It works kinda as a minimum, so you do not need to make more or higher amounts.

(although the regular clip customapi doesn't have custom titles so that's moot)

in general I don't really recommend regex/keywords for clipping, since it can be confusing and may trigger for other messages that didn't mean to

anyone else having a huge CPU usage after the last obs.live update using Nvenc? im pegging 75% usage in obs with no game running on a bandwidth test. ive tried x264 as well and the difference is not like it used to be. like ~5%. last night tried to play a game that i always stream and literally couldnt because CPU was pegged at 100 and 89c and the game ran like chop.. wondering if others are having this issue or if its just my machine.

No. We specifically do not have greeting features as they're often counterproductive and serve to drive newcomers off.

The minimum required action for a bot response is a follow.

Hi there, I'm sure this question has been asked 1 billion times... However, could anyone help me with getting my host alerts to work? Every other alert: cheers, raids, donations, subs, etc all work. But when someone hosts my stream, the only thing that happens is I get a small notification in my twitch chat. It doesn't even show up in my activity feed.

I couldn't get OBS live to change my bot name for some reason, but it worked with ground control so I use both of them. It's no biggie to me.

So the only way host alerts will work for me, is if a streamer hosts me (offline) and brings along another viewer with them? OR if they JUST went offline, and again, brought at least one viewer with them?

But people who come into my chat randomly, (without streaming, or just ending their stream) while hitting the host button will not activate an alert.

Be aware then all the messages, including the 8-Ball answers are then shown.

Hi, I got advice yesterday from staff in regards to doing an animated gif alert. Specifically the sub alert in question is a full screen animation that I want with no text alert. It seems changing the overlay style doesn't help it still leaves space for a text alert, even if I have no text I want showing up. I was told to convert my gif to a webm. It appears in the upload module that is the only video type supported. Webm doesn't support transparency. I'm open to more ideas/help.

As I could see everytime when someone raids me, I also get a hostactivity in my activity feed and both alerts, the one for the raid and the one for the host, are triggerd. And why does the activity feed of SE in the SE.OBS show those entries in the activity feed even though I only have one registered action at the twitch dashboard?

I'm trying to explain that the bot lives on a computer in a center and sometimes like any system and can poop but the devs put in scripts to notify us when things poop and they restart them or allocate more memory or cpu. Hello! I seem to have a bug...
This says that I have 26 of 20 subs. But actually, that number changes every time someone subs to the number of months they have subbed. So I only have 8 subs, but the counter says 26 because the "Mock sub alert" that Stream Elements does, says that the person subbed for 26 months in a row, so the number changes to 26. If the next person subbed for a total of 13 months, it would change the number to 13, not to the next number of current subs. It has to be a bug, right?

It functions as a goal, as in, you can have it start at 0 and say for example that you want to get 20 subs in X days, so yeah, doesn't read your current actual count. If you don't mind a text version, you can use the total count widget which'll read the current count

I did a test sub alert and it jumped back up to 45. I refreshed the cache and it went back to 8...

No, that's just a random quirk/bug of the test alerts, which affects the widgets wrongly. In general, it's a good idea to refresh your overlays after your testing to make sure everything's current and correct

When importing from another program like streamlabs chatbot, is there any way to transfer hours? Currency and donation information transferred just fine but hours did not, so the !watchtime of all my viewers reset. Is there any way around this?

Points are imported separately from the tips that got imported

use the Ankhbot imported and make sure the file is an .csv format with these columns inside:
name,points,hours-in-minutes

Be default when you exports the points from SL, they are formatted like this: name,rank,points,hours

so you will need to remove the rank column and convert the hours into minutes - make sure there are no decimals like so: 5005.50 <-- this will not allow us to import points

For some reason, a streamelements overlay I added to OBS is insanely jittery, like it's at 1fps - all it contains is a few of the halloween widgets.. nothing too fancy. Got a beast setup so it's not like it'll struggle to use it. This didn't happen last year.
