hey guys. Im using se obs and everytime i play music and try to show the video on screen it duplicates the sound? I took off the media player widget on the overlays and it plays the music once but then it doesnt show the video on the screen. What am i missing to make the video show and the music not duplicate?

For the last couple of days my Streamelements has been acting up. I go into my store on my dashboard to edit an item in my store and I get a page saying i have no store items, but I do. my kb/s starts around 3000 when I start my stream then declines to zero. I've run through all of obs troubleshooting as well as twitch connection troubleshooting. My network is fine, and I've streamed on it for months with no problem. Any other ideas why I might be dropping to zero on obs despite having no connection issues elsewhere?
I'm dropping 60% of my frames running 720 p 30 fps when I dropped 0.2% yesterday at 1080 p 60 fps on the same connection

OBS is super sensitive with the internet connection
any slight hickup and OBS feels it and reports back
because a stream is like a river stream - you need 100% uptime.

I would recommend to move away from SLOBS, as it tends to not work correctly with our overlays..or our overlays don't work with SLOBS in a desired way and there is nothing we can do about it.
But in general, make sure the resolution matches between the overlay and thee browser source

- Click on your Channel Name at the top of the dashboard and select Settings
- Create a new invite at one of three access levels (Bot Supervisor, Editor, Full Control)
- Send this invite to a mod/manager to give them access to your dashboard. The link is one-time-use and expires after 72 hours if not accepted

- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

So, I have TTS enabled with a minimum activation of 100 bits. I checked every single variation BELOW 100 bits to be sure that TTS is not enabled in ANY of them and yet... TTS works with 50 bit cheer.
I fixed this previously by combing through the variations but now TTS is suddenly working against below 100.
And I just again went through them all to double check.

if its not showing up then go to Settings -> advanced -> scroll down -> enable hardware accelaration.
If that doesn't help, then you are not adding the browser source correctly.

I'm looking for a way to detect and manipulate SE points for a channel.
I wanted to create a bot that does stuff, with your SE points in the channel, instead of creating my own currency for the bot; is this possible?
This is for my own channel, not other channels as well. I just didn't want to have to compete with the already integrated bot and the currency users have acquired.
My one idea was to have a "conversion" command, that uses SE points to purchase a currency for my bot, and the bot detects that message, but that'd be such a lengthy workaround. Is there a direct way to interface with my own channel's user and points from my bot?

- Redemable via chat
- Skip Requirements
- Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
- Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
- Add command with desired name and have response for command as:
${redeem item_name_here} - Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
- Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.

hi i got another question regarding a custom command for bot, if i want to make kinda raffle system, but with 4 winners always, lets say im a diablo streamer and im doing a boosting stream, but i have alot of viewers that want to join, can i make a system/raffle so u start it as mod or broadcaster then viewers can enter and the bot will then pick 4 winners and those 4 winners will join the party and get boost.

Hey yall I got a question about overlays and stream elements.
I got the Borderlines pack from Nerd or Die and am currently using their alerts. I want to use their gameplay overlay but it has a lot of elements I don't really need atm since I'm not even affiliate. Do I just delete those in elements? Or make each one it's own overlay/browser source. Like the gameplay overlay comes with two cam borders, but I need just one obviously. What's the best way to modify these things to fit my stream?

You can copy/duplicate the overlay in the overlay section at SE and delete the items you do not need in the copied overlay and add this to your stream.

Sorry, looks like when I print screen it captured all three of my monitors including the capture card. The right side of my main monitor that I am trying to project to the third screen is cut off
Don't know if you can see or not but see how the middle image you can see the people online but on the right monitor (the full screen projector/elgato) you can't see the right side of the projected image? Its cut off, if I am making any sense.
I am projecting a 1440p monitor to a 1080p monitor

I need to set different alerts to different parts of a 1920x1080 canvas (e.g. follows in top left, hosts in top right), what's the easiest way to achieve this? Different overlays with different elements of the alert box enabled?
Also, entertaining the idea of moving from SLOBS to OBS. What's the easiest way to achieve moving all of my scenes/sources?

@pearl flint The fact someone here actually helped me , and then @sweet socket suggests something too. This quickly. Comparing this support service to SL is night and day and one of the reasons I want to move from their ecosystem.
Their software is broken and won't help me, so I have to devise my own workarounds. I work in IT in my dayjob, I dont want to have to create my own workarounds for my dang hobby too LOL

Afaik the whole overlays only can be imported with the importer in OBS.Live.
The alertboxes and other things can also be imported via the import button on the website.
