I'm not too sure how to fix it. When I delete the !lurk custom command again and test it in his chat, the top message still pops up, even with no custom command present in his streamelements. This has never happened in anyone's stream whom I've helped, so it is a weird phenomenon.

The media request widget is only for showing on stream. If you do not use it and do not use the "show on stream" button, then it's just considered desktop audio.

You need to keep in mind that timers will trigger only once the 2 requirements are meet, line chat and intervals, your timers right now have between 150 and 424 lines and the interval is set to 20 and 51 minutes online

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

I'm a mod in a streamers chat and we're trying to get his !watchtime command to work. For some reason it says 0 secs even though loyalty is on and the watchtime command is on. Anyone have a fix?

10 minutes of watch time is given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled to watch time to work properly.
There is no direct link between watch time and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the number of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in the chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user do not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

So I've got a support question, I spent about 2 hours on researching this last night and managed to figure out if I have ${redeem item} in any response for a custom command I can NOT get the command to say anything with the bot. I tried several work arounds including linking multiple custom commands through regex queries and keywords to try to get the bot to trigger another command, but no luck. I've managed to get this to work on my own by creating a custom python script to connect to my bot account and make it issues the chat commands while SE handles the sounds, but this is a bit to cumbersome. If this isn't currently possible is there a plan to add this in the future. If I understand correctly the way the response calls the "!redeem item" command through ${redeem item} it auto-ends the response so no message gets printed, that being said would it be possible to separate the redeem call from the response or possibly add the option to have Multiple responses

Note: Goal widgets (progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you lose followers/subs.

If I understand what streamelements is correctly it appears to be a direct competitor to streamlabs, one which I prefer way more and would like to stick with, but I don't understand why this isn't even being considered as an addition or update...I know you owe me NO explanation, but coming from another dev who definitely respects the process and decision making behind certain applications and implementations I am Extremely curious

@elfin monolith Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

hi! I have an issue with item redeption. So I have a couple items in the SE Store that play a sound and have an alert display image. In order to simplify the redeeming process I created custom commands. So, for example, !hola is {$redeem hola} and thats easier than !redeem hola.

The problem comes when a viewer uses !hola it plays the sound twice. The streamelements tab is silenced or closed, the twitch tab is also silenced. The sound comes twice from OBS (I have and elgato Wave1 and so I see through the WaveLink software where the sound comes from).

Any idea why this happens? Does the !hola command call the item redeption two times? Thanks in advanced

I got an Issue regarding StreamElements in OBS.. for some reason I doesn't let the 'activity feed' connect with my main account again in OBS and keeps auto logging into my second twitch channel that i just recently connected it with but want to disconnect again. @frank prawn Exactly. I'm at work right now, but if I can't figure out what I may be doing wrong on my end I'll grab some screen shots when I get home. So far as I can tell the colors aren't similar, a pretty dark purple instead of blue, for example.

There is a main text and a secondary text setting. maybe you got the wrong one.

Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. Firefox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins is blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in an incognito tab.

TL;DR; Can we add browser sources directly to the streamelements overlay, instead of adding it to OBS?

So, I'm helping some streamers migrate their stuff to SE, and one of the things we are doing is migrating all the overlays in each scene to one just one streamelements overlay per scene (so that in obs we just add the one SE overlay and the webcam, without having to worry about positioning all the different overlay items). Problem is, we do have some custom streamlabs overlays that we do not have time at the moment to port to streamelements, along with other third party overlays that we cannot port at all (we add them today as browser sources to obs), so we just wanted to keep using them, but to keep the ease of use, we didn't want to add them as different browser sources anymore, we just wanted to add them to the streamelements overlay directly. Is that possible? I'm a developer, so I could get my hands dirty with custom widgets trying to load the url there, but i tested with iframes and redirects, and none of it worked...

So what I am getting at @wary halo is that there is a difference between 'optimized' and blatantly jacked up. Having formatting slightly off or some things off screen when the window is between a range of various sizes or even looking funky is one thing....Unusable is another.

I appreciate any help, attempt at help, or insight. In the meantime I will attempt to find a hack but if not I will move to some other service due to ethical reasons why I choose firefox over chrome or edge browsers.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

On a test alert its fine, but when using activity feed to trigger an alert it still pops up

its this text that gets announced

and ONLY when someone gifts 1 sub, everything else is fine

@old glade Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.
