there is a fix being rolled out, but it takes some time to reach everyone, so the people that come in here to ask about it we manually fix

Half way through stream last night, my chat notifications stopped working and Ground Control would only show subs and raids in activity feed. I had to restart Ground Control a couple of times in the middle of streaming. Website dashboard also shows the same problem. I just set up a "Subscriber Goal" Widget and it states I have 35/15 subs... I want it to show my actual subs this month which is 7 . For the life of me I can't find out how to change it, only the 15 or goal number. Also while I am asking questions I have a Start screen with a count down timer, where in my obs can I reset that time as sometimes I start the program and it show 0:00 and sometimes its shows the correct 5 minute count down timer. Hey guys, I've decided to use the nvidia shadowplay thing to record and stream instead of OBS; since it's so much smoother and takes even less resources than using NVENC in OBS.
My problem is that I'm losing my glorious streamelements overlay with animated alerts and such.
Is there any way to get alerts/chat etc to show up as an overlay over my actual gameplay(running single screen setup) so the viewers can still behold the glory as well as me?

Hi, I am having problems since yesterday with Ground Control and the custom bot name not working. I had changed nothing yesterday when it first happened (was fine on Thursday - not on Friday). I have uninstalled the software and cleaned out all the json files and what not - relogged in...but the custom bot name box is just not there at all.

No issues adding the command itself but when using it the output from SE in chat is truncated to 400 characters when the chat limit is 500 characters. @modest jewel I'm not from Stream Elements but I can tell you the auto config is rubbish. Do it manually. Use advanced set up and set it to the x264 encoder and try it on 'super fast' with with profile set to high. If it runs well then try changing it to 'very fast', each time test it on a second account with no game cat set. The further you go down that list towards 'slow' setting, the more cpu you use. Also on video settings set it to 1280x720 60fps. You can also try 30fps if you still have issues. Watch the stream back as you test if you have another screen. More important is perceived quality.

@wise grail General audio setting is totally up to you, as we cannot recommend you anything for volume, as there are at least 3 points where you can set up audio control levels, maybe even more on your setup.

Heya! In regards to the follower alert problem that many people are having. Is there a place to add my name to the list of peope who are also having issues in regards to followers not being picked up on twitch stream?

Bits, donations, hosts/raids managed to get picked up fine on my stream just now. It was just the followers that I ended up missing on my stream, which was disspointing as I had a raid of 40 people and I didn't get to thank them for the follow which probably peeved them off a little as I didn't pic up on it at first since there was so much going on. (Which a few probably unfollowed and such shortly after.)

Select StreamElements at the top in OBS.Live > Import from other services.
If there is an error, then you are either trying to copy copy right protected files or a file which is larger than 100MB.

You can add the widget to all your active overlays and make sure that they are all set to shutdown when not visible in the browser source properties in OBS, else you will hear double sound.

Hey, I've noticed that the first time that my alerts are triggered they're slower to appear, so I have to set the duration longer, but after that they appear faster so there's a second of stillness at the end of the clip. Is there something I can do about this? Any advice is appreciated 🙂
