So basically I haven't been able to edit very much before because my laptop is a potato, but recently I got access to some awesome editing rigs at my university so I thought it'd be cool to mess around. The main challenge I faced was trying to tell a story, but using a stream vod. It's obviously much harder to edit vods since 80% of the time the streamer is talking to chat and disrupts the flow of the video. I ended up with a lot of cuts, but hopefully it still 'makes sense'/'flows'. I threw in a lot of motion tracking for comedic effect as well haha. Even though some parts took forever to do, I think it was worth it. The only thing I'm concerned about is the length of the video, but hopefully the amount of cuts keeps it moving. I think I'll have to keep experimenting ๐

Kappa Pride is a horrible emote to represent Lgbt+. It is just a bunch of random colors thrown together. Many of the colors are not on the gay flag even.

To me it shows the creator doesn't take the meaning behind it seriously and is mocking it.
If I wanted to show I respect and represent something I'd at least take the time to research and make sure I'm getting the details right.
Think about it like this, you created a company and you have colors that represent your company. If you paid someone to create something to help promote your company and they didn't use your companies colors you'd probably be upset. Or what If you wanted to represent a country or sports team and didn't use their colors. Again it shows disrespect.

No you misunderstood the rainbow is accurate. Kappa Pride uses colors not in the rainbow. Light blue and magenta for example aren't in the rainbow. Also I'm gay and I have Lgbtq+ friends on twitch that have told me they get offended by kappa pride. Anyone can say it is meant to support but when it doesn't follow key details it just looks like they threw something together so they can make a "claim" that they support when they probably don't really care when they didn't care enough to get the details right. Not everyone will feel the same and that's fine. Just voicing from my own experience.

Kappa Pride is the only gay global emote so it's used to show support cause their are no other options. Outside of subbing and getting custom emotes we are forced to use it regardless.
Not everyone can afford to sub so the free alternative is better than nothing even if we don't like the emote. It's just unfortunate that Twitch as a company only offers one lgbtq+ global emote and it's not even accurate.

@frigid trout there aren't really any good websites to make avatars on, but I heard photoshop has a free online version. So if you know how to use photoshop check that out. But I highly recommend paying a little bit of money and hiring someone from #art-marketplace to do it for you.

out the main things i use there black of troll provention in the se music request is the biggest one keeping in mind i may be a streamer of 50 follower but i get at 2 to 3 trolls a streams with the music requests

to give an idea have look at the nightbot provisention list it at the moment is king in that area as far as whats avliable
what would like to start to see thhe ability to block any video containg key words in the title or cc
a report links to be added as a well know troll or harassement link
at least have the ability to request songs from soundcloud, spotify and youtube as music sources
your desktop app is greate so far but as i can say that was the main reason i orginally wanted to tryed se but it wasnt place in obviouse placr to find idealy it should be in its own deadicated tab not under activitys looking like its a ad
patreon and extra life intergration would make it so much better as me and lot of other streamer use patreons
i also personally have merch store alert setup and if se add direct intergration with my merch store "design by humans " alerts it would be so much rasier
also if muxy was had with importing or tight ingratiom between muxy alerts and se's bot

yeah while some of these aee miner things i know some people are will have need for it or its the blocking barier

- We have extra life integration, including its own super theme. Patreon is planned (keep in mind for most of this, we are only about a year out from being publicly launched)
- Merch store integration could be possible in the future, but its not high on the priority list (we are looking at getting on all platforms for streaming, along with many upgrades to existing products).
- There is already a tag ban list and a specific song ban list for youtube, I use these to remove troll songs, though having title banning might be something we could look at. #๐ญ๏ธฑfeedback-and-ideas is good for that.
- The Ground Control app is scheduled for a MAJOR facelift
- There are some awesome updates coming, so keep an eye out, I can't speak about them all.
- We are looking at having other sources for song requests, most of that depends on having developers available to produce it, and the source giving us dev access to their API (like spotify had originally denied us that access so we couldn't integrate with them).
- We are more trying to implement everything onto our platform. The idea is the one-stop-shop. It may take time, but we want everything and to do it better than the competition ๐

Some of that stuff is difficult due to youtube API limitations. Nightbot is a special case because the dev has been in the market a while, and has access to much higher limits than we do

photoshop does have a learning curve, but I would suggest getting used to that, as it is far more powerful with what you can do

Optimized my overlay for static text, while showing more data. This is now actually 4 browser sources, so I can move my camera frame around as needed, and leave everything else in place. It also allows me to have kappagen and the static pieces at 30 fps while my alerts are at 60 fps. Static pieces also dont need to be shutdown, so no loading on those items for transitions.

New additions to the overlay, a recents panel that pops up every 15 minutes with the latest follower and also shows the uptime, and also a YouTube overlay that fetches the latest video, picks a random point and plays a small clip for viewers (muted of course).
Since it's pretty distracting, I modularised it somewhat. Currently I can just toggle a flag to enable/disable them popping up. Right now it's just disabled, but I'm hoping to reuse the code for something like the ending screen after switching scenes where the focus could be on the videos instead.
