Yes once you have a API that can pull a dynamic link we can assist from there, but the dynamic link itself is a discord thing, which we dont tend to keep track off, hence me directing you to the support to see if they even offer that as a possible function.

I know BOTS can make dynamic links so there a good chance of it being a thing, but you would need a API link to pull it from and asking discord support is ya best bet for that chief

@candid ravine If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@rose gale If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I have a question regarding the usage of certain commands. Like I have an idea that when people in the stream are being bad, the get send to the detention corner. so I make a command to add a user in the detention corner, like !command add !detention -ul=moderator /me Puts $(touser) in the detention Corner, think of your actions. this will show me the person I put in it. so there is now a user in my command line. now I want people in the chat to use a command like !detentioncorner to see who is in the detention corner. so it will show that user that was just added. but how can I make it so a user gets send over to another command line? And also if more then one people gets send to it, it will not overwrite the previous one?

I just recently added in a new command, but tried it in my offline chat, but it didn't seem to work. All my other commands work. I did set it to both offline, and online usage. I have also tried making the bot leave and rejoin my channel.

Hi there! I'm having trouble with my alert box widget. I would like the text to be over the image, however when I test the follow alert, only the image shows up. The text is visible when it's placed underneath or next to the image, but not on top. Anything would be super helpful!

2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.

Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+.

@rare tendon 10 minutes of watch time is given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled to watch time to work properly.
There is no direct link between watch time and all-time points.
It canโ€™t be calculated from the number of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in the chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user do not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Hello there guys,

I am having some troubles with my alerts. Every other alert seems to work just fine but for some reason, no matter what i do (ive deleted and remade the alerts more than once) My Donation alert never shows up on screen. ALL other alerts pop like normal.

I honestly have no idea how to fix it, I was wondering if there was any support on the back end that might be able to assist me with this.

Also not sure if this is the right area to post, I was looking for a "Streamelements help" section, so apologies if this is wrong.

I've been getting some considerable tips lately and they just havent been showing up which sucks for the tipper.

To reset goals:

  • from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
  • from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

Hey there! I'm new to the streamelements overlay page and this may sound kind of a stupid question, but here I go. I was wondering how is it possible to add an animated webcam frame into my overlay. I thought it would be through +>static/custom>video (my frame is .avi format), but it doesn't seem to accept any video format other than .webm (which doesn't work with transparencies). If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

@slim dirge If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
  2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
  3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

So apparently, my streamelements activity feed does not get any alerts of recent followers on Twitch (doesn't get Youtube subscribers either) but any other alert like Subs, Donations, bits, hosts..
Twitch DOES recognize the follow but seems to not pass it to streamelements and I have no idea why.

I have searched google and all my settings at streamelements and Twitch and have no idea how to fix it.

I have a question about something that happens sometimes with OBS Live. Sometimes during my streams, OBS Live somehow refreshes and reloads my chat, in turn it cancels out the custom bot. Usually the fix for it is to restart OBS but I don't really want to do that halfway through my stream and have a split up VOD. So I switch off the custom bot and then the chat bot is Stream Elements instead of my custom bot. I'd like to know if there is another fix for this that would not interrupt my stream. Please.

@frank ember If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

  1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
  2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
  3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
  4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
  5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
  6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

  • from the Overlay Editor > Session data on top right (monitor symbol) > Goals tab > reset progress of desired goal
  • from the Dashboard > Activity feed on the left > Widget data on the right > Goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.
