@slender prism it may be (if you set it to a number key) that you need number-lock on or off as that counts as two separate inputs for one number pad key

So effectively you have 18 hotkeys as well as the surrounding keys

But I would be careful of 0 though as when the Number Lock is off it's an INS/Insert key which means that you type over letters instead of between them

@past cobalt if you use obs.live, refreshing the widget window usually fixes that for me. If not, I'd highly suggest getting it because it happens way less with OBS.live than the browser version. With the browser it can be a matter of disconnecting or refreshing the page sometimes

@heady nest Due to a recent change from Twitch API, these features are affected by the change:

• Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
  We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
  OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

trying to get kappagen to work - emulating a sub, donation, etc event triggers the emotesplosions, so that's good. I can't get the chat emotes to show up on my slobs preview, however emulating the emotes works on the widget editing page on streamelements.com

Building your own by going to a fabric store and getting some decent quality polyester or something that won't wrinkle is the best option for budgets imo

@nova marsh If you are not hearing your Alerts and/or Media request, you are most likely using the "Control Audio via OBS" option in your browser source properties.
To make sure you hear the alerts and the stream also hears them, follow along the screenshot bellow.

Does someone use Stream Shop redeem overlay? I have different Sounds in my Streamshop and none of them can be redeemed over chat command, the overlay also dont show anything. • All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

@latent ruin There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Well, okay. I'll try. So. I want TTS only on my donation/tip alert. So I uploaded a gif, which has a text on it. Like "thanks for the donation".

Other than that I chose the 3rd layout. After I've set my alert message: "{name} tipped {amount} {currency} money!"

When I push emulate right now, it reads up both the alert message, and both the secondary message (wake up every day for a meme or something), if I add a "{message}" into the alert message, the message shows up on the alert, below my gif, however if it's not inside, then it doesn't show, only the normal alert message - "{name} tipped {amount} {currency} money!" - but after the tts still manages to read that quote about dank memes, but it doesn't seem to show up on the alert screen.

I hope I pinpointed something out to you... 😄

(And yeah, on the first version, it reads up the quote twice, there was something like it was also shown written down twice below the gif recently, I made it extremely small, cuz I couldn't remove it, and it looked ugly, so yeah that was the only way I could get rid of it.) Maybe that's the problem?

(Oh wait, maybe these "secondary text settings" is what I need to set up "properly" so... XD I made a mistake with it.. Sorry I'm fairly new, and the template for me is kind of dizzy, can't really find everything easily, gotta get used to it I guess)

I was trying to set up unique video/audio for different variations of sub alerts. one for tier 1, 2, 3, prime, and gifted subs. But when I emulate a gifted sub, for example, all of the sub alerts trigger. Any one able to provide some assistance?

Well, lets try it once again I guess. I have uploaded many soundeffects to the store of streamelements. Yes Im using the store as a overlay in my obs. The first soundeffect works, we hear the sound, we get the messages, user losing points, everything gucci. But then all of a sudden it stops working, users still losing points, we still get the chat message but we CANT hear the soundeffects anymore

Hi, just giving some feedback on something that should probably be fixed... When browsing the Custom Commands section you can click on the "Next Page" button, however as soon you type in the filter, the buttons are greyed out. The only solution is to clear the filter, press Next Page and then reapply the filter to get to the 2nd page. Quite annoying so hopefully it can be fixed in the future. 🙂

I even contemplated having it send a request to an API endpoint that stores the value, and then the other command pulls that value, but that seems a bit of a pain

So i am live & it just keeps naming my bot streamelements & some things wont work unless its got my name so I need to fix this

That should be a setting in OBS.Live where you edit the bot name, no?

Although I can't seem to remember where the setting is, but you have to login with the twitch account that you want the bot to be named..

You can give it your own name if I recall, that should hold it as the one name and fix any issues from things not working without your name.

How would I create a command that includes the text following the command in the response?
For example: !hug @testuser
Bot Response: @testuser has been hugged!

You can make changes to custom commands in chat with !command add/remove/edit/options/show Valid flags for !cmd options are: -enable -disable -cd (number) -usercd (number) -cost (number) -level (number) -type (say, whisper or reply) -count (number). --- Example: !cmd options twitter -usercd 60 -type reply -level 250

If you get a raid the alerts will last a while

But it doesn't skip any if that's the concern

Yea I thought so, I have got new animations and of course the webcam animation takes 60 seconds to finish so the next alert takes a while to play...
