Hey, so I've used OBS for a while and a few months ago started using Stream Elements OBS.Live with identical streaming configurations, however Stream Elements OBS streaming results in a "video decode error 3000" on multiple desktops running newest Firefox(no extensions), and plain OBS streaming does not result in this decode error

Here's a shot of StreamLabs showing the last raid it picked up. These also show in my StreamElements List. I don't know if there's a way to go further back for events in Twitch, so I can try to match these up, and to look at the other times I was raided that Twitch did pick up and SL and SE didn't.

No. Not the one that Twitch shows from yesterday. The channel was offline but used the raid function from the dashboard.

I was wondering if that might be one of the causes of the raids not picking up.

• All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
• All hosts coming from an online channel. If the hosting channel has been offline, we do not show it
• All auto host events with at least 1 viewer

So I have a solid 15 generic timers, but it essentially adds a 16th or 17th timer if i have 1 or 2 timers exclusive to the game I'm playing.

Imported my alerts from Streamlabs & trying to figure out which settings I'm incorrectly using to have a single alert for gifted subs. I test with the community gift with exactly the right amount, but its ignoring the single alert & playing each individually. Any help on how I'm setting this incorrectly?

As it is most likely a custom css alert now, after you imported from SL, it is most likely hidden in the code, that there is one gift variation for gifted subs and you can't use the given template input in the alertbox for this not that good anymore. So I think you would need to extend the code with this variatuon alert.

@fallen lava For the stream all this sould be picked up by the desktop audio section, except her own voice. So you can only adkust it in the windows settings. The MR is afaik on the OBS slider, the chat on the chat program and the game sound on the game program silder. So adjust the volumes there.

I am not that familiar with the beyerdynamic headset, but I think it just gives back the desktop audio, which is the same, as the desktop audio slider in OBS. So adjusting the volume in the windows audio mixer should change the volume for these each program on stream, was well as in hear headphones.

There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points. It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time. Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

PS - Zimojo was previewing the alert in the overlay editor, which doesn't always show the alert with the correct timing or animation. Once he looked at OBS, he saw it was displaying correctly and not starting in the middle of the GIF.

@dawn island I was JUST doing some work on new alerts that involved that same exact thing. I tried many methods, and here is what I found- Using the text margins (located under "Advanced" for the text settings), you can control where the text shows up within the box. Just change the values and keep testing the alert until the text is where you'd like it to be. Here is the downside: I know exactly what you are referring to about the text scaling up or down based on the length of the name, and it cannot be done using the basic alert settings. It can be done, but it involves using the Custom CSS Editor.

Myself and a friend did some research, tried tweaking some things in the coding, but couldn't quite get it figured out. I have asked on social media and looked for tutorials on coding alerts, but basically what you're looking for is someone who knows HTML/CSS.

No, I don't think there are any plans. You can only change the bot name with a downloaded software, which has to be running in the background (GroundControl or OBS.Live plugin) at this time.

I think I have all my Media Request settings down correctly. I created an overlay with a MR window, and when I launch the overlay, nothing but a blank page comes up. Also, the YouTube video that I "show on stream" isn't playing in the overlay editor either.

I have setup points for them and for the most part it works a treat <3
Users can: View their points, give away their points, duel others for points, and gamble away their points.

Where the issue lies that has brought me here is, when me or the broadcaster try to !addpoints to anybody it replies that the user "was not found"
Interestingly !setpoints also works as intended too.

It is probably something very silly and obvious but I cannot figure out why it will not work, and would appreciate any help 😄

Your Laptop has two GPUs. OBS is running on the weak integrated Intel GPU. For better performance as well as game capture being available you should run OBS on the dedicated GPU. Check this guide: https://obsproject.com/wiki/Laptop-Troubleshooting

Also it is not recommended to stream via Wi-Fi.

Just checking - the pinned post on timers recommends if you have multiple timers to space them out, however the video and text on https://support.streamelements.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000366451-Timers suggests Timers are messages that run in your chat automatically. You can set as many as you like, both for offline and online. StreamElements will take care of the spacing between each message automatically.

hello, Anyone that can help with my OBSLive to Twitch error messages. Keep getting Error 2000 when I try to stream. Usually it runs fine on my stream starting screen then when I switch to my live scene its as if OBS is not able to send the info and it acts as if it is a broken link. and I eventually get error 2000 yet it still says I am live on OBSLive. In order to stream I have to use StreamLabsOBS. I even have all the stream settings the same as in SLOBS

I'm trying to setup something i saw another streamer use where she gives pirate names to subs, and they type !myname and it pulls a file based on their name and readlines it telling them their Pirate name

This is a screenshot of your Twitch channel?

Seeing this error on your Twitch channel page is a browser issue, has nothing to do with your streaming software.

Or maybe has to do with the way you're encoding the stream.
