Yes, I know how it works. I have used it for basically the time it has existed. I am simply curious as to why this amazing feature would be removed from GC. Additionally, something is bugged with my tipping panel and I can't proceed with changing the bot name in my OBS.Live because of it. I click recheck since the link is there, but it doesn't work.

• from the overlay editor -> data on top -> goal tab -> reset progress of desired goal
• from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal
  Note: Goal widgets(progress) only counts up and doesn't go down automatically, if you loose followers/subs

I need help. My SE overlays are in 1920x1080 mode, and my OBS is recording in 1920x1200 (my monitor res). Therefore I can't put a widget on the bottom of my stream as it will be 120px too high

Meaning that your native resolution will look squished from one of the sides by Twitch

There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points.
It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time.
Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

If a viewer tipped through PayPal but no information appears in your StreamElements account, this generally means PayPal has held the tip for verification. Until PayPal clears the tip and sends back a confirmation to your StreamElements account, no information will appear there and no alert will play, as that confirmation is the only way for us to be aware of a successful transaction. If you believe there may be an issue with the transaction, you'll need to contact PayPal support as StreamElements is only a passthrough service and never actually gets involved with the transaction or touches the money.

Also one of the biggest tip any streamer will give you is not to make a big deal about when someone talks for the first time. The idea being they are getting a feel for your channel and your community, so by having an alert or sound you will scare them off and they won’t come back. There are little animal overlays that can be added via third party that say hello to them on stream which is similar to an alert, but aren’t as attention drawing as a sound. You might look into those

@lament blade If you changed your name on Twitch please follow these steps:
🔹 Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again with by connecting with Twitch.
🔹 On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select "Join" under bot settings. If it says "Part" select that and then select "Join" to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
🔹 Post your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

@calm wind Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
• Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
  Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

• from the dashboard -> activity feed on the left -> widget data on the right -> goals tab -> reset progress of desired goal

there was a way to set it up - you needed to have tipping on your channel and verify it on streamelements site, then you should be able to grant access to your bot to the bot you have in streamelements so that it won't show as streamelements in chat

To my knowledge, unless you have signed up for SE.Pay, it will not be activated on your account.

If it is not activated on your account, it will not hold tips through SE.Pay

Paypal however can hold tips from you if they deem the orginal tip malicious until the funds have cleared.

As someone who multi-streams, I setup a "Tip Goal" and was surprised to realize that donations that come from people that log in via mixer, don't show up on the "Tip Goal" bar that is setup on my Twitch.. It's a goal bar, doesn't really matter where the person who donated watches me.. Is there a way to bypass that separation?

Hello, I'm trying to set up my custom bot name in streamelements OBS. It keeps telling me to set up my tip panel on my twitch channel before I can activate it. It has been set up for quite some time now. When I try to go in and just re-do it the "next" and "test" buttons on the tipping and bot set up screen do not work.

I usually use the Ground Control application for my custom bot on Twitch. I was always able to set up my custom bot with it. However, today I noticed that my custom bot is not connected anymore, and that the option to connect it is gone.

Im having issues with my stream. I have a $1800 pc with a gtx 1080. Ive been streaming on this pc for the past year and had no issues. I rearranged my setup, and now, for some reason, I cant stream certain games without dropped frames. The in game frames dont drop at all. Its just the frames in my stream elements that drop. But i can play games on ps4 perfectly fine, and along with that, I can play fortnite on pc. When i run games like overwatch or apex, my frames drop like crazy. Any ideas> Ive lowered bit rate, changed from cpu to gpu, dropped quality, etc. Nothing worked.
