There's no way to force a newline, the best you can do is send multiple messages or make guesses on how many spaces to add so it looks like a new line.

Hey so I've been having an issue with SE.LIVE recently. Sometimes, the "chat" and "event" panel go completely black, and I have to alt-tab out of the game to fix it. However, after it comes back, OBS starts using a TON of RAM (upwards of 10GB) whereas it's only using around 1GB normally. Any ideas what the issue might be?

Any ideas as to why the bot was not recognizing people hosting tonight? When I got a raid, I'd also get a host alert, but not when people would just host. I had the Minimum amount set to 0, which says it will show all alerts; I just changed it to 1 in case that would help, but it wasn't showing the chat alert, either. Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

My chatbot randomly stopped working. Non of the options (streamelements or custom name) works for custom commands. Alerts work fine and Shoutouts work too but non of my custom commands. Sending a test message in obs.live also does not work.

He started this problem a few minutes ago, even if at the beginning of the stream everything worked. Having the powers on the bot directly from the streamelements site I tried to throw it out of the dashboard, but it didn't solve the problem.

Hello there. The streamer I moderate for has a connected SE Bot. But it doesn't trigger any sorts of commands. Since the bot shows up in the chat and the streamer cannot connect it further than it already is, I assume, there might be an internal issue. It is the first stream since 30.12.21, if that matters and back then it still worked absolutely fine :3 Since @analog python already refered to something similar without real reply I guess you could help me too 🙂

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Hello! I have setup stream elements alert system and copied the browser into my obs "Browser" source, when I test it, it works perfectly fine, but when I go LIVE nothing comes up at all!! PLEASE HELP

Having this issue where I have TTS enabled but cannot hear it on my desktop (in obs). It works fine in the browser, and my stream audience can hear it as well. The alert animation and sound also plays just fine through, and the desktop audio meter moves like the sound is playing, but I don't hear it.

I have tried playing with the monitoring options in advanced settings but, no dice. Don't have any virtual surround enabled for my headset/speakers either unless there's something I missed. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

I imported all of my streamlabs history into streamelements, using streamelements' import tool for history+alerts+files+etc. It worked fine, only I accidentally double clicked and imported it twice. So, now, the history is doubled, which means all of my tip history is doubled, etc.

BUT

just to be safe, I would go to Scene Collection -> Export and save the .json file to somewhere on your PC

that way when you do sucessfully get SE.Live into your OBS you can go to Scene Collection -> Import and drag that same file in and it should put everything back

try adding the widget in a new overlay. (ADD WIDGET -> ENGAGEMENT -> Subscribers Credit Roll) unless you have more than 100 subs this should work fine

when you say the sound stays but not the gif do you mean that when you hit save, it reverts the gif back to stock?

Hello, i've just started using multi audio outputs, but now my alerts from my browser audio output doesn't have any sound, the stream hears it but i do not. Before using the multi audio outputs i only had my desktop audio. What can i do to be able to hear the alerts? I'm using OBS live

It's possible that your output audio for OBS in particular might not be what you want it to be? In windows Sound settings

I've made sure to check if the links differ in anyway and they do. But I haven't been explicitly been copying the browser source until I realised they weren't working they way I wanted it

Chatstats are fixed. If you look at the Twitch extension, that can take up to 24h to update, the website is already up2date.

The watchtime is hardlinked to the loyalty points. Once enabled it will count the watchtime on the next livestream.

Please part the bot from your dashboard (right side under bot settings) > logout of StreamElements at https://streamelements.com/logout > log in again > re-invite the bot > mod it (make sure it's not muted).
