I may have fixed my own problem @zenith widget I was going through tons of old troubleshooting videos and noticed that someone mentioned that when they used the browser source on multiple scenes it would lag as well, under the source options - Shutdown source when not visible I check this for each scene using a browser source and voila.

The only follow alerts that won't show are re-follows (to prevent spam) and ones which trigger the moderation you have set on alerts in Tipping Settings > Tip Moderation

idk if this a bug or not, but on this one timer the emotes didnt show. Emotes are working on other commands and will probably work on the timer again, but here you go. mb the bot just had a hiccup connecting to the chat client for a millisecond

@hexed cosmos If they're not showing up on your PayPal then there's two options: there's an issue with your PayPal account, or the person didn't donate at all (such as typing /me donated x for example)

No they're no issue with the paypal. People have donated to my stream just fine like a week ago. However when I do the test alert for a donation in the overlay editor, nothing shows up. Nothing also shoes up in obs.live when I re-play a week old tips alert. Every other alert works fine such as follows and subs. Tips are the only alert that does not work

Are we talking about running the extension from the website activity feed or dashboard? If so, this is required but I don't think you need to be on Chrome specifically

Second, can we have scenes linked in OBS to auto-responses? So if I BRB I can put a little timer as to when I'm back or a description as to what I am doing.

There are are ways to control your streaming OBS remotely but not with StreamElements. Look into OBS remote I believe it is called. You can access the SE website from your phone's browser to edit things like bot timers, etc

what I do see is your color format should be set to NV12. You can change your Color Format in Settings -> Advanced.

Steps to make a command trigger sound on stream:

1. Go to Stream Store page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/store/items
2. Add an item that has these settings on it:

• Stream Perk
• Loyalty settings to your desire
• (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)
• "Redeeming this item shows an alert
• Redemable via chat
• Skip Requirements

3. Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
4. Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
5. Add command with desired name and have response for command as: ${redeem item_name_here}
6. Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
7. Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
8. Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound
9. ???
10. Profit in viewer interaction and that dosh

The other thing I was wondering: When I had followers trying to use a sound effect, two of them redeemed the same sound effect twice, hoping that would help. Is it possible to make it so that a sound effect can be redeemed infinitely, but only once per account?

user cooldown is set on the user that used it last to not be able to use the same item again for the X period

Item B - Has global cooldown

User A uses Item A -> User a cannot use item again until cooldown is over

User B can use Item A as well, even if User A is affected by cooldown

If they then want to use the sound in the channel, the store's User Cooldown has nothing to do with it. If I click "emulate item redemption" on stream elements, it all works perfectly(GIF + Sound effect). However, if I type the redeem command in chat - streamelements bot says I have successfully redeemed it, it also plays the sound effect, but the GIF doesn't appear alongside it

@untold crest I almost have your overlay modified, I ran accross some snags I could not get the h1 teduced in size, and I could not get the body text left justified in the css. and you use use Color: #ff6 instead of color: #0000 etc so the color conversion is hard to work out a bit

Hi, is there a problem with the SE chatbot? It's not showing alert messages and when i part the channel and join it i have to refresh the browser to check on the status and it's not showing that it connects upon joining the channel.

You can create a custom command using the ${redeem <itemname>} to create your !hello to redeem an SFX. There is no way to remove the confirmation in chat for a redemtion at this time.

The bot counter in the widget section of the editor can keep track after each stream. As for making your stream deck add the points, as far as in aware the deck itself won't do it without adding extra coding on your part.

The easiest way is to just make a custom command (1 for you and 1 for chat) and enter it in chat everytime you want to update the score

Hey guys (hope that I am posting this into the right channel). I am thinking about to transfer from streamlabs to streamelements but I wanted to ask about one thing. Can I somehow to setup a widget and make it like a symbol (like re-use it in another overlays). For example: I am creating an alerts in one overlay then I am creating another overlay but when I click on widgets and select "alerts" I have to setup them over again. I know that I can duplicate the alerts into the another overlay but then when I change some alert in one overlay it will not change in other overlays.

You can either duplicate the alert box from 1 overlay to the others, or have the alert box on their own overlay and have that as a source in obs. Just need to remember to remove the alert box from your other overlays if you go down that route

if its from another site (like streamlabs, then our bot wont work if there are any !commands for it).

if its straight from a website then you can put the source straight into obs and use the "interact with browser source" to spin the wheel.

if its something from github or codepen then you can use the "custom widget" in the widget section to use it. again using the "interact" function in obs.

all of these can be done by using a browser source in obs to display it

I've changed all the values in the widget to 0 to show all alerts but still nothing. Wondering if this is a known issue, something I'm missing, or if having a host alert for 0 people is even possible via StreamElements?

Hi @shy pulsar I'll explain how we have it set up

These are the hosts that will show on your activity feed and thus can show alerts provided the minimum in the alertbox/chat alert is met:

• All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
• All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
• All auto host events with at least 1 viewer
  ** Note: An offline host is when you see "X channel has just hosted you" - with no viewer numbers on the back

Live channel that manually hosts = ✅
offline channel that manually hosts for 0 people = (this will show in your chat as "X channel has just hosted you" so you do still have an opportunity to thank this person if you'd like)

The filled bar displays the percentage of completion to your set goal.
So when you have got 25 followers and set the goal to 100 -> 1/4 of the bar will be colored.
If oyu rause the goal, the colored part will be smaller, as you reached a lower percentage which is already completed.

It's functioning as it is supposed to, displaying the data from the follower goal data

If you want a total follower count you will want to use the "Total Followers" widget

That widget is live, rising and falling using the data from Twitch

It's 22% out of a goal of 100 but 2.2% out of a goal of 1000

Did you add the Store redemption widget to your overlay. Did you set the store item as a Stream Perk?

@grave lance Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. I looked up on both dash boards and I dont see the persons name as a sub in my account that they did sub, yet they claim they did. What was just posted does not explain to me what is going on

My community SE side doing same way I had like G2apay and this problem is I can't see SEPay aswell and when I Auth said was 3 years old created but account been created 1 year ago. And not just that, since I dont see SE Pay only have PayPal on community 1.
