Let me see if I understood, in a particular scene, it works and in another one it doesn't, is that correct? If so, there is something in that scene that is preventing the source to move. Or maybe you can create a source on another scene and duplicate it to the one which is not working (and deleting the previously created one)

Hello, i configured 2 overlays for 2 scenes on my OBS, with 1 alertbox each one, but I don't see hosts alerts when im streaming. If I emulate the alert on the overlay edit web, i see it if i check preview live on stream. All alerts work but not hosts, neither in the event list (i put minimun amount on 0) (Amount of 0 will show all alerts). Thank you.

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

The issue is that a zero viewer host adds zero value to your stream. Therefore it makes no sense as a streamer to display them, as many are autohosts. Since these have no value add to the stream and with Twitch’s API changes it does not make sense to have them generate any alert. I believe if you wanted to thank those that hosted you there is a credit roll widget/overlay that can display that information at the end of your stream.

Anytime you have an alert or engagement tool the purpose is to add value to your stream.

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

I thought this issue had resolved, but apparently not. sannobot is Streamelements Chatbot renamed. It is properly giving a Follow Chat Alert as soon as the Follow happens. What is driving me absolutely crazy and I cannot for the life of me solve is WHERE the Second Chat Alert is coming from. It's nearly 4 minutes delayed from the actual event and is somehow responding as Me. I have disconnected every single bot I've ever used. Literally Streamelements is the only bot with permissions to access my chat, so in my mind it must be coming from S.E. Anyone have any insight? Would be much appreciated.

If you're talking about having your Twitch Chat appear in your scene, that requires you to capture a Web Browser Source with the unique link you'll find in your StreamElements Overlays. Be sure to place the Chat Box in your Overlay.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money

Is there a way to give a moderator "read only" access to the Activity Feed in Streamelements? I want them to see donations on a single activity feed with subs, bits, raids, gift subs but I don't want them to be able to edit anything on my Streamelements dashboard. (It is ok if they see other stuff.) The Twitch activity feed does not include donations. Or perhaps there is a widget?

I can't login to streamelements with twitch, everytime I connect it loads then sends me back to the home screen where it shows the big button saying "MY DASHBOARD" I have tried: Clearing my cache, logging out and re-loggin in, using a very specific URL to take to for example bot-commands and nothing works, I just keep getting sent back to the home screen. Dropped Frames means that you have a bad connection between your device and the streaming platform and most likely something related to your ISP not handling the connection properly.

Hi there ! I have a weird issue with streamelement browser sources after formatting and restoring my OBS backup.
(everything was working fine prior to this, just had to upgrade cpu for a faster one)
I see this error on every scene change, they make obs "soft crash" and not be able to render any more browser source before a restart.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hello! I was wondering if there was a way to give points (currency) to a user through a command they initiate. Here's an example of how I would do it with WizeBot. Before I have to transfer my whole currency system to a new bot, is there a way I can do this with StreamElements ?

I'm trying out media requests, and it doesn't appear to be working at all. I can see the commands in my obs, but no sound plays. The overlay has the media request tab on as well. The only thing that might an issue is the media request page on the streamelements website just has the circle rotating (so thinking/loading) and doesn't change ie. show video being requested.

so im having this issue with obs, where i have the dock windows glitching on me, they show the chat window then have two type boxes but one is inactive and then when i click on stream information i can't type in the title or the game selection. i have obs on a second monitor but if i move everything to the first monitor it works fine. and i even disconnected my restream account and reconnected and cleare the obs studio cache folder. but none of that helped. im thinking it is something to do with stream elements.

ok, last question before i give up, why does your stream information and chat window look so different to the default? it could be that one of the plugins you installed such as restream changed the look and behavior of those windows

in the streamelements drop down menu there is an option to "change to OBS Studio" that should temporarily disable the streamelements plugin, (i'm not 100% sure that is what it does but it could fix something) try that and see if it helps

after a rename also make sure to Please logout of StreamElements at https://streamelements.com/logout and then login again to your account

the logout will trigger a 'refresh' and should gather the correct name
if it's still there in user management and you're unable to delete it from that menu, let us know
I'd say that after you attempt to delete it, wait for max 30 minutes and @ me here again if it's still there

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Hi there, I need help setting up loyalty sound redemptions. I have followed 2 tutorials verbatim but there is something going wrong in the process. I took a short 2min video of what I did I can share somehow if someone needs to see it.

However, the one thing I've noticed on my screen that DOES differ from others is that my sound bites in the store after uploading do NOT show up with the play symbol, it shows up with some other kind of symbol. I thought nothing of it since when I click it, it plays for me, I thought just a glitch -- but the !redeem soundbite isn't working despite the following steps:

Going to loyalty store (which is enabled) and setting up the sound bite, uploading the sound bite (either .wav or .mp3 I tried both and neither work), going and creating a blank overlay and getting the URL and uploading it into STREAMLABS OBS with the Browser Source, typing into the chat the respective !redeem soundbite and nothing works. Anyway that is the theory I have is something is going wrong somewhere, the fact there is no play symbol instead just this (pic) may lead is somewhere....

Thanks for your help anyway, its frustrating to follow tutorials verbatim and it not work lol. Sorry if I am not posting this in the right spot I am very new here.

The sound alerts work when I upload and use them through Blerp, a thing ive been using for channel point rewards sound effects. But I wanted to try the !redeem soundeffects and when I set it up through there following the steps, it does not work. The only thing ive noticed different is that when uploaded the play button isnt present its that weird block.

Example (the tutorial left hand, my screen right hand)

the overlay URL is created, its in the browser source, the audio clips do work when clicked on and work in other extensions. But they do not work when I type !redeem soundscode

If it helps, I can show you the short clip of how I set it up (using the tutorial) and showing it doesn't work. It would be a youtube link however to an unlisted video. If you want/need it please let me know I thought visuals might make this easier.
