Hi - A quick issue that I hope someone can help with?

I have an issue in the alert box where all alerts can be heard fine by the stream, apart from a single audio sample I have uploaded and applied to a raid alert. If I test it by generating an event, I can hear it OK. I can also hear it when I get raided, its just that my viewers cant? Its an ongoing problem.

Hi there, I'm fairly new to all of this but am having a bot of an issue setting up some custom alerts. I have created a new overlay, added the AlertBox widget and uploaded custom video to each of the alert types. When emulating the different events the custom videos are only displaying for some of the events. For example my custom video will work on follow but not subscriber. Any help would be appreciated.

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Not really. Our donation goal and other widgets are designed to count how much is collected, not how much is left until XYZ.

You can have the goal with 400/600 pretty much or a bar that shows you 400/600 and the %. To show how much is left, you would need to create the widget yourself as a custom widget.

If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.

Quick question regarding widgets and labels (Stream Elements latest subscriber ticker for example). I want to stream to Twitch and YT using restream. The pop alerts are easy to have for both platforms but things like eventlists and tickers are more complex. Is the only way to do it is to have an event list for YT and one for Twitch? If I wanted to have labels represent each platform, I guess I would have to set them up on both YT and Twitch and just put them in different places? Someone has told me streamelements lets you somehow merge accounts. I was wondering if there was something similar in SE?

Oh ok thank you. I am offline now, the user i tried it with has been there last stream, althought my leaderboard (for loyalty points i think you mean) is empty. I disabled all the points commands but i kept the loyalty system and the watchtime command, so that the watchtime could indeed work. But now i see that keeping the loyalty system on didn't add any points (to me at least)

Now i want to enable the loyalty system so that viewers can earn this currency only by watching, no minigames, so that they can spend it on goodies for one another

@marble minnow If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

From what we see, integration between our overlays and GameCaster isn't possible. We can't be 100% sure, we only looked into it for a few minutes.

I recommend you try to create this in OBS.Live, then try to see if you can recreate it in GC.

Hi - A quick issue that I hope someone can help with?

I have an issue in the alert box where all alerts can be heard fine by the stream, apart from a single audio sample I have uploaded and applied to a raid alert. If I test it by generating an event, I can hear it OK. I can also hear it when I get raided, its just that my viewers cant? Its an ongoing problem.

I've heard that resetting webhooks can solve this?

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hello 🙂 ! I'm using a custom command connected to a Stream Store module that just show something on the screen when viewers write !sr to song request me (just dance video game). I would like to have their requests in a queue system so that I can easily follow in the good order the requests ! Right now people can use !sr , it appears on the chat and on the overlay that someone asked for a song (using stream perk widget) but I don't know how to connect that to a queue system leaderboard. I re didi with my edit and i set to 1920x1080 the picture and uploaded it to the SE editor i drag it to all the sides that i can work on and if i hit save i still have the black lines of nothing in OBS. Mh, not much else comes to my mind. The bot has no way to prevent usernames to be used in chat outside of banning those etc.

The only solution we have that is 100% functional is the botdebug one:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Hi! Every time I'm streaming I get alerts for hosts and raids, but my follower alerts don't show up in the overlays or in the OBS streamlabs activity feed. I've tried reconnecting my accounts, setting overlays to 1920x1080. When I emulate a follow alert that works on my stream, but if someone actually follows it doesn't show up. It looks like my session data in streamelements isn't reflecting my new followers either? But the session data shows people who have raided me, which makes me think it's not an issue between my account and streamelements. I'm not sure how else to troubleshoot here

@mellow star If you are not hearing your alerts and/or Media Request, you are most likely using the Control Audio via OBS option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

Hi just posting this again I think it was missed: Every time I'm streaming I get alerts for hosts and raids, but my follower alerts don't show up in the overlays or in the OBS streamlabs activity feed. I've tried reconnecting my accounts, setting overlays to 1920x1080. When I emulate a follow alert that works on my stream, but if someone actually follows it doesn't show up. It looks like my session data in streamelements isn't reflecting my new followers either? But the session data shows people who have raided me, which makes me think it's not an issue between my account and streamelements. I'm not sure how else to troubleshoot here

So I have a question about one of my overlays. I have my subgoals and follower goals, but my follower goal is a bit smaller than my actual followers and then my subgoal isn't resetting when people resub so it just keeps adding to the number. Is there a way to fix these numbers? Did i set something up wrong?

• Merging accounts only allows faster ways to switch between accounts
• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts

• from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
• from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

@burnt gale If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

@lament blade If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification.
Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction.
There is a posibility that the tip may have been sent as an eCheque/eCheck - these tips can take from 7 up to 21+ days to show up on our side. Tippers can usually cancel these.
If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money
