@lucid zealot I stream from ps4 and there is no easy way, either go into you private party and mute everyone when you talk to chat then unmute, use 2 mics (one for the xbox one for the stream), or just let your party hear you talk to chat.

when it came back, it asked me to log in to twitch and connect my account which i did

it brought up the twitch chat, and the twitch action window where you change what game you're playing etc, which i think is SUPERB

but when i logged out and back in, that action window no longer appears but i have two chat windows showing along with the twitch chat which shows up in a different popout window

how do i get back the stream information window?

When I log into Twitch in the settings, two extra panels pop up 1 is Twitch Stats (shows how many is live, current length of stream etc) and the other being a panel where I can update the stream info. However every time I reopen OBS Live, those panels are gone, and the only way I can get them back is by logging out and relogging into twitch in OBS Live. Is there anything I can do to get them to stay permanently?

I have a quick question, I just finished my first stream using streamelements for my alerts and it seems like when I get raided it will play my raid alert immediately followed by my host alert. I can't seem to find out why this is happening when looking through my alert settings. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

Raids are always followed by a host, as Twitch turns the raiding channel to a normal host. Who ever is left in the channel is also sent in as viewers.

One way to go around this is, to disable raid alerts in general.

In the overlay -> alert widget -> tick off raid -> save

hey yall im new to stream element i downloaded the OBS made my overlays and went to stream I could see the overlays on my twitch however when i went to use my in game overlay i couldnt see gameplay and it stopped streaming on its own on my xbox twitch app. What am I doing wrong? I am an LGBTQ+ streamer and I have tried taking as many precautions to stop trolls before they come in spreading hate speech. Unfortunately ever since reaching affiliate I have been getting more people trying to find was around it. Tonight I had some one follow me with a variation of f****t in their name. So because of that their name appeared in my chat from an alert, and they made it onto my loyalty point leaderboard. So Basically what I need help with, is how do I remove them from my leaderboard and how do I ban people who don't even type in my chat???

Sounds like it's referring to OBS.Live plugin if you have that downloaded with OBS.Studio.

Otherwise you don't need no extension. As you can use the Media Request Web Browser through Streamelements website open for media request.

When you edit your overlay in your overlay editor on the streamElements webpage, you can select the widgets tab and add the widget "MediaRequest" to your overlay.

With the custom font option in the overlay editor, how do I use a different font style? Trying to use Monsterrat ExtraBold, but I'm struggling

Steps:

1. Install the font on the streaming PC or choose a pre-installed windows font.
2. In the overlay widget settings, select Text Settings
3. Enable Custom Font
4. Type the name of the font as it appears in the windows font directory (This is usually C:\Windows\Fonts)

Try also to insert monsterrat in the custom font field.

@crude lodge looks like your canvas is way to big. Please set your canvas to 1920x1080 and then hold ctrl+f to make every layer (Gameplay, overlay) full screen to fit the canvas.

First time talking here, so don't know if it's the right place ^^ Thing is when I'm using an overlay from streamelements as capture - web source, while streaming at 60FPS playing at 140+, when a notification happens, my game seems fine (i don't see any change) but the FPS streaming goes down until 15FPS or so. Great, the issue I have is with the emote menu of OBS Live. It has all of my Frankerz emotes enabled on my channel but it contains none of the BTTV emotes I have enabled on my channel. It displays some BTTV emotes that are sent in the browswer chat but does not display a menu for BTTV emotes nor does it display gif emotes. Can you help me with this ?

• All manual host events (0 hosts included and if filter set to 0)
• All auto host events with at least 1 viewer

I wasn't able to open another chat in OBS other than OBSLive. So my problem is that I can't see a BTTV emote menu on there. theres not really much being "shoved", you can explore at your own pace.

the first thing you need to do is add the media request widget to your overlay(s)

if you click on the cog next to desktop audio make sure the output is set to what you are using.

All I have done is just added new variations since it stopped playing multiple alerts

Ok so I don't actually have a variation for a certain amount of gifted subs. I just have a bunch of different variations for when someone subs at tier 1. Which used to do a random one for each gifted sub (for example if someone gifted 10 subs it would do 10 individual alerts randomly from the variations)

but now if someone gifts 10 subs it just does 1 alert, and I have no clue why

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

The goal progress of any of the goals starts going up from the moment you sign up with us.

That means that prior to having an actual goal widget to your overlay, we've added some progress to it, based on how many times and amount people have cheered/tipped/followed/subbed

so if you want to start from 0 and the goal widget is newly added, adjust this goal progress
