I also bought a overlay pack from a website but the alerts that I have chosen are a text over image deal, and I set up my follower one but when I tested it the video and audio was fine, but the text didn't appear.

@exotic rune 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does not affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

I'm looking at Subscriber (live all-time total), Subscriber points (live all-time total), or Subscriber (goal counter--but this one doesn't go down, only counts upwards).

Since sub points were taken out of their API, you're essentially just looking for sub count.

So Total subscribers, perhaps.

Or if you want a bar goal, you'll need to use the sub goal widget, but as you said, not directly tied to your total.

Otherwise, a custom coded solution will be needed.

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I recently streamed and after a viewer donated, I did not hear or see my notification pop up and I didn't hear the donation message from the donation. I recently set up my notifications using stream elements and I imported it as a browser source into my streaming software. When I tested it using the emulate button on the editor it seemed to work. Does anybody know what I did wrong or what I can do to fix this?

• tried modding and unmodding manually

but what you are describing sounds mostly as internet stability issue

Streaming in general is very sensitive, so stability can affect the streaming of data, without you noticing your internet go down at all

the cause can be either along the route between you and the twitch server

or close to you like your router not able to handle the streaming of data anymore

I don't understand the timer system. I always have this problem on the stream and everyone notices it and doesn't like it either.
I put some intervals out of sync, but it always finds a way to send all the messages at once and so it spam.
I don't really like the number of lines, I deactivated it to try, if I put 10 minutes on one message and 15 minutes on the other, it will send the second message 5 minutes after the first one ( 10 mins + 5 mins to make 15 mins)
How do I fix this problem please?
I would like a message to be sent every 10 minutes for example and another one every 20 minutes and another one every 40 minutes ect.

I have the impression that everything is connected and nothing is separated, which is really a pity.

You can add more then 1 text in a timer and the timer will first say the first text and then when its time to trigger again, it will say the 2nd text.

When I go to emulate an Emote event with "Preview LIVE on stream" I don't see any emotes. I've also tried typing emotes in my Twitch chat and still nothing.

@mental ermine Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline

Note: If you see X channel has hosted you with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Just discovered the Community Gift option to prevent the alerts from replaying a bunch of times. I can't seem to find out why the variables are still the "regular" variables like a single sub. I noticed that {count} shows a number when using it, but I can't set a custom count for testing in custom subscriber alert testing. But I'm assuming that this means {count} works. Is count the way to detect how many were given?

@hazy agate Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card, PS4 remote play or Xbox companion app and a PC with OBS in order to have overlays over your console gameplay.

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@gritty jay If your commands recently stopped working and you're using OBS.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In OBS.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/sO7fWOX.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again
