Hey guys, I just have a question about whether or not something is possible.
I want to create a custom widget for a credit roll at the end of my streams. Now I know it can show follows, subs, cheers, donations, and all that, but is there a way for it to pull the current session chatstats, and then maybe list off of everybody who was at the stream? I'm sure there's zero chance of it knowing everyone that was watching, but can it track those who sent at least one message during stream?

Hi! I hear we can change StreamElements' name if we choose to do so. I have not been able to. From what I found out, I need the bot to be a moderator, to have ground control, setup an overlay and have a bio panel with a link to my StreamElements donation page. There are two ways to go about it:
Add the assets to OBS from your computer, which requires additional CPU/GPU/RAM to load, store, and display the assets, which reduces stream quality due to increased compute power being used.
Inside the StreamElements Overlay editor you can click on the Library menu which will allow you to upload your assets to the cloud so the assets can be loaded via a browser source, which uses less computer resources and improves your stream quality.

Basically a dummy twitch account is a second account. You can have whatever name you want (granted it’s not taken) and connect the StreamElements bot to that account. Once connected subscribe to yourself with twitch prime or whatever and then your bot will be able to use sub emotes

Hello! I have an issue with the HypeBoss in my overlay - instead of getting replaced with the user dealing the final blow, it jsut stays at 0 hp, no matter how many times I reset it in the overlay edtor. I have also tried removing it from the overlay and adding it again - also didn't help.

There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

Once Paypal receives the funds and has verified that there is no fraud, they will then send you the money but only after they have validated there are funds that aren't going to disappear.

Is there a way to download widgets that are in an overlay? If I wanted to download a social media icon from a particular overlay pack and add it to a slideshow widget

Does anyone know why the giveaway widget isnt working for a a moderator to use? A streamer I mod for is trying to run one and we are running into a lot of issues. We can set it up and get it running but it doesnt count entries.

@livid vortex Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. We can get it all set up here, start the giveaway, but regardless of people entering the giveaway in chat with !ticket 1 or !enter 1, no entries are recorded and no winner is able to be drawn.

Briannakane -- She just switched today by my recommendation and I have been helping her get things set up. Giveaways are a huge part of her stream as a Warframe partner she gets in game items to give away all the time.

Hello, Is there any reason the emulate cheer event would cause corresponding alert graphics in OBS to freeze. All other alerts and graphics work ok when emulating other events. Only the cheer emulation causes this behavior in OBS. It appears normal on the SE overlay editor side. It only freezes in OBS. Any suggestions?

@lament blade 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly.
There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

The animation tab in the overlay editor, only affects these listed widgets:
The animation settings serve a purpose to be active, when the widget becomes active - it does not affect the content inside.

In order to show the video on stream you need to add the "Media Request" widget to an overlay and have that overlay active in your OBS
