Hey, I have a question regarding a streamelements variable (it's for a streamer who's a friend, his username is Straikx). So rn I have a product on the shop fot a TTS. But instead of using the regular (!redeem tts (Exaple text here)) I want it to be shorter so I'm trying to use the variable in a custom command and do !tts ${redeem tts} (Example Text Here) and it seems to be buying the product but the problem I see is that its only doing a tts of the next word of the command.

For example if I do: !tts Hi im a bean.

The alert will only say: "Hi".

Or if I do: !tts Im hungry

The alert will only say: "Im".

Please help.

I was using geforce experience connected to my twitch and it was perfectly fine. after downloading obs it was fine. after connecting to streamelements and creating a source in obs i got that loop. please help me this is very inconvenient i tried uninstalling obs that didnt work i tried everything the only thing i cannot disconnect my twitch from streamelements wesite. i am supposed to meet up with ppl and learn about streaming tom and now my stream is all messed up even when streamming from geforce...

One thing I can assure you, connecting your twitch account to us, will not cause the echo/loop.
That is something on your end where you have the stream open somewhere and its not muted or your microphone settings are setup incorrectly. Might be possible if you are using OBS and w/e geforce for streaming is using to be making the feedback to each other.

• Merging accounts does not allow data sharing between accounts - different streaming platforms, different type of events
• Merging accounts allows duplicating/sharing overlays between the accounts
  If you understand the limitations of merging and want to proceed, please find the JWT tokens (!jwt) from both accounts you want to merge and you will be directed to DM them to a staff member.

@paper summit I was literally going to post the exact same question! I am also having the same issue. My other issue is with the Host alert. I stream using all SE Overlays and alerts as well as OBS Live. The last 2 days, no "Host" alerts are working, whether its the visual GIF I use or the sound file that plays. All Sounds are set at 100% in the alerts settings. I have been getting hosted and the only way I can tell is when my chat bot posts it. Otherwise I wouldn't have know. Follows, subs, tips etc all seem to work, however I have the same low volume on stream/loud-as-hell in my headphones issue that Dena has. Any advice team on how to fix this?

When someone with 0viewers (autohost) host me, the alert is missing, and also in OBS i havent got the event "XxUserxX host you"

@small inlet Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

Right now, at the start of every stream, I have to go into of the overlays ive made separately and into the widget to update my daily goal

Yes, that is normal. It'll only count up and if you want to reset every day, you've got to put in 0 before the next stream.

Ah, you'd do that in the settings of the actual widget within the overlay editor for that overlay and you'd have to do it in each individual overlay.

Hm, so for the text one, you could try using the "Total & All-Time Subscriber Count" and set it to session sub count like this:

@lament blade 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

I wanted to ask if stream elements charge for anything whilst streaming?

I recently developing my channel quite a bit this year after streaming casually for a long time (3-4 years?) and I’m normally quite busy working and neglected the channel development for a while.

I recently found out that I had subscribed to somthing on stream labs which was charging £5 every few months without me really realising until now, which is why I am planning to go elsewhere.

I noticed you have a merch shop and other things too. Does any of these things charge the streamer? I’m small atm and don’t know if my hobby/ effort will amount to much.

Also, I tried to import scenes from streamlabs to stream elements but it keeps failing when it comes to transferring my new scenes. I don’t know why. It transfers everything else.

Please help as this is a learning curve for me!

actually, one final thing that has been bugging me (before I sleep)...I noticed that when I was on streamlabs, notifications were popping off ie, new follower, new sub. which is great. But I checked on ground control and noticed that I have a new resub (a friend resubbed) but it never showed up on streamlabs (another reason why I am switching over). How can I change/ add alerts so that any alerts via stream elements comes through? I want to do it via PC locally (on the PC)

After that, my next question would be how to transfer the info I have on here ONTO stream elements website so that I can use it on the go if I ever had to?

HOwever, I can not update the widget unless I am on the stream elements site. • from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
  Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

@young sand Due to a recent change from Twitch API, these features are affected by the change:

• Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
  We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
  OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

@hollow dew Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

hi, is ground control not working? In ground control I'm missing Stream Settings, however in OBS Live's mini Ground Control the Stream Settings are there.

I'm not using OBS as I get better results with Radeon Relive but I'm still using Stream Elements and use ground control to change stream title on the fly

its weird the OBS live mini ground control only has stream settings in its menu however the stand alone version has activity feed, Stream Settings (no cog), media request and settings in its menu

hello. i have a problem using one of the static overlays.. yesterday i just started using streamelements and i chose between your overlays.. on the talking screed, even if it is static i have lots of dropped frames. in the past i had quite the same scene with camera video and lattest events section, but it worked fine, no drops.. the only difference is the chat which i use for the first time. is this the one who is making my stream to drop frames?

Hello, I have a quick question regarding a custom command and short command keywords. Somehow, since a few days ago, the bot doesn't react to a short word in the chat to activate a command, but will react on a second longer word/emote for this command. Does someone know the reason for this?
It also will not activate the command if the word isn't the only word in a message. A question mark after it, with space or without, does nothing.
Is that a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

Edit:
Found a solution/workaround.
Even on disabled commands if there is the same keyword present, this keyword will not work for triggering a specific command. I had to remove the keyword to resolve this issue.

Yes, one is for gifted subs and one is for community gift subs.

You can either gift a sub to a person directly or like 1 or 5 to random persons.

Hi streamelements. I want to impliment a text GDI+ on my stream. It is currently linked to streamlabs but I want to have stream elements version. Streamlabs missed a few alerts in the past but Stream Elements Ground control has everything.

Backstory:

I managed to import my streamlabs overlay to stream elements this morning, but on my local machine only. When I tried to import it via online, all the ratio aspects were out of wack. Now everything is proportioned BUT I can't impliment the correct widgets. What should I do?
