So have my webcam on 2 scenes. There setup and there working fine....however, when i add another video capture device on a new scene the webcam doesn't show....I also tried copy and pasting the ones that are working in my other scenes into the new scene and still nothing not sure whats going on restarted obs.live 4 times didn't change anything...will just have to stick with the scenes that are currently working and figure this out later....

Unfortunately, there's no option to revert to the default sound after changing off of it. If you haven't made too many changes, you could delete the alertbox and add a new one, which will come in with all the defaults.

In general, you'll have the easiest time with the website using Chrome. It's optimized for Chromium to keep it in line with OBS browser sources.

It could, potentially, if you're not careful. You want to be sure you turn your Paypal account into a Business account, and use it like one, it should use your business information rather than your personal information.

I am new to streaming and love your software over StreamLabs. However, I would like to play some music at low levels in the background while just chatting or during BRB, Intro, and Ending screens. For the Media Request App, I started linking Youtube music, but mainstream music is still a violation of the Twitch TOS, correct? Also, How can I get the app to play at a lower volume than say the game sounds and my mic? I have all volumes set where I want them, but the volume of the music is way too high and I have the slider for the app all the way down to one notch. How can I lower it even further?

@halcyon falcon Scrolling text will not restart until all text has left visibility. If you'd like different behavior, you'll need to custom code a widget.
@wide leaf All default alerts were changed recently, and unless you had added an alertbox and didn't edit it before the changes were made, there's no way to get what used to be there. You'll need to upload your own assets in this case.

@narrow plaza It's the streamer's responsibility to be mindful of copyrighted material and possible DMCA issues. About volume, you can also lower your desktop volume, but I'd assume that wouldn't be an ideal solution. Aside from that, you've got the volume slider in the media request system, and then when OBS Studio releases 24.0.0, it'll include individual volume adjustment for browser sources, so look forward to that.

@zenith widget I'm new to StreamElements and my setup is almost complete, I was able to import most of my stuff from other platforms I'm just finnishing some overlays stuff and minor adjusts.
The only problem I have and I've been trying to figure it out for the past 2~3 hours is why StreamElements doesn't let me post link in my own twitch channel.
For example: I've a command "!terceira" (the place I(m) live(from)) with this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terceira_Island even after I added it to the Spam Filters section's whitelist when I type "!terceira" in my own channel's chat to test it always shows "StreamElements: ***".
Please, for the love of God help me fix this.

- Our bot is not modded in your channel if links come out as ***
- There is a setting for twitch channels in the moderation section where hyperlinks are blocked. This is a default setting turned on "On" if the channel is new.

yeah, unfortunately with unique functionality like that, custom is the way to go! you can always add it as an idea on the ideas board, since the Code Gurus (myself included) sometimes use the ideas board as a way to get inspiration for creating new widgets that the community can access from the #widget-share channel

- what kind of overlay it is(what widgets it has)
- What kind of CPU you have
- what kind of internet speed you have

Hey! For whatever reason, my sub goal counter is completely out of whack. It's not updating, it's not working, and there's nothing I can do to fix it. It's innaccurately stating that I have 660 subs, when I actually only have 606.

It is worth noting that the Sub Goal widget is not intended to keep track of your total number of subscribers, for that we would recommend using the Total Subscribers widget
The Sub Goal widget simply counts up 1 when you gain 1, it does not count down when you lose any

When I looked you had a blank amount box for Tips and Cheers, putting 1 into both of those boxes fixed the issue as all value boxes must have a value in them 🙂

so i know i can add a !addwin command with ${count <addwin>} to add 1 win each time the command is used.... then add a !wins ${getcount <wins>} can then be used for everyone so it doesnt increment it by 1 each time the command is used. and then add !resetwins with ${count <resetwins> <0>} to reset the wins back to 0. Is that right because if so its not working for me.... im sure im messing something up here or missing the whole point

The counter name needs to be the same for each of the commands.
${count wins} - adds 1 and returns new count
${getcount wins} - returns win count

@potent saffron Well, you need to actually be a Twitch Affiliate to receive subs. When you receive a tip through your tipping page, those will play. Basically, the event needs to actually happen for it to play the alert.

Long story short he's using a payment bridge I developed for the danish MobilePay system where people can transfer money to each other. I've removed a few on my own account without any issues. - Add command with desired name and have response for command as:
${redeem item_name_here} - Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
- Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
- Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound

and I've never had an issue with it, besides the slight delay in controller

@neon gorge Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:
- All hosts coming from an online channel with at least 1+ viewer
- Auto host events with at least 1 viewer - only from a channel that just went offline
Note: If you see "X channel has hosted you" with no viewers on the back, that is considered an offline host or a host with 0 viewers, we do not show these.

Hey guys I just linked my twitch to my stream elements so I could participate in a giveaway on my favorite streamers channel on twitch it shows that I have set amount of earn currency from that streamer from watching but my stream elements shows I have 0 and that I’m not even subscribed which chat and the streamer have confirmed I am and that I have lots of currency I can’t figure it out so I can enter the giveaway

Hi! I was curious if theres any specific reasoning behind why a lot of times when i open up my SLOBS for the first time in a day that my StreamElements Browser Source Overlay doesnt appear and in attempts to refresh it, it just appears as a blank white screen where the overlay should be?

^ as we can not provide support for some third party apps, I would suggest trying OBS.Live to see if you have the same issue.

hi guys, i have a question about overlays, i added a timer widget that counts down 10 mins, is there a way to reset that timer or do i really have to open OBS 10 mins before actually playing a game. I usually fiddle with OBS before i go live and the timer is already at 0 by then.

Hi, I'm having an issue; when I press Start Streaming on OBS.Live, it appears to start normally, but my Twitch stream is offline. Any suggestions? (Additionally, when I try to end stream it says "Stopping Stream..." forever)

@astral wing check which server your streaming to on twitch might be having issues try a different server
@vast quartz if you right click the browser source and properties you should be able to refresh cache which should reload page and restart timer

Hello, I have added in the alertbox a webm video for new follower, which last 6 seconds. The alert duration is set to 6 seconds as well. After the 6 seconds, the text (new follower: ) disappears, but the webm video thing is still there forever. Any help ?

Trying to create different commands that would allow me to add a specific amount of currency to a different user each time for specific purposes - it would make it easier than having to remember how much currency I want to give for the different events. Anyone done this before?

For instance, during the first hour of the stream, I give out x currency to anyone who comes in to chat, then if someone retweets a going live tweet then they get a different amount and folks who are around at the end of the stream will get another a certain amount - I'd like to just make a command for !1h username and it would give the proper amount or !eos username for that amount
