I think you’re not understanding what any of those things are doing to get you to the link and assuming motive. All web traffic is done like that for the most part. It’s super simple. They send you to a link and that’s it. Doesn’t matter how really.

It’s like using a car or bike or gps to drive somewhere you have the same end.

In order to remain free to everyone, providing credit card processing via StreamElements isn't a smart business decision. StreamLabs can provide credit card processing because they literally charge money for using their services. Half of a Prime subscription goes towards credit card transaction processing fees. This is how a business works. They charge you money to provide you a service. The reason that StreamElements uses PayPal is because PayPal provides free transfer of money to your bank account. PayPal charges the fee to the viewer when they tip in order to cover the processing cost of charging a credit card or PayPal account.

Again, this isn't a StreamElements issue, it is an issue with PayPal and how your computer is receiving the PayPal website when you click the link. It is an issue on PayPals side and won't be solved by repeating "we need this button." as there is nothing that can be done from the StreamElements side.

Guest Payments also open the door to fraudulent chargebacks. meanwhile, CC payments need to be checked, verfied, and processed. This isn't cheap, at all, and requires a Payment Service Provider -per country- where the CC is being used or is issued from.

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

I do all my overlays locally because I don't like relying on cloud services for things I have the resources to do myself, the only piece of data im missing is latest donator because its a streamelements thing so I need to get the data from them.

I did find documentation for an api that would fit my needs but it seems to be geared for public app developers and inturn locked behind an authorization whitelist instead of it being like "heres your account, heres the auth id to access youre accounts data"
