@sand geyser Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Not sure why but since sometime last week the StreamElements countdown timer widget I had setup just stopped working. I tried re-adding a fresh one but it still doesn't show the countdown numbers. It does however show the message when it's supposed to be done with the count down if that option is enabled. I've tried changing font and font size etc but still nothing.
Anyone else having issues with the countdown widget?

But yeah, when I first add a new countdown timer widget now nothing is set in Message settings, so at first it won't show any countdown. I thought originally by default it had something there.

🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@slow brook Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Well SE if linked to your Twitch and if Twitch isn't showing you as online, SE won't see it either. One thing you can try and is a complete and utter relog to refresh any tokens and I mean top to bottom.

For whatever reason, I can not get my overlays or scenes to work. I will put them into OBS (as a browser source, like I'm supposed to, right?), but they will be the wrong size or cropped weird (I can send phots if you'd like). I have experimented with changing the OBS base canvas size, output resolution, changing the properties of the overlay in streamelements.com (when you click the 3 dots, there's an option that says "properties") and I have tried all of the different sizes/resolutions and all different combinations. I've also tried doing a scene instead of my overlay, thinking maybe just my overlay was acting out, but I got the same problem. Also, when I add the browser source in OBS I do put in the correct size. I spent a lot of time editing the overlays and scenes to make them super cool but now they won't work...

I have three versions of my overlay added to OBS (two are "muted" except not mute, its like, invisible, idk what that word is rn): 1440x900 (the resolution of my monitor), 1920x1080, and 1280x720 but none of them fit properly. The default alerts for bits apparently have changed to something different for Stream Elements. I am not sure how to revert them back to what I see like on Stream Labs for example. Is there a step I am missing?

10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Is there a way to create a bot to respond to users who have directed a message @lament blade? For example - we have a Mod that tends to get annoyed with the Stream Elements when he starts getting tired. So when he says “FU @lament blade” I would like to have a @lament blade bot that responds with “No, FU @agile spear”

That extension isn't StreamElements, it is just a Twitch extension/browser source in OBS.

Whoops, typo. Fixed with bold but yes, it is just a browser source you add to your OBS.

I used to use it but found it notoriously unreliable. Bit alert variations are an alternative and those you build within the overlay editor.

Only downside is you can't have multiple sounds for the same amount unless you're OK with it being random. I use offsets. 98, 99, 101, 102, etc...

It saves the clip and posts it in chat.

You were looking at his replay widget section which is different. Try the link I sent you and you'll be good.

Once you click on the authorization link on that page, it'll give you exactly what the command should be. Paste that into your bot commands and voila.

I am having issues with the Stream Elements Alert Box. I have uploaded a gif image and the text is right under it. The problem is when I adjust the margins of the text it does not move. I have logged out of Stream Elements and tried a different browser but it made no difference.

@cursive trench You can test Alerts via the Emulate bell on the lower left side of the Overlay Editor. Simply go to your Dashboard -> My Overlays -> Pencil/edit button on the overlay. Make sure the "Preview LIVE on stream" option is on to see the alert in OBS/Xsplit https://streamable.com/vtulg9
