The distributor of the channel told me that if the display name is Japanese, the points will not be awarded correctly unless the display is changed to English. When I tried to change the display name to English, I could not change it due to an error, but I was able to change the user name, so I made the user name and display name the same. It seems that points are given correctly after changing the display name, but I am in trouble because the points that were missing before changing the display name are not reflected.

I'm using the translation function, so I'm sorry if the text is strange.

It's up to the viewers if they want to "advertise" their sub streak, if they don't want to, it's not tracked by bots.
Bots can only see what's in chat unfortunately.

It's the in-built SE widget that automatically announces these things. Is there a user setting to block that that people could have turned on by a mistake?

Prime Gaming (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For Prime Gaming, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. After changing the username, the rename was successful. If the display name remains in Japanese, points for subscription distribution will not be given, and past points will not be added after renaming, but from now on, points by subscription will be given correctly. Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I got a custom widget that I wrote that includes a fade-in and fade-out animation which I implemented using css + javascript, I am trying to have a gap where the animation can fade-out and end without the next queued event's animation starting, but it seems that before it fully fades-out the next queued event is fired and it already restarts the animation.
Using the widgetDuration property and increasing it doesn't seem to help

fade-in takes 1 second, in the javascript code I schedule for the fade-out animation to start after 5 seconds (so that is 4 seconds after the animation finished fading-in), then a 1 second fade-out animation with a 1 second delay is executed (so a total of 7 seconds for the whole animation, have set the widgetDuration to 7 or greater values) but seems that queuing multiple events will cut-off the fade-out and cause a reset still

Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

Hi team, it seems that the overlay we are using occasionally causes the whole audio on the stream to clip when there is a high number of alerts (even though there are no audio flags linked with the overlay alerts). I can post a link to an example if you need to see more. Thanks. Channel is NathanCavaleri. The audio for the browser layer for the overlay in OBS is completely muted.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.

I am not sure if this is for obslive or twitch helpdesk but I will ask here. I have always had to use stream labs for sub alerts since my stream elements sub alert always doubles whenever I recieve a new/re sub. If I re-play the notification, thats the only time it doesnt double. Follows, Raids, and every other alert work great and doesn't double. This is why I have been so confused for months on wtf it is. It's not browser, its not a different program going off and doing the same alert, it straight up just doubles the sound ONLY for a fresh alert/sub. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be super appreciated

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

2. In the Target field, add the following to the very end: --remote-debugging-port=40404 (don't forget to add a space before the current path)
3. Open OBS (or restart if it was open)
4. Open your web browser and type in: localhost:40404
5. Click on StreamElements - Activity feed
6. Navigate to the Console tab
7. Type the following into the console and hit enter: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration()
8. Try setting the custom bot name
9. Remove the additional flag in step 2 from your shortcut properties.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

I’m having an odd issue. Using the alert box in the stream elements overlay, I get host alerts whenever someone raids and then automatically hosts. However, if someone just hosts, I get no such alert. If I have a browser source for a labs host alert; it will show either time. Anyone else have this issue?

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Thanks. Normally I wouldn’t mind but a rather large streamer jumped in and added a host even tho he was offline and it would have been nice to acknowledge that. For what it’s worth the Labs alert always says “1 viewer” whenever that channel is offline and just adding a host so I’m not sure why SE sees it as zero? But thank you for the explanation.

The streamelements web page and/or activity feed has started consuming 10%+ of my GPU, and it's been really bothering me since it's dropping my framerate in games, any idea what could be causing this?

For those curious - the answer to my question above is as follows:
1920x1080 videos not rendering in a 1920x1080 alert box -> The problem came from the Layout setting of the layers. The default is either column or row which was compressing the file as an "image" in window.
Changing the layout setting to text over image put the video file in the full resolution.

Hey all, having some issues recently. It look as though all my game play is on high contrast and I get really low FPS. Only thing I can think of is that I bought new monitors but not sure how to fix it regardless. Any advice?

I am a streamer that read the influencer agreement. In it states "All Content must remain live and publicly accessible on each account to which it is posted for at least 60 days after posting." Streamer only get 60 days if they are prime or partners. Does that mean the regular streamers will not be able to complete the campaigns?

Hello I have been having issues with some of my alerts not going off at times Hosts and Raids. I see them happen in OBS chat while live but I dont see them in my streamelements activity log

In my StreamElements overlay / web sources, all of the audio gets really stuttery and broken eventually. The rest of my audio is fine. The temporary fix is to delete the web cache folder in OBS, but is there a permanent solution? I've already had to do it three times now, so I'm hoping to not have to do it again.

Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Good day, I'm currently having issues with streaming on Twitch after changing my password recently on my Twitch account. I have already reconnected my Twitch account on OBS but when I click "Start Streaming" a pop-up "Start Streaming to Facebook" appears even though I selected Twitch on my OBS settings.

i have a weird problem, So my kappagen doesnt display my emotes the first time that you enter them into chat but if you immediately enter it again, it will show up properly. And then if you dont use that emote for a minute, you have to enter it twice, again, to get it to work.

ive now come to realize that it has something to do with the Bounce option

So 2 things happen - The command triggers a Overlay - which works. But it doesn't trigger the Custom command - I get no responce. Other mods (hooman Mods) it works for - I think your onto something if its a Bot-on-Bot issue.
