as its working now you should be ok,
if it happens again try refreshing the overlays or (the long way) part the bot, log out of the dashboard, log back in and invite the bot again.

Been having to re-login/authenticate with twitch everytime I open OBS Live despite checking remember for 30 days. Especially frustrating since I restart my stream pc every time before a new stream. Is this a known bug or isolated only to me?

- Make sure you are on the latest and greatest version of OBS.Live ( 19.5.27.394 )
- exit OBS (make sure OBS is not running)
- delete
%appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies - start OBS.Live
- Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect

It's a bank transfer and is subject to the same delays. Withdrawing before a weekend will end up taking the longest as banks don't generally handle transfers over weekends.

Goal progress is controlled at https://streamelements.com/dashboard/session. It's a counter that counts up with every follow that takes place, but doesn't count down for unfollows, either. No way to track those. But it's also protected against people who try to follow and unfollow over and over again, so that's not an issue either.

If the webm is properly rendered then it should work without issue. If you converted it from another filetype there's a good chance your converter didn't account for the transparency.

@woeful juniper I cannot do more than requesting to readd the browser source, part the bot, log out, log back in and invite the bot back to your channel and make sure you have not muted or paused the alerts in the activity feed.
Everything else would kinda need an eye of a staff I think.

- All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
- All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
- All auto host events with at least 1 viewer
Note: An offline host is when you see "X channel has just hosted you" - with no viewer numbers on the back

I'm having an issue where my store item redemption alerts are lasting... a LONG time on stream. I've tried adjusting the length in the overlay editor (even dropped the alert time down to 4 seconds) and the alerts still last for well over 10 seconds each. What am I doing wrong?

If OBS' fps are dipping, then you're overloading your GPU. Consider turning down your settings ingame or limit your FPS (with using vsync for example)

You still got quite some overload in this log. I think that was due to changing the FPS limit mid stream. I've seen that you managed to lock to 144FPS. Please go to your game settings, turn down Antialiasing. (Currently at 8x MSAA iirc), then restart OBS and give it another go. Also, try to throw some smokes. They're pretty heavy on the GPU

You don't really have to double/tripple buffer at such high FPS. That's better for 60Hz screens. Also, feel free to test it longer than 30sec. Play a whole game if you want to.

Fabi, what are you looking at in the log to determine GPU is overloaded? I’m encoding on X264 but see my frames in OBS go from 59-60 although inspect on twitch reports 60fps during my 8 hour stream. GTX1060 on Apex was awful, no actual frame drop though. Destiny 2 or League was fine.

Apex is the same a Rainbox 6. Unoptimized and GPU hogging.
You don't have to check a log. Just keep an eye on the stats dock mentioned above

hey there, I'm fairly new to StreamElements and I'm having an issue with the Store Redemption widget for overlays. For sound redemptions it will play the sound and the visual alert that says "username redeemed item" will come up but it won't go away after the set 5 second duration. The visual alert will stay on screen permanently and no further sound alert store redemptions can be played. Has anyone else experienced this issue or know of any troubleshooting ideas? Thank you!

One month ago I wrote about the problem, that viewers can get double the Loyalty Points for subscribing by announcing their sub in the chat.
This happens because SE thinks it is a new subscription (even if there are days between the sub and the chat announcement).
Is there a solution in sight or what should we do to avoid this problem?

I had to correct the points manually in the dashboard > leaderboard.
And they don't share it twice. They sub and get the points and then they can share in the chat that they subbed and get the points again.

I still have a problem with overlays not showing for streamelements. I can show the streamelements website or any other site or file in my obs browser (obs-linuxbrowser) but not the overlay.
I cleared cache, completely deleted the cache directory even.

@timid crag reloading after a pc restart is normal as the files are cached locally.
you can deselect the shutdown properties for the source, but you may run into issues if it wont reload, plus you will need to make sure that its only the !clip overlay, no alerts or anything else as you will get double audio

Ok, about the problem with the overlays not showing in linux obs, I have narrowed it down to a certain script that is used to show the overlays as I can even go to the editor, everything shows except for the overlay itself. I'm very sure that the problem is on SE side and not on obs or obs-linux-browser side. You guys have to have changed something in the last days.

To get access to the dashboard, the streamer needs to make you at least a bot supervisor in their dashboard settings.

.Mov are not supported by the alerts afaik. Best to use WebM.

This is happening since yesterday. Nothing on my end changed obs 23.2.1 with obs Linux browser plugin

Day before yesterday everything worked since the outage yesterday nothing shows anymore.
Only thing that changed is all of a sudden this error showing up in the debug log of Linux browser where before that error was not there.
It seems the overlay tries to load the obs.live scripts which I don't use and are also not available for Linux as far as I know

Yeah, yesterday we deployed the groundwork for some new obs tools that we're working on. It's not obs.live related. It's the obs browser api. I guess the linux version doesn't support these?

The latest version I know they are getting Linux support working in the standard obs-browser but that will only be in the next release which is not planned before October.

have you checked your session data to make sure the info is there? (In the editor under Data) if you only recently got set up with StreamElements, it doesn't have the history of gifters prior to SE being set up
