@rough spade Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

I have a question about Kappagen: I want to enable Subscriber Only use of on-screen chat emotes (via Kappagen). This appears to work fine for Tier 1 subs, but it does not work with my Tier 3. If I uncheck "Subscribers only", all emotes show up (including those selected by my T3), but I don't want everyone's emotes to show. I just want subs to have access to this feature, but I want all subs to access it not just T1. Does Kappagen not recognize T2-T3 subs? Or am I missing something? Help would be much appreciated. @glad flint There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Hey, I'm having an issue inside the StreamElements overlay. I'm trying to use a custom font that is installed on my PC, but following all guides I have found doesn't work. I'm trying to change the Font of the Chatbox to something I have installed on my PC, that'd be called: Nasalization, which I do have the Free Regular variant of.

How could I get this to work correctly? No matter how many times I set it to my custom font, it stays as Times New Roman.

Oh. It works, it just doesn't Show you that it works. I have found a very big bug.

You should restart Chrome/OBS when you install a new font, so they can refresh list of fonts.

Okay. That was strange. I think there was a bug but is has been completely resolved now. I did have this Font installed before I started even tinkering with the Overlay in StreamElements, so it only finding it now after Reinstalling the Font and restarting chrome is strange.

Well, then that may be a bug there. It seems to work fine with the Alert Box and all the alerts inside it, you can edit both Font, Text Stroke/Shadow and color. Just stroke and shadow for text doesn't want to work with the Hype Cup Text.

Hello, wondering if anyone can help - have some issues with alerts. Most of them seems to work fine but host alerts.
I can see on my OBS.Live chat that someone is hosting me, it works when I am emulating it on my overlays, but not the actual stream. Set '0' as the minimum required so (from my understating) all host events should come up? I stream on Twitch, but let me know if this is rather OBS issue and I should move there?

So let me see if I get it right - if someone is offline for few hours and is just hosted me, there is no way chat/alerts will notify viewers? For now the info in the chat is appearing only for people who raided me and hosted at the same time, alert is only for the raid bit.

Really sorry if its stupid, but I'm still very new into this, but I can see that my friends have alerts working even if I host them just for that '1 viewer' 🙏🏼

Our Dashboard and Overlay editor are Chromium Optimized. We strongly recommend using Chrome. Opera GX and the new Microsoft Edge Chromium might work closest to Chrome as its also Chromium built. FireFox also works, but some things might look a bit different or not work. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer with our Dashboard as it does not support functions.
If the website doesn’t work on chrome, be sure none of your plugins are blocking our website or clear your cookies. You can try if the website works in a incognito tab.

its not the size of the alertbox thats the issue, its the size of the overlay

the resolution is set to 1080p, but then when i hit edit the actual thing i s800x600. i dont get it man. this is so frustrating

Right now, my streamelements chatbot is using my twitch username. I'm trying to set it to the original StreamElements chatbot name, but I cannot find anything like that in Ground Control or obs.live, where should I be looking?

I have all of the requirements set up and should be able to change the bot name according to what is in the pinned messages.

In OBS.Live on the activity feed, click three lines on the top left then click stream settings and you'll see "Custom Bot Name" @patent bison

@grizzled plume Learning any new system you're unfamiliar with will always be frustrating at first but once you get there, it will have been worth it. Trust me on that, you're in greener pastures now. The browser source in OBS is set to match at 1080p, correct?

OK well that circles us back to the alertbox. You're going to have to size that correctly to get things to fit as they've been imported and how you want them to look so what I recommend, it making the size of the alertbox widget wider and going through your alerts and modifying them individually until you're at a point that you want.

Otherwise, you can use the zoom buttons on the bar at the bottom.

That will increase/decrease the size of your working space.

Regardless of your level of zoom, the overlay will be 1080p when you configure it in OBS.

What I think is happening based on what you've side is the line height/margins/text size settings are a bit messed up for your alerts @grizzled plume Assuming everything imported properly, it might seem like they're not there but they are and you just need to modify the settings.

oh also how do I actually change the custom bot name? the only options are StreamElements and my name. I can't give it an actual custom name though

OK so you're using the OBS.Live plugin, the same instructions I sent above work for you as well.

For your alert issue, you're going to have to go and verify the assets imported correctly and assuming they did you will then want to play around with line height & margins. You can set the margins to a base of 50 as a good starting points.

Under current bot name should be a drop down list which will show you an option to add an account for your bot name.

Currently renaming the bot fully works with OBS.Live.
