Yes, this is corract. There has been issues where when SE send just one timeout command that this did not went through sometimes. So we decided to send out two every time, to make sure the person gets timeouted.

@lament blade I know this doesn't solve your problem, but I think it might help you in the long run if you aren't aware of it. You can use Chatterino for your twitch chat. To me, it's better and more reliable. especially for interaction. I don't think you can choose for it to open in your regular browser with obslive - i would run everything independently if you can. Chatterino is great though esp if you are a mod in other channels - you can mod multiple rooms at once in just one window

This is not on our side, this is a Twitch issue that doesn't tell in the chat that someone just newly subbed. Since it doesn't get notified in chat, we don't see that data.

I subbed to someone a few days ago just for testing out our loyalty bonus points to new subscribers - twitch didn't notify IN CHAT that I just subbed to the person, nor I gained the bonus points in return. This has been asked for the past few days here as well.

I have a very simple overlay consisting of only an alert box widget, a kapagen widget and a donation goal widget. I noticed that the obs-browser-page.exe that is responsible for rendering that source consumes roughly 30% of cpu usage (while being idle, i.e. when no alert/donation/emote event happens. Its more when an alert happens which is to be expected and not(!!) what i'm asking for. This is about the load while being idle). I played around and found out that each of them widgets adds roughly 10% to that load. is there something I can do about that? i guess this is because of them listeners for the events. but all of the 3 widgets are listening for the same events or a subset of those same events. Hence only one listener would be necessary. Is there something I could do to optimize this?

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

Evening Anne, when i stream with elements, im getting fps drops galour, render lag is in the red, and when i playback the stream after, its choppy, screen freezing when the sound is running fine, i stream at 1080p, at 60fps, with an upload of 4.5mbps, although my upload on the net is 17mbps, i can get AMD Relive to stream faultlessly, but the customisations of elements is what i really want to use

ahh I see, had to look up "AMD Relive" -- I am not familiar with that software. I always recommend regular OBS personally. unfortunately other than that recommendation you will have to wait until someone else who is more familiar is able to help.

Hey folks. Wondering if there's a reason why streamelements overlays sometimes load right away and sometimes take about 10 seconds to load. They don't always lag behind but I'm curious to see if there's something I can check to make sure this doesn't continue to happen.

the loading is down to how quickly your pc can download and process the overlays. you can minimise this by either using studio mode to preload it before switching or using a transition that will cover the duration of the load

I see. I have only recently started using a transition (which isn't a very long one) and still see it from time to time. My pc is very new and not a slouch and my 'net speed is pretty quick. I can try using studio mode I suppose and see if that helps.

1. the person would need to make the sub public so it shows
2. the other is this from twitch

when someone newly subs to someone, there seems to be a 50/50 chance of the new sub not being shared by Twitch in the channel's chat, which means that we won't be getting the new sub information and notify the streamer via alert/activity feed. As far as I know, there is nothing we can do and hope Twitch fixes it finally

To put it plainly, consoles can't do anything remotely fancy on their own. You need to get the gameplay onto your computer via capture card or remote play and do everything on your computer instead.

Steps to make a command trigger sound on stream:

2. Add an item that has these settings on it:

• Stream Perk
• Loyalty settings to your desire
• (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)
• "Redeeming this item shows an alert
• Redemable via chat
• Skip Requirements

3. Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
4. Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
5. Add command with desired name and have response for command as: ${redeem item_name_here}
6. Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
7. Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
8. Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound
9. ???
10. Profit in viewer interaction and that dosh

when I force refresh the page where it clears the cache of the overlay/cup

i spammed the shit out of a streamer friend's chat and got 1 emote only

Excuse me i have a problem with the stream elements leaderboard panel underneath my twitch. It doesnt show the data of my top chatters or the top emotes my chat uses. The only think that it shows is the points and the cheers. Also everytime i go to my chat stats page, it just give me a 404 page not found message

the cup behavior is expecting different users to spam the emote for example

not 1 person overusing the emote in 1 line

Because that's kindof what is currently happening. When I send the same emote to the channel, the event triggers on the editor and it was showing on stream before, but not anymore :(

Hi, I posted in here last night as I did my first stream using streamelements and alerts weren't popping up or showing in chat. Chat commands like !lurk worked. I could send test follow & host alerts that showed when I was live, but actual ones like follows or hosts didn't. Was asked yesterday what version of obs Im using and its 23.0.2.

You can't ban it, cause some settings for your steam will still be active. You have to make it leave at their dashboard.
