@versed tangle There are a couple reasons we don't have loyalty for youtube:
- Youtube doesn't have a viewer list similar to twitch.
- We have to ping the YouTube API to get chat messages, and this counts toward our YouTube API quota. We have a limited number of API calls each day/month, and this would hasten our usage dramatically.
Other bots soley ping for those messages, so it isn't a big deal if they use a lot of their API quota, but we also use the API for other alerts from youtube, and for the media/song request system, which on its own is heavy usage. The other thing, because of #1, there is no way to track when someone joins your stream chat (until they send their first message), and no way to track when someone leave your stream (can only guess at this).

The bot works differently for YouTube than it does for Twitch because, as you might guess, they're different sites with different APIs.

I have tried off the air multiple times muting/unmuting and as well parting and joining the feed on my channel management and it is not responding. We can't track when you spend your money, we can only add to the goal progress when you receive a tip.
After you edit the number, click on the "Save" button.

Are you using Chrome? You can delete Custom commands. Default Commands cannot be deleted. Only disabled.
You may have to scroll right on your screen to see the Trashcan icon to delete custom commands/timers

So I have 2 problems. 1. I have a timer set up as my donation timer, but its not displaying the link that I want it too. It's displaying my old one which I now have a new one. I updated the link in the timer and the new one was displaying for about a week, now for some reason it's back to my old donation link and I can't seem to fix it. I only have 1 timer for this and it's still for some reason displaying my old donation link. I even tried disabling it and the old donation link would still show up... so confused. 2. Every time someone donates to me it doesn't update on my overlay. My subscribers update, but the donations don't. It only updates when I use stream labs as a donation. It's not a stream labs overlay, it's just one that supposed to put my tips and subs on it. Is there any way I can upload my overlay that I have now to SE so that way it can update the tips? Please help!

@copper panther 1) delete the old link from your timed message with your new link
2) yes use the StreamElements overlay Editor to make your SE overlay. Our widgets only work with our service not with competitors. Hence why your Streamlabs overlay update when some one tips through StreamLabs instead of StreamElements.
@sly token go to the overlay Editor for the counter and change the time. You can add twitter/insta/fb icons if you use a overlay provided from us and change the text.

Yes it was in my dashboard plus PayPal. I received the money but alert didn't come off while I was streaming. I tested it on stream element overlay editing section multiple times before I went on live.

yes, once you add it to an image widget, go into the layers (bottom left), find that widget, and click the eye

You would need to remove the white in the source image itself, and save it as a format that supports transparency, like .png

I'd suggest to go to the main dashboard and make sure the bot is joined into your channel.

I have a question i am new to the server. I was wanting to get more information, But i did have a question about 2 different places that i stream in. I was thinking about getting StreamElements, But i have like nightbot and i got my stuff off of streamlabs obs but made browser sources to go into my obs. And im also using restream. Could i get more info, I saw one streamer that has streamelements and i see alot of ppl that have streamlabs obs stuff but added to a browser source. And i also use restream for YT and Twitch. i know that this is YTs channel and another one is twitch but i stream on both. Like restream i have twitch and YT all in one chat. I hope i made sense xD I didnt mean to confuse people, The one thing that i dont have is an overlay....I guess im asking is there anyway to still be able to get streamelements and have twitch and YT like together and a chat and all the other things i said above.
Im also watching videos i like how the tipping is like streamlabs they take out some of the donations that you get and yall do not.
I also like how yall have it to where its easy to set up the overlays right now i dont have one i have like a stream starting soon and a brb, and stream is ending.

@short stream StreamElements does not have support for Restream. You cannot have data from your Twitch and YouTube channels populate in a single place. They will essentially be entirely separate accounts in StreamElements.

Anything you put into an overlay using our system would either pull from Twitch or YouTube, depending on which account you logged into on StreamElements. They would not share data whatsoever.
I'm pretty sure I just told you this in the live chat, assuming you're the same person.
The chat bots would be different and pull only from Twitch or YouTube respectively and would not handle data from both. You would have different tipping links for YouTube and Twitch, and the alerts would overlap if they were used simultaneously. Same with followers on Twitch and Subscribers on YouTube. They are entirely separate accounts and do not communicate in our system whatsoever.

You can tell the bot to part from your channel with the "Part channel" button on your StreamElements dashboard. As for the tipping, if you don't provide anyone your tipping page link, then nobody will be using it, so it's a non-issue there.

When I made my streamelements account, it defaulted to my /user/ channel username which, to say the least, is a bit of an embarrassing old account name. I made my account back when they had those, before they changed it to the /c/ system. I'm wanting my streamelements URL manually changed to something else, since I can't do that myself on the site

@storm wharf That would mean you need to link them, not unlink them. But to clarify one thing, the only benefit of linking accounts, aside from quickly switching between them, is being able to copy overlays from one to the other. Merged accounts don't share any data whatsoever.

Hello, I asked a question yesterday late at night but no one really got to it but thats okay but hoping this time but the SE.Pay tab, does that also pop up on the YouTube log in on Stream Elements site or is it only on the Twitch login on Stream Elements website and if so would I have to requests that on the YouTube login SE site or does it work for both logins from the SE site and yes I am USA so I already got the SE.Pay tab on twitch login.
Also just one more question that I'm more curious about. I did read the article for the tipping settings but wondering after the set up on connecting, do i have to have a PayPal account to earn tips or is it after I get my first donation that I can set it up with a different bank account that isn't paypal or does it have to be paypal account for this to work?

- If you want to receive tips via paypal, then yes, you have to have a paypal account.
- The SE.Pay feature is set to show up on your account based on a few different things on the backend. Do you stream on both platforms? And is your name on them about the same?

SE.Pay is completely separate from PayPal. You would need to connect a bank account with that payment provider. Since you use the same name on both platforms, I recommend using just one tipping page and setting up alerts so no matter which platform you are on, you will still get the tip alert (making sure to have the twitch account alertbox in OBS)

Are you referring to the initial setup? It just tries to detect if you have a tipping link currently, it doesn't matter if you have PayPal or G2A setup on it or SE.Pay

You can stream on Youtube, but the OBS.Live functionality is Twitch only at the moment.

Hi. I want to stream on YouTube using the commands that I already have saved in Twitch within StreamElements. I change accounts to YouTube but SE does not respond to the basic commands of the bot. Could anyone help me?

Your twitch and youtube accounts are 2 separate entities in our system.
They can't share commands between each other, due the above and that some variables don't work the same way.

On our main dashboard, make sure you've clicked on "Join channel" for the bot.
And that you are live - the bot joins your channel 15 to 30 minutes after you go live.

Well if you want the others to show up automatically each time they reach the time limit: Set em to 0.

@green trellis it is a normal bank transaction, so it can take more than week in work days to show up on your account. Please have some more patience, and if it doesn't turn up next week inquire about it again!

Things I did: REJOIN THE BOT, LOG OUT AND LOG IN AGAIN, delete timer and commands and add them again

Faulty module is ntdll.dll, and the code is c0000005, with these, it could indicate a problem with the system itself.

Can you post a regualr log as well from when the crash occurs? Also, for the record, streaming to YouTube, OBS.Live will give you no benefit or features as they are all Twitch at this time

Press Start 2P does not currently work on the overlay. It's a pixelated kind of font and really nice, but it doesn't work at all when I try to use it as a font in the overlay. It's bugged at the moment.
