That dish was my own twist. I got grounded pork/beef and added gojuchang, gochugaru (chili flakes), a little sugar, some curry powder (yellow). Add soy sauce and sesame oil and mixed it into the meat

So the meat was marinated, then I added another mix of chili flakes, gojuchang, soy sauce and sesame oil. Add water, throw in pan. Add noodles, spring onions and I added kimchi too

I experimented with some korean ingredients to make interesting meatballs, @fierce pendant

I had normal ground beef (gehakt) with:

Gochugaru / Chili Flakes
Gojuchang / Chili Paste
Ground Pepper (four seasons)
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
1,5 teaspoon sugar
2tbs Curry powder (Madras).

And I mixed all that with the meat, it was real nice 😮

And then reinvent and adapt with it.

One example. I am making a version of the spicy noodles but the chili is too overpowering with other flavours, which means it lacks something else. Like a sweet element.

But my beef noodles are in my eyes harmonious in terms of tastes, with nothing truly overly present.

@strange flume there are two types. American cheese (super over processed), and cheddar. Cheddar doesn't melt as easily, has a darker yellow look, and is just a chunk cut from the block (no processing besides being made into cheese). Just gotta make sure you don't mix up the two (I dislike American cheese, lol)

Today i made chicken and prawns in the slowcooker with a oriental soya marinade served with rice, dried onions, nuts and seeds. Reduced sauce from the marinade and styr-fried veggies followed by a yogurt dessert with fresh fruit and mint pesto.
