Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

hello everyone, it seems like I can't figure something out with my Donations alerts. I tried creating donations variations ( 20€+ 50€+ and 100€+ ) but all the sounds are double, if somesome send a donation 50€+ for example, plays the correct animation but with double alert sound ( 50€+ and 20€+ ). I only created different variation for each, and I cancelled the "main" alert and still no luck. any ideas?

Hey Guys, i just gifted my Streamelements Bot a Subcription Tier 1 to give the Bot all my Emotes, unfortnately it just writes the Text and doesnt show the emotes, even when i edited them as Chat Answers for specific triggers. Somebody knows how to workaround let the bot do my Channel Emotes instead of just the Text that the emote uses ? I used upper and lowercase exactly as it should

  Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

So I want to create something like a "tip war" you'd see in a bar. The viewers could vote on different things with their cheers. The final thing wont be gaming related, but for the sake of this example, let's say they can choose between fortnite, pubg and apex. Somebody sends 100 bits with the message: "pubg", and pubg gets 100 votes. I'd like to have some kind of graphical representation, like a graph or something, but even the sum of bits that had the same message as a number is great. Do you think this can be done?

Hello there is a deal breaking issue with SE platform. Both in twitch and youtube. Sometimes when you stream and you get a donation it won't pop up. Not just the alert, but it won't even show in the dashboard, like it never happend. But when you go on your email or paypal you can see that you actually received money. It happens to me alot and I'm getting refunds because of it. I asked few streamers I know and they say that they have the same problem with Stream Elements.

We are a passthrough for paypal's payment gateway. If your tips are not showing up in the dashboard than that would mean there is an issue with your account and you need to check with PayPal as to why you are not getting tips shown in your paypal account

@zenith widget I’m new to StreamElements and linked my YouTube, Mixer, and Twitch accounts (I use restream) however twitch does not come up as an available option under my channel drop downs as a linked channel but when I go to add the channel I receive a notice that the channel is already been linked to my account. And the only way for me to access my Twitch channel via stream elements is to logout and then log back in just under twitch, and under my Twitch login it does not show my linked Mixer and YouTube accounts. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to resolve this. Any help is greatly appreciated

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

@upper agate Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. @orchid cloud Consoles do not have native support for overlays. You would need a capture card and a PC with OBS in order to have Overlays over your console gameplay.

I just now set it up without the text delay because the freezing of the video looked kinda bad obviously

That sounds like it's delaying longer than the video length itself. If the video stops at 3 seconds but the text is on screen for 5, for example, the video would just freeze and wait.

The streamer was recently partnered and her emote prefix did change if that helps. Is there something I need to to to get emotes to display again from the bot commands?

It won't auto update. If the old prefix was streamKappa, that's how it is written in the command so they need to be changed to new prefix newKappa

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

windows manage devices by titling them in the audio preferences, if u right click the volume icon in the icons bar it should have a advanced configs, there u can choose what is your default device

Oh yea I figured that out, I was asking for a recommendation 😛 What would be better? Like, if I'm playing Spotify in my headset and thats what my audio capture is they will be able to hear it, which means it'll be hard to hear me?

the overlay is giving me the cpu overload by the looks of it

if you are using a animated overlay

then u hit the same problem as me

had to change to another overlay as animated ones are VERY laggy

was using 100% of my CPU

also GIF's seams to have 0 impact, but animated overlays are common to be in webm, that maybe is the problem, knowing that is important because not everything that moves will lag the hell out

but just keep distance from "High Res Animated Stuff"

like full screen moving overlays

the only workarround to this is to have a stream dedicated PC...

not at all, as i said just check if the animation is made in webm and if its size is too large i mean the resolution

if its the size of the screen then it will lag a lot

i didn't try to convert the webm to GiF to troubleshoot this

but is a worth shot if u really care

also u can download the webm and try using it directly in OBS to see if it runs better

sorry for not trying these steps when i faced this problem in the past, but i made a static overlay much more beatiful then the animated one XD

When I play media request from tip on my iPhone , it plays about 50sec and has error. So I should refresh the page. It has happened last 10days. Any solution?

Hello, for my alerts, if someone follows, then the next day the unfollow and follow again, the follow alert shows up yet again. I have some viewers who've done this like 5 times so far and it showed up every time. Is there a way to prevent this? Maybe I missed a setting somewhere? If possible, I would not block all of their alerts entirely through the tipping moderation settings.
