Hello - I am trying to add text only alerts for follow/sub etc. It seems like when I hit "clear video" the alert is not longer functioning. Is there a way to do this?

@full fable It is probably a size and spacing issue. Check the text settings.

And play around with the line height and such.

Deleting the graphic but keeping the default line height kind of messes with things. You'll need to adjust as needed depending on the size of your alert box.

In my experience, as soon as the video is deleted then the text shoots up because the graphic isn't in the way so you need to inch it back down.

Same thing happened to me once and that's how I fixed it.

Assuming your audio sources are set up correctly, you'll hear it.

Checking the box sends it to OBS and therefore stream when you're live.

WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

@prisma relic I don't understand what you meant by targeting the sub area. After looking at your example, I see that when I type "Total Subs: {amount}", I get a 0 to show up on the overlay. But not the total number of total subs. Here's how I have it right now, and which shows no data. Ignore the greyed out text. That's another layer underneath that is turned off.

Can someone help with proper set up for Media Rquest for an IRL stream with alerts/media playing through bluetooth speaker? Using OBS server, camera/LiveU, and a phone in companion mode.
Main issues with having the media request page open/active on the control phone is that sometimes connection drops without me knowing and the media request page no longer working unless I stop and go through all the steps of restarting it. Doesn't seem like I can put media request on the server, because then it won't play through the bluetooth speaker.

hello all. I'm having issues with my Twitch alerts, they are perfectly set up, account is connected. But they aren't popping up.
Side note: I am streaming on Twitch and Mixer (restream), I have an account on Streamelements for Mixer and Twitch (seperate accounts). In my overlays on my twitch account I have an alert overlay. I use that link in OBS.
I remade my alert overlay, but that is not helping either

2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste the link here.

(Note: If you do not see an obsproject.com URL, you will need to update OBS Studio to version 22+)

@abstract hemlock okay so, I've been using streamelements for about 2 years now, and finally making the switch over to the bot.. Used to use Fossabot.. There's a few things that I am tryna do with commands but can't figure it... I'm not able to customize default commands.. So for example, the !time command comes up in 24 hour style. There's no option to change it to 12 hour.. With !ball, I don't want the text where it says "the 8ball says" but then again that too doesn't allow me to customize it. Same thing goes for !followage.. Certain texts that I don't want in that command, no idea how to change it.. Looked everywhere online but couldn't figure it out.

• Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
  We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
  OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

Because what I seen it only access "YouTube" songs and other websites, but not things like winamp/foobar and so on ?

im not familiar with FooBar, but the bot could get any plain text that you can reach over internet

hmm oki, well FooBar is a modern version of "winamp, that is insanly customaziable, if u ever used Winamp I recomend FooBar.

oki, Ill go see if there are any plugins that uploads songnames to sites then in FooBar plugin directory.

That's not really close at all. I guess if I can learn the html css js to radial fill a circle with an image in the middle I could do it easily enough.
