Do you have OBS Studio still installed? You need to uninstall OBS.Live before uninstalling OBS Studio.

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

Hi! For a while now, my sub count in streamelements reads 1 higher than what I actually have on twitch. I've tried reloading overlay, resetting sessions, just about everything. Not really sure what to do about it at this point

• Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
  We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
  OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

The video is outdated. To comply with YouTube terms, the video itself holds the volume controller. And when you're showing on stream, the video in the browser is not the one controlling everything.

I have 5 profiles for twitch. All for separate games. I made a new one for modern warfare and now they are all synced. So if I delete the scene in one profile I got to the other profile and its the same exact scene with the now deleted profile

I can test it and it works just fine, but when I'm live and someone hosts, it doesn't show up. @desert terrace Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

• Ground Control does not have Custom Bot Name
• Subscriber count will count the Channel and any other permanent sub you may have (+1 or +2 or +3 on top).
  We are working on fixing both issues, but there is no ETA.
  OBS.Live still has Custom Bot name working fine in it.

Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

Well, yes, downloading it will of course take as much space as the backup itself was, but the size is generally negligible.

@lament blade the size for the backup is literally nothing like Nethyr said. The only exception is if you choose the option to backup the actual sources for your scenes which can up the ante if it's large enough files. Otherwise it's just pocket change.

I have some gifs that I trigger on stream through the stream store widget on an overlay. In that widget I can set an "alert duration." This duration seems to work perfectly for my gifs until I add a sound effect. The sound effect is 10 seconds long, but it makes my gif replay for something like 15 seconds. It doesn't matter what I put the alert duration slider at, it stays up the same amount of time and it is really long.

If a sound is in use, the entire sound file duration will be used instead of the set alert duration.

If your gif is shorter than the sound file, then it can of course loop.

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
  Note for Mixer streamers: The above 2 filters currently apply for Mixer and we are aware its actually not how Mixer hosts work. We do plan on changing it, but no ETA on when.

@tepid wadi If you can start a stream with your account connected, you are good to go, but a lot of people are getting error messages when they try to do so.
This is why you can log out of your account and add your streamKey and start a stream.

I can get display_name for the user using the command and for the channel the command is being used in, but I can’t see a way to get it for an arbitrary account/user/channel.

i had my obs setup so that i had a tab at the bottom of my chat to toggle between stream tile and chat. the last week or so it is there one day and gone the next. am i doing something wrong? the tag is not even under the "dock"options

@rigid shoal Most likely you are referring to the stream information dock, which is not available at this time, as twitch is having connection issues and yo can only stream via your streamkey.

For the custom bot name, try to reconnect it in the activity feed burger menu. If that does not help, try this:

1) Right click on your OBS desktop shortcut -> properties - in the "Target" field add this -> --remote-debugging-port=40404
2) Open OBS(or restart if it was open)
3) Open your browser and type in "localhost:40404"
4) Click on "StreamElements - Activity feed"
5) navigate to the Console tab
6) type in the console this: store.customBot.removeCustomBotIntegration() and hit enter
7) Try setting the custom bot name
8) remove the addition you added in step 1
