WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Are you sure you provided the correct account ID?

You need to provide the one for the channel you're currently logged into.

#

If you're logged in with your YouTube account and trying to delete there, then you need to use that username and JWT token.

Your Twitch ones will not work.

@coarse lantern To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
Add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements as a Comment Moderator at https://www.youtube.com/comment_management
When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

So, I have been live streaming with this software for a little bit and it has worked fine untill jsut now. I hit start live and none of my chat popped up or anything. Its telling me to connect with twitch but I am live streaming to youtube. It went live on youtibe dashboard to so IDK what is happening.

For that end your stream click settings, go to the stream tab, and ensure that all your stuff is accurately set up. You may need to copy your current stream key and paste it into the stream key spot and then apply it, hit okay, and try again.

@left belfry staff can merge your accounts together in a matter of seconds. The delete account button is manually reviewed so staff have to be awake anyways

Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

Hey I could use some help. I am trying to save my CPU and i saw this article (see pic). I downloaded all the necessary applications but can't get it to work. I followed the website included in the pic but I end up with a black screen in OBS. Also i got obs stream labs...is this needed in addition to obs live. seems like streamlab and obs with the live add on are 2 separate and mutually exclusive things

@versed tangle so my suggestion would be to sign in into streamelements with a youtube account, the one that has over 100 subs. then you can set up a se.pay account and a paypal payment method and the go to my overlay and setup an overlay with an alertbox like you normally would. disable all alerts except for the donation and you're good. you can also setup a merch store like that and setup the same alertbox for merch alerts, without adding anything else. then you grab that URL for that overlay and put it into your obs with dimensions 1920x1080

WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Private: When a users subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page, and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

Have streamer sign in (top right)
Select Dark theme option change to ON
Stop Stream

Hey SE team! Been over talking to the OBS devs about something I've been running into. I have an overlay that has the same graphic twice (webcam frame for 2-person scene) and occassionally it doesn't load one of them, where I have to refresh the browser source, and then it shows up fine. I was curious if this has come up before, where you're using the same asset twice in the same overlay. It's not every time, random and intermittent. OBS team says that button should rarely have to be used.

you can part the bot, but that wont help as the settings will be there.

there is no real reason to reset everything,
you can delete your account, but this will take a a few days and you will lose everything

I have a question about YouTube Sponsor Alerts... So I have 3 different tiers on my channel (2,99€; 4,99€ and 14,99€) and I'd like to have 3 different alerts for each of them. What I did is: I created an alert box and added variations to the sponsor-widget.

Now, I'm a bit confused on how to set this up... It says the "Variation Parameter" is set to "Subscription tier". Do I have to set the Requirement to "1" (For Tier 1) or do I have to type in the membership fee?

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Installed StreamElements on my Android phone, fired up, asks me to connect to Twitch or Youtube, I choose Youtube, gives me a Google login page, fill in my credentials, page tells me "Google couldn't sign you in. This browser or app may not be secure". What next?

@willow star The default resolution for StreamElements overlays (theme and custom) is 1920x1080. Please add them in OBS at their full resolution and use CTRL+F to fit to screen if necessary. You can then downscale your stream in OBS settings > Video if you'd like https://i.imgur.com/6bWXxjR.png

@willow star Users can choose to make the channels that they subscribe to public or private. By default, all settings are set to private.

Private: When a users subscriptions are set to private, no other user can see what channels they subscribe to. A user's account does not show in a channel's Subscribers List, even if they are subscribed.
Public: When users subscriptions are set to public, another user can see what channels they subscribe to. User subscriptions are listed on their channel page, and their account is listed in the Subscribers List for any channel they subscribe to.

If a user has it set to Private they will not show up in the activity feed. More info: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7280190

@night jacinth To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
Add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements as a Comment Moderator at https://www.youtube.com/comment_management
When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

@regal locust We're not able to troubleshoot issues with using our overlays in StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS) as we don't have the tools to support their software. We recommend using OBS Studio or OBS Studio with our plugin OBS.Live.

Evening folks! I'm very exited to be here!
I'm starting to use Streamelements with OBS and I was wondering why he doesn't recognize me on YouTube.
I've made the login with both FB and YT and started streaming. FB channel says I'm ONLINE and kicking. YouTube always stays offline on SE.

I've streamed on both chan at the same time with restream.io so I don't understand what's wrong there!

It might be server side related, as to how everyone is home and watching YT and all.
