Cheer tokens will use the cheermote used. The emulation uses random cheermotes. When real cheers come in, if they're "default" cheers, they'll use your carrots. Otherwise, they'll be based on the cheermote.

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

hello, is there any way to create a command that gives me 4 random words from a predefined list as an output? i tried to create such a command by using the ${random.pick} variable. My problem is that the list of words i need to write into the ${random.pick} is simply too long to fit it into the 500 letters textbox. Is there maybe a way to save every word from my list into a variable and then use the random number generator 4 times to display 4 random words? i'm out of ideas

G'day, just having an issue with subs not showing in recent events. I got multiple during a stream and due to them not showing in recent events they don't show up as notifications. I did change my name before the stream started, however even now after logging in and out of the streamelements website, the recent events will not show the subs

So, on the OBS you will need to set the overlay resolution (screen size), like the Support AI answered you above.

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@gilded pond 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

@gusty warren If you are not hearing your Alerts and/or Media request, you are most likely using the "Control Audio via OBS" option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

Its my understanding this matches up with the twitch category, which I filled out. Is that not the case? It still says NOTHING when the message barfs into the chat. The labels for sub total and goals are being used by every day we have to try to reset them because they are not working. @silk mist We're not affiliated with Twitch and OBS itself doesn't have any servers so as long as Twitch themselves don't have problems and you're not using OBS.Live, it should work just fine

You can test Alerts via the Emulate bell on the lower left side of the Overlay Editor. Simply go to your Dashboard -> My Overlays -> Pencil/edit button on the overlay. Make sure the "Preview LIVE on stream" option is on to see the alert in OBS/Xsplit https://streamable.com/vtulg9

To add your overlays to OBS, add a new browser source in your scene. Paste your overlay URL in the browser source properties, set the dimensions to 1920x1080 (unless you changed them on the website), and ☑ “Shutdown source when not visible” https://youtu.be/KDvLynUqXI4

@errant imp hey there! you were helping me with SE chat showing up twice in chat before the outage. I tried parting the bot from my channel and using a command. No response. I added it back to the channel and it's still posting twice. Turns out it was Ground Control. Had to close it and reopen it to get it to stop posting twice. Thanks for your help earlier!

Seems like Twitch is having problems as other people are also reporting issues with the chat. For me it was also buggy a few minutes ago but it fixed itself

@weary fox 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

@ionic kelp WhenI try to preview the overlay it just loads a few parts of the overlay, like text, but it foesnt show the animated part

OBS -> Settings -> Advanced -> Scroll down -> enable or disable Hardware Acceleration, depending on its current state. (This does not apply for OBS on Mac)
