Sorry for bothering, but i have a command with a ${random.pick} that gives me back this error: Parsing error at position 276: Mismatched quotation mark. (the position indicates always the last quotation mark).
But i have others commands with that variable and works fine. Copying the working one and then change the "pick" just makes them work at the start and then give me the same error when i edit them (without touching the quotation marks). I'm having an issue which seems really specific and the only video I could find on it didn't help fix it--I have alerts set up through SE's website, and have the overlay as a browser source in Streamlabs OBS. When I click "emulate" to preview the alerts, they all work just fine--both in the browser as well as showing up in the preview window on SLOBS. But when I'm actually live, none of those alerts work at all. I've checked that the resolutions all match between SE and SLOBS but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Any help?

Add a widget called "Bot Counter" - you can search it up in the widgets list
Usually what ever is in the ${getcount <counter name>} (example ${getcount call_of_cod} ) needs to go where i've marked in the screenshot for the bot count widget

then any manipulation with ${count} will reflect in the widget pretty much instantly
As for setting up the ${count} variable. Written guide: #helpdesk-twitch message

You are more or less correct. If the supertheme's cam border is a different asset within the overlay editor it self, then you can remove it. If its baked into the graphic, there is no way to remove it as that is the intended way to use the supertheme

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

Hello. I have been trying to set up alerts using OBS Studio. I am able to hear the alert while streaming, but my images that I set up don't show up. I switched from StreamLabs thinking is was a problem there, but have found the same issue with StreamElements. I am guessing I am missing something in settings somewhere or something. You would need to create an entry on FIELDS tab to upload your video on the left side if I'm not mistaken

The other person needs to add you as a editor on their Streamelements dashboard. Once you have access, go to their channel and "My Overlays". You will see "Import from other channels"

2. Create a new invite at one of three access levels (Bot Supervisor, Editor, Full Control)

Hey, I'm having an issue with the streamelements editor. My canvas is 1440p and I think the editor is assuming 1080p...this makes it impossible to place elements accurately.

For example, I have my alerts centered but they're off to the left when run in OBS, and I can't put labels in the bottom right corner because the edge of the editor is not the edge of the OBS canvas

Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Speed tests usually cannot help solve this problem and its best to use this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Dropped-Frames-and-General-Connection-Issues

If you stream to twitch, use the !twitchtest command and do a connection test to your regional servers.

4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name

Having some issues with SE chatbot after obs live update. Before my commands worked perfectly. Now the chatbot isn't performing any commands. Steps I've taken was I went to dashboard and under bot setting I parted channel and rejoined channel, made sure it wasn't muted, and made sure it was indeed a moderator. The issue was that, although it's okay to use my name as the bots name so that it can use my emotes, it needed to be all lower case instead of capitalized how my name appears (mrdudeguysir instead of MrDudeGuySir)

Cant use SE alerts at the moment as the browser source used via OBS eats up all my CPU causing the alert and or facecam to lag for 2 or 3 seconds. Using Nvenc so not sure how this happens, any tips or is my hardware just too old to handle it? Using an i7 4th generation intel with Gtx 970 but with Nvenc I dont go over 6%cpu usage so in thinking it's the SE alerts but could be wrong. It's a very small size webm file with separate audio

Hi team, just wondering if the below scenario is possible within the scope of streamelements .::.

I want to have a command (something like !stream <xyz>) where <xyz> will be a variable that is stored...
Then if someone types !arcade it comes back with a response pulling the variable <xyz>...
The !stream command will already be mod only so no-one can manipulate or tos the command...
Everytime the !stream command is used it will replace the previously stored <xyz> variable with the new one...

yes i did. Overlay on 1440p, alert box on 1440p, and the rendered video on 1440p
But doesnt matter how big i make the alert box. The Video inside the altert box seems to be always 50% smaller...

had to set the overlay and the alert to 4k resolution so it apears almost fullscreen in my OBS on 1440p

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Whenever I log out, and want to log in with the other Twitch account, I automatically get logged in with my own one instead.

How do I fix that?

go to: https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections and disconnect.

that will force break the connection and require you to relog; when you go to log back in; make sure that the Oauth screen shows the one that you want to connect with.

you will also have to logout of SE to break the link.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)
3. Open OBS (or restart if it was open)
4. Open your web browser and type in: localhost:40404
5. Click on StreamElements - Activity feed
6. Navigate to the Console tab
7. Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8. Try setting the custom bot name
9. Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties.

2. when there's a username following the command, the bot will say that username
3. when there's a word (that is not a username) following the command, the bot won't say anything
   the best one that i can think of is ${1|' '} but it only applies for the first 2 conditions, not the last one
