On the SE.Pay page it says under "How do I withdraw my tips":

You can withdraw tips to your bank account. Once you receive your first tip you’ll be able to add your bank details, and once they are approved you can perform a withdrawal every time you have more than $5 in your available balance.

If they choose SE.Pay it goes to your bank account, if they choose PayPal it goes to your PayPal, it depends on which option they choose when donating from the options you provided

So in conclusion, even if you have PayPal available as an option, if it goes through SE.Pay it is going to your bank account. Hope this clarifies 😃

@elder sorrel yes.The overlay does not overlap completely. If you add widgets to the left side, they will appear on the right side. If you add them to the right side, they won’t appear at all.

I have a major issue since I switched over to StreamElements. When I launch my stream with SE OBS, the output viewed on Twitch is a fully green screen.

I see that others here experienced the same issue and the solution was switching the color format in settings to i420. While that works, it impacts performance noticeably and is essentially unuseable.

Is there any fix for this? I didnt have this issue with OBS before StreamElements and I'd hate to have to switch to one of the other platforms.

i need help with the auto scene switcher, i'm using the in game overlay for LoL, and also a 'talk scene' overlay which i use for the client, champ select and loading screen. I'm trying to get it set up so that the auto switcher goes to scene 1 for champ select (i've accomplished this), goes to scene 2 for the loading screen, and then on to scene 3 for the 'in game' screen. the problem is that riot in it's ever present stupidity does not label the loading screen differently from the actual in game screen. so the auto switcher cannot tell what it should be doing and simply jumps from scene 1 to scene 3. is there a way of getting the switcher to recognize the difference between the loading screen and in game?

@winged pewter as your overlays are browser sources it depends on the speed of your internet on how long they need to load. To circumvent this you can use Studio mode in OBS and preload a scene before switching.

Slots is working fine for me, have you fiddled with the win percentage perhaps?
If you do a giveaway people need to buy tickets. You could price your tickets accordingly that only followers or longtime viewers could buy them.

the stream generally hears what your windows sound is set to, so it must be that you set something different in your browser or have changed the audio settings somehow. make sure OBS uses the "default" audio output or change it to the same audio output that windows uses @slate mulch

Does Streamelements Songrequest equalise audio for loud and quiet videos?

Song request can be very annoying becuase of changing volume so often, was thinking of turning it on but not if I will still have that issue

@karmic canopy it does not change the volume automatically in any way. You can change the volume really easy and even use chat commands to do that. Or your mods.

You could also ban certain tags like "earrape" "Bass boosted" etc to circumvent people trolling you with those

@frigid python Due to changes to Twitch API, we have filtered out hosts and will only show these ones on your activity feed:

• All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
• All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
• All auto host events with at least 1 viewer

I was wondering how to have a sound effect triggered with a chat command. Could anyone help with that? I think I understand the idea as upload the sfx to the redemption store and have it redeemable for x points. But what I would like to do is have a command that puts clap emojis in chat and plays a clap sfx.

@deep hound Steps to make a command trigger sound on stream:

1. Go to Stream Store page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/store/items
2. Add an item that has these settings on it:

• Stream Perk
• Loyalty settings to your desire
• (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)
• "Redeeming this item shows an alert
• Redemable via chat
• Skip Requirements

3. Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
4. Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
5. Add command with desired name and have response for command as: ${redeem item_name_here}
6. Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
7. Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
8. Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound
9. ???
10. Profit in viewer interaction and that dosh

@drowsy sail So, turn off ground control, open task maanger -> check if there is anything "bot.exe" open - if yes shut it down -> start ground control - make sure since you've enabled the custom bot name, to setup the 2nd twitch account properly again with the oAuth token and its actual name.

IE: Variation A might award the user 1000 points, variation B might time them out for one minute and variation C might make them a VIP.

Question is more suited for #dev-chat , but to answer the question here - from last time I tried it(2 months ago or so) - I had to put my JWT token the overlay in order to make the bot respond in chat, based on events received. Now I hope you know, but its not a good idea to have the JWT token in the overlay editor like that.

I'm considering whether or not I want to use it and whether or not it's appropriate for my stream and if so at what time.

it allows users to request their media to be played on stream. my best recommendation is, if it sounds interesting give it a try. you'll find out very quickly whether it works for your stream and your audience.

highly engaged audiences typically bode well for streamers.

Of course and I intend to maximize that aspect of my stream which is why I'm considering this feature. But I'd rather not implement this at the expense of my content/the game I'm trying to co-experience with my viewers. If that makes sense.

I was moreso looking for an example of it being used to see the effect it has on viewership.

it's a judgement call per stream. what works for others may not work for you and vice versa. the only way to find out is to try it. whether it enhances or distracts from the experience is very subjective.
