You cannot ban, but can set a big timeout period. Usually those bots have their accounts deactivated after some days.
And ban could also bring a false positive, once I timed out an old subscriber because his name was something like "hossbill"

hello! I've been having an issue from some time after moving from streamlabs to streamelemnts where some of my alerts don't play properly or at all. My sub alert does not show the animated image I have selected and also never plays the sub message in TTS. and my tips/dono alert does not play at all although during stream but works perfectly fine when I emulate it for tests.

Check your variations for any alerts that are playing defaults, if those aren't changed then they won't play the custom alerts

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I think this is weird thing, because all viewers have 0(channel)points.

I didn’t add it into custom commands at all.
I couldn't modified default commands.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

1. Right-click on your OBS desktop shortcut and open the Properties
2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)
3. Open OBS (or restart if it was open)
4. Open your web browser and type in: localhost:40404

6. Navigate to the Console tab
7. Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8. Try setting the custom bot name

When I make changes to the alertbox all text goes away, when I try adding a new one once I remove the original sound and image the text goes away even without editing. I have followed the steps to remove and rejoin the bot and most things are working correctly; I am having no issues with the bot or commands. The only issues I am having are regarding my Merch and Chat Stats pages. Merch is linking to Seym0re and Chat Stats is getting a 404 error while Seym0re is still available with my old stats.

• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

If you are referring to the default chat overlay, no it isn't possible. However, there are some chat widgets on #widget-share you can check if there is an option like you are looking for.
Also, if you have some CSS knowledge, you can edit the widget to meet your needs.

Try to refresh the activity feed on OBS. You can just right-click and select “Refresh” (or Ctrl + R)

Another option is clicking twice on the overlay on your OBS, and scroll down until you see the option to refresh cache. This will reload your overlay

For anyone who comes to search for this answer later seeing as no-one seemed to be able to confirm, you need to add the store redemption alert to the overlay your using for the !redeem <item> to work, i figured it out after some trial and error. It's not super clear anywhere as when setting up the store redemption it asks you to set a picture/sound which you don't actually need to do, you just need the alert box for your own ones to work.

Steps to make a command trigger sound on stream:

1. Go to Stream Store page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/store/items
2. Add an item that has these settings on it:

• Stream Perk
• Loyalty settings to your desire
• (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)
• "Redeeming this item shows an alert
• Redemable via chat
• Skip Requirements

3. Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
4. Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot-commands/custom-commands
5. Add command with desired name and have response for command as: ${redeem item_name_here}
6. Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
7. Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
8. Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound

in the stream of a befriended streamer (for whom I am also Mod and StreamElements Editor), some followers / chat participants cannot use loyalty points, for example to play alerts, even if they cost 0 points. The chatbot always responds "@XYZ, Sorry you don't have enough points", although the person clearly has enough points and is listed in the leaderboard. Adding points to the person or first deleting all points as a test did not solve the problem. The problem appears to be more around when people change their Twitch name and use !rename too late (?!)? Will StreamElements get "confused" then? Retrospectively !rename couldn't solve the problem either.

The affected follower has already contacted the StreamElements Support on his own initiative, but they said it was a setting on streamer side? The streamer and I watched together and found nothing in the StreamElements settings for this kind of issue ...

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

just make the same command on both bots, one to redeem the SFX and the other to output the text

you can import your overlays. but a chat widget is like all widgets, you use the overlay link to create a browser source in your OBS

and it just shows what happens in chat. there are several widgets for that in #widget-share

but if I maybe misunderstood the specific use-case feel free to elaborate

I'm trying to setup the loyalty system to have points as well as the modules/chat commands.
I have the loyalty system turned on and gave myself points to do some tests while offline (I show up on the leaderboard on my dashboard) however the !points command or any other points related commands do not work in my chat.
For the modules/chat commands, I'll use the !8ball an an example. Anytime I enable the slider on the chat commands page(to be able to be used while stream is online or offline) and it says it saves. But if I refresh the page, the slider goes back to disabled. This occurs regardless if the 8ball module slider is enabled on the modules page as well. The command obviously does not work in my chat either. Basically, nothing appears to save or is able to be used in my chat. I do have streamelements as a mod

I seem to be having issues with my in game chat bot.

I think it started happening when those fake follows were happening all at once.

• But the bot no longer was showing in chat for a week now
• Sounds still playing ok
• today i tried to add sound commands and when im trying to click on the commands tab in stream elements site i can't get to the page to add the command but yesterday I was able to.
• I relogged in and reconnected to twitch from OBS and still can't add the new commands

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

The game was being captured, but not any sound from it. And I couldn't hear any audio from any music I was playing on the computer at the time. Yeah, Desktop Audio is just listed as the speakers I have plugged in. And I'm capturing my game through the Game Capture source. Still not getting any sound out of either of them.
