i was thought its fixed when i open obs for 10 seconds 7,8 seconds there is no problem but after 20 seconds the problem again starts its so weird what can i do i tried everything for fix this can anybody help me? my problem: (im playing pubg and obs is open too but when im quick peeking, i mean pressing q very quickly or checking 6x scope my obs game capture gets seize ups,crashes but on my game screen looks there is no problem) and i tried all the bitrates,resulutions i think so the problem is not about the bitrates,resulutions and also my hardware and upload is enough for streaming too please help me :(

@feral pagoda I would recommend on using OBS then Wirecast. We are not familiar with that software to be able to troubleshoot it properly.

Hi there. Im trying to stream right now. Been streaming for almost 2 years with no issues. All the sudden when I hit Go Live it starts my stream but never makes it to twitch... Ive re put in channel key, signed in and out, restarted pc, tested connection, ran as admin on pc, still nothing.

@lament blade 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

@kind iron do you know who I should address, no one has responded to my issues with custombot - I finally found the activity feed on obs.live, stream settings, custom bot, activated fuzzyjbot (that's my custom bot), saved (albeit the link for test message never lit up) MULTIPLE times, but still no luck.
The tip settings, and 2 other items on check list were checked, but still didn't work
Do you have to be live, in order for the custom bot to show up?

3) Open your browser and type in "localhost:40404"

7) Try setting the custom bot name

@lament blade There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security
WARNING: In submitting a closure request you will delete both linked accounts and loose all data from both accounts. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data(tips, subs, etc). You can still relogin with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Hi! I'm having a problem with the MEDIA REQUEST function: I use it to show the music that the people request in my chat. Later, I comment this music. The thing is this music is ALWAYS played in a double way: it sound two times, with an eternal "delay" or "echo". I imagine this is because it sounds in OBS and in the overlay AT THE SAME TIME, but I can do anything to change it: if the volume of the player goes down, it goes down for the first reproduction and it "echo".

None of the elements in my overlay are working in my OBS browser source only.

In the Browser source settings, it is working. Same in the editor and with the direct URL link.

Steps taken:

  • browser source cache cleared
  • overlays saved

This issue started when I disabled all of my alerts in preparation for an important stream. After switching those settings back, saving the overlay, and refreshing the cache, none of the elements in the overlay (including the overlay) are showing up.

hello, i am having issues with streaming actual gameplay, specifically on destiny 2. I have the same settings that i have for the other games i stream and those work fine with the game capture but with d2 game capture wont show the gameplay and no audio comes through and if it does its very low eventhough i have all my volume settings as high as possible

Destiny does not allow game capture, they opted out of it. so you would need to use screen or window capture for that game.

so I'm setting up a !lurk command with a few random responses, and the text reads thus: ${random.pick '${user} is off petting cats!' '${user} is taking a catnap! Do not disturb!' '${user} is mesmerized by cat toe beans!' } But for the last possibility, when that comes up, the command calls a previous, typo'd version of the last possibility, where the user variable was typed wrong. How do I fix this?

Hello everyone!

I've been using the streamstore a lot the last few months, but I only recently started playing with just putting in videos (instead of gifs with seperate sound, which I have done earlier), and whenever a viewer redeems a store items which has a video as a source, the sound plays twice. When they redeem the gifs with sound, they only play once (as they should).
Is it bugged, or is there a setting that I'm missing out on?

I need some help with a blank screen when trying to capture a game. I'm on a laptop and I've tried changing the graphics settings for obs to the high performance as well as using the nvidia control panel to change the obs graphics to high performance and neither have worked. Please help.

Hi, I have a theme loaded in a scene and just tried transitioning from a scene that does NOT include the theme, into a scene that does, and I notice a major lag of a few seconds before the main bg graphic appears. Is there anything I can do to resolve that?

Ok so I went to Nerd or Die and they tested out TTS on their end. It worked for them. They were confused on why I was referred to them since it was a StreamElements thing. I am still unable to use TTS for anything and after make a new alert box purely for TTS it still didn't work. I have no idea what I am doing wrong and it seems flat out broken on my end. If anyone can help me in any way I would be so grateful.

Hi, I reported an issue here April, 14 to @zenith widget about SE Leaderboards extension on Twitch, where the Twitch profile Jun1Nj cannot configure the extension on the Twitch extensions panel after it is installed/added. The problem occurs with the Twitch login/profile, it has already been tested on different computers and browsers and the problem is the same... only with this profile/login. As soon as you click on configure the extension it starts to open the window, it flashes, and suddenly the image is completely erased without any data. I already sent the Chrome and Firefox developer report to @zenith widget showing errors on the console. I would like to know if the developers already have an answer or fix to the problem with the Twitch profile Jun1Nj (account id: 5d94009d800fd85c47b9ccd6 ).

Hi there, two things relating to sound effects (I'm new to stream elements and twitch, so it's likely my fault!) - when a user redeems a sound effect via the loyalty store, 1, I get no alert (even though they are set up), 2 - I hear the sound effect twice, overlapping, so it's awful to listen to. got this instruction from @zenith widget but don't know what the console tab is, so far steps 1 o 4 is working!

  1. Right click on your OBS desktop shortcut -> properties - in the "Target" field add this -> --remote-debugging-port=40404
  2. Open OBS(or restart if it was open)
  3. Open your browser and type in "localhost:40404"
  4. Click on "StreamElements - Activity feed"
  5. navigate to the Console tab
  6. type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration
