Hello, I'm having issues accessing my dashboard using Firefox for mac (92.0). The landing page shows I'm connected using my Twitch account, but then when pressing Dashboard the page never loads and stays on the https://streamelements.com/dashboard/welcome-back address with a blank page. Switching to Safari loads the page just fine. Are there any known issues or workarounds for this?

Our Dashboard and Overlay Editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. Firefox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins is blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in an incognito tab.

Hi there, I am hoping that someone might be able to help me with a stream I'm modding for. His alerts a silent when he is tabbed into a full screen game. If he's alt-tabbed out, he can hear them. This is a recent issue, and he's sure he hasn't changed anything.

We did remove and re-add the browser source and checked to make sure everything is feeding the sound through the right channels in his sound mixer. It's a strange issue, and we're not really sure how to fix it.

He does use a go-XLR and thinks it could be something to do with that, but he hasn't changed anything and it was working before.

You can always part and rejoin the bot., but as far as I know, there are no reported issues with the algorithm and we haven't seen any reports of this behavior.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

For the first one, that's not something I can really walk you through but there are apps that make it easy if you're trying to do a screen capture to Twitch. StreamElements on Android is not one of them.

If you're trying to do the latter then you need to purchase a physical device or research ways to capture console gameplay to Twitch. I believe most modern consoles have native apps these days.

You can add, remove and make changes to custom commands in chat with !command/!cmd flags:

!command remove (commandname) - allows you to delete a custom command

!command show (commandname) - allows you to see the raw response of a command before variables are used

There are services that you could try.

For example, Lightstream might be able to help you get alerts and overlays.

And you could use SE overlays but we can't really troubleshoot Lightstream.

We can assist with StreamElement focused issues when using the overlays but you might have some success there but generally a capture card is recommended.

I think Lightstream works natively now with some consoles, not sure which but it looking into that might help you accomplish what you want and give you the ability to use StreamElements.

So... I am pretty sure this is NOT a S.E. issue. I've noticed that when someone HOSTS me, I don't get a notification (like it's not appearing on the Twitch Activity feed). Since it's not appearing on the twitch activity feed, StreamElements is certainly not going to pop up the alert.

Is there a setting somewhere on the Twitch side that prevents those alerts from going through or being registered? I see the hosting alerts work for other streamers, just not mine.

There have been changes to where settings are located, so many it's just a matter of finding the location. Can anyone give me a hand here?

and doing some testing... I'm connected to the twitch irc server... when someone hosts, it does appear as a whisper from jtv (assume this is the old justin tv account).... so it's being registered for sure... but just not getting through to the activity feed?

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Is there a way to change the name of your StreamElements chat bot without using OBS.Live? I've gotten OBS.L out of my OBS install but and have a custom browser dock for the activity feed but it doesn't have the custom chat bot settings button

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

But out of curiosity, why would you need someone to be permitted for 3 minutes exactly? The !permit command is usually given to an user send some link or any message that would give them a timeout or message deleted.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Regular is a custom role you can put people there manually. Their permission will be between Subscriber and VIP
There is another one called Super Moderator, which is manually set as well. It will have more permission than moderator, but less than broadcaster.
Everyone -> Subscriber -> Regular -> VIP -> Moderator -> Super Moderator -> Broadcast

hey guys, does someone know how to increase the raffle limit from 5000?

try 100k or 100000 instead of 5000 when setting it through there. don't think 5k will be accepted via the module settings.
you can also try as a command. like !raffle 5000 180 to hand out 5k points in 3 minutes [should accept the 5k]

Yes, you can use a total follower widget and change the text on it to make it look like a goal

Thank you but I did try to do that initially but the count whenever I emulated a follow event appeared as a random number instead of counting up.

you're not banned. even existing submissions needed to be removed since re-organizing of the entire promotion was required.

The count of total followers is a completely different number each time I press the emulate follow event button, would this happen when real people follow (The number showing up random and not being the actual count of my followers) or is this just what happens when you press the 'Emulate Follow event' button. Thank you!

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

A few weeks ago, I can no longer access a streamer's channel as an editor on StreamElements. I can access from all the others that I have editor in SE. It has happened other times that access has been lost and it is always on the same channel. When I try to enter it, I'm forever on the home page, so I have to go to my SE Profile, click on the site's logo, choose another channel that I have an editor to enter and exit. It's a way I found for the browser to recognize that I left the channel that is in error.
I've cleared cache, switched browsers (Chrome, Opera, Edge), but I can't access the specific channel. All other channels are normal.

@north leaf I think they have to re-authorize their account - so log into their dashboard. I had that happen to me before and that fixed it.
