Could be, there's reports of issues with things not running correctly without Browser Source Hardware Acceleration enabled, which in itself can cause performance issues, so it's either play with that catch-22 or go back to 23.2.1

4. start OBS.Live
5. Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect

For anyone that can help. I have an Overlay with the Store Redemption Widget added. When I test Redemptions in the Overlay it works. When i test the Overlay in any Streaming Platform it does nothing. It did work a few days ago, i haven't changed anything. I have rebooted, i have created a new overlay and everything.

If i open the URL in a browser window and "retrigger" a redemption, nothing happens either.

If the overlay chat widget doesn't show it, then the issue is basically on your side and hopefully clearing the cache helps resolve this.

Also, on an unrelated note, Streamlabs doesn't let you export your currency if you use the "Streamlabs Extension" part of their chatbot. There is literally no export option for it. So I won't be able to bring over any of the currency or hours that my viewers have accumulated 😦

In-stream (real stream) the widget didn't update. At all

Moreover, it also SOMEHOW locked all other widgets

And my "last follower" stopped updating all across the board

Took me half a day of resetting crap to get them to auto-update again

So I'd rather avoid that this time. If I already know that it isn't working, I'm not gonna set it up...

Now, if I have guarantees that this issue is for test events ONLY, then that's fine

Why would my CPU be sky rocketing suddenly? I've come across that as a troubleshooting, but have no idea as to what is causing it.

Check task manager as well while you're testing.

having a little audio issue, not sure if theirs a solution to this. Hoping someone can help. Using Media Request, it's set to play Video/Music on my Overlay, on all Scenes. If I set the Overlay Sources settings to "Shutdown source when not visible" everything works great except the Scene transitions ie. Live! to BRB don't load in smoothly. If I disable/uncheck "Shutdown sources when not visible" the Scene Transitions work flawlessly but the audio playing starts looping into its self.

Two options:

1. Use Studio Mode to preload scenes while "Shutdown source when not visible" is on
2. If you don't want to use "Shutdown source when not visible," put audio-playing widgets into their own separate overlays and add them as a different source using "use existing" in each of your scenes.

3. Start adding all overlays gradually until the MR sound doesn't echo with "show on stream" and don't forget the "shutdown when inactive"

It's not possible to arbitrarily 'rename' the bot in the traditional sense. At the end of the day, all messages sent on Twitch are from Twitch accounts. The SE bot is just another Twitch account too

No, once you authorise StreamElements with it, SE will have the ability to send messages through that account whenever

Yes, something 'local' has to be the bot. SE is all cloud based after all. You can either use OBS.Live or GroundControl but most people opt for OBS.Live since you need OBS open to stream anyway. So it's just connected once you open it to stream.

I didn't install OBS live cause OBS (and SE) are already buggy enough and giving me (personally, cause ignorant) enough trouble as is

Hello, not sure if this is the correct channel, but my store redemption alert box suddenly always shows any text that isn't the name of the redeemer and the item. for example [name] redeemed [item] - "redeemed" always shows redeemed on my overlay. Is there a way to fix this?
