The alertbox is not "built" into it in the way you might be thinking. A Super Theme's assets can be moved and removed. You can go into the five overlays and delete the alertboxes while keeping everything else.

So what you'll want to do is create a new blank overlay, duplicate the alertbox from one of those overlays to the new empty one, and then delete the alertbox from those five super theme overlays.

We cannot guarantee functionality in SLOBS as their updates have broken functionality in the past, and we don't have the tools to troubleshoot their fork of OBS. That said, I can confirm it will do just fine in SLOBS as well, provided you set it up as we previously described.

I just set it up myself in a copy of SLOBS and the behavior is identical to that shown above in OBS Studio. From here, you'll need to go through their support if it's still acting up and you're certain you've unchecked "Shutdown source when not visible" for all your browser sources. Likewise, there was a recent update released by them that essentially forces you to reinstall NVIDIA drivers to get proper functionality, from what I understand, so that could also be your issue.

No, those names are not editable. They're taken from your channels. And the "Owner" title is stating that your account, as a whole, is owner of those channels. As opposed to being a Bot Moderator or Editor of a channel.

Can't just name it whatever you want. It needs its own account to talk through. Since you were logged into your own account when generating the OAuth token, it's speaking through your account. You need to be logged into the bot account you make when you generate that token.

i have a weird technical problem that i can't solve.
was on slobs for a while but suddenly kept getting lagged frames upwards of 50% on it when not tabbed into an open game (whether it was being monitored as a source or not). thought it was their update so swapped back to obs with live.
it was better, but I still get lagged frames when tabbed out. doesn't seem to be any unifying reason between this regardless of what settings I have (in game, on obs, in windows, in nvidia or monitor). it just seems like when I have a game open at the same time as obs, then tab out so the game isnt active, obs drops to 25 or less fps. the actual game is still running in the background (if windowed) at full frames. performance mode has the same issue.
nothing that i know of changed between now and the previous 4 years. curious if anyone has something obvious to suggest i might've not tried yet.

Steps:

  1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
  2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
  3. Enable Custom Font
  4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Note: After installing fonts, the browser and OBS must be restarted for the font to appear.

So hi i have a question why is there no switch accounts options and why can i not delete my account, Story is I have two accounts for twitch one to watch people and one to stream, problem is when I try to login it chooses my watching account every time, I use the jwt token and such to close the account and that worked for some time now it tells me my watching account has an invalid username, so I cannot close it. I'm encountering an issue while importing scenes from slobs to elements, the "uploading media files" is stuck on 19/23. I have some heavy overlay based on videos but it's been almost 4 hours since I started the importation process.   1. Create the text.
  2. Right click the text in the sources list.
  3. Click Filters.

ou need to update your NVIDIA drivers. You have 2 ways you can do it:

  1. Open GeForce Experience if it's installed on your PC. Login, click on DRIVERS, then select Download. Install it fully, then reboot. OR

@silk folio Since Apex Legends doesn't have optimized GPU drivers yet, it tends to take up all your GPU resources, leaving nothing for OBS. If you're having OBS performance issues, you'll likely need to limit the game somehow. The easiest way to do this is to enable Vsync in the game, or use a frame limiter. You can limit the game to 60fps by adding `+fps_max 60` to the game's launch properties in Origin.

@torpid mulch donations tend not to get flagged when the streamer is online. Donations made offline tend to send up red flags. My guess would be the payment team is still investigating that donation. It shouldn't prevent you from getting donations going forward today with your stream live

hello! I'm trying to set up a tips page and seem to have a problem. After I copy the URL from stream labs website then paste on my twitch panel and test it to see if it works, it does. However, when go back to stream elements it won't let me "check" and so I can't continue to finish the page. What should I do?

Streamlabs donations do not trigger StreamElements alerts. We have our own tipping page.

As soon as it is ready. I do know that v23 is still supported and does function with SE. I’m excited to see the update to support v24 as well but we can only wait until it has that wonderful last bit of polish to make sure it isn’t going to break anything important.

If you wanna run obs v23 I believe somewhere around here there are instructions to downgrade to 23 for obs.live compatibility

2 of the items have a 300 second user cooldown, 1 has a 600 second user cooldown and 1 has a 10 second user cooldown. The redeem command has a 1 second global cooldown and a 10 second user cooldown

Not seeing anything here that'd cause them to always be on cooldown

Hey guys, quick one atm store redemptions only work once, then wont work a second time (even if different item). Secondly I can't redeem any store item in chat despite being set up to be able to by using !redeem kitteh (e.g.) and redeems via extension being active also.

I believe the first issue is down to the very long global cooldowns you have set on many of your items

@shell forge correct, but was just reacting to the normal loyalty settings you were talking about. Staff is looking at the extension stuff, but for now, we'll have to see (since loyalty is enabled now), if new events come onto the extension panel

Hey, im putting together my own overlay using the overlay editor and i'm not sure what the "text over image" for a subscriber event is doing i've uploaded a test image which is basically just a coloured box. The expected behaviour my end is that the text is displayed on top of the image but i don't see the text when i use event emulator. The background is black and the text is set to white. What might i be missing? I want to get the text to show over my background image is this how it works or do i need to approach it a different way.

@modest plank If you are not seeing the OBS Twitch integrations and have OBS.Live installed, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live
  2. exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
  3. delete %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies
  4. start OBS.Live
  5. Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect

@grave igloo Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

  • All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
  • Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
    Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.
