Hi Guys! I just starting my adventure with streaming and I have some problems. Sometimes durring the stream video is lagging a bit. I try all configurations and always it's same problem. My specs: i9-7900x, 1080Ti, 32GB ram, 200mb internet. My stream settings 720p (same thing on 1080p) 6000kb bit rate and 60hz. Encoder I try both x264 and from nVidia. Any idea what can be wrong?

Any ideas: My Subscriber alerts are stuck for defaults even when i modify variants. After deleting all variants i get sound correct but its still left shark gif. Im just adjusting my setup to SE. Other alerts are fine.

@lament blade Make sure to alert your local authorities people might make false reports on your address and change your number. As far as chat goes, keep followers mode on, turn delay chat on in the twitch settings, and make sure you can trust your mods to deal with the accounts with a quickness.

They make accounts that contain my personal info and follow me with them. They spoof call me all the time. Even from numbers I know. They have had pizza sent here. Authorities know. Charges have been filed. Subpoenas have been issued to twitch, cell provider, internet provider, etc. hubby is military do homeland security is involved. It is big. Most aggravating thing is I have applied for partner and this is happening while I wait to hear back. Otherwise I would take a break from streaming until they were found.

If you are having fluctuation with your bitrate, nothing we can really do about it, its between your network, OBS, and your connection to the Twitch server. If it only happens in game, then there is a chance that something in your network, like your router, is prioritizing the game packets over OBS, and that is not really something that we can help with, it would be something that you would need to resolve.

Had an issue with SE today when performing a giveaway the !ticket or !enter command wouldn't work in chat. You could get tickets through the page, but no luck in commands...

Hello guys, have a small question about Overlay editor: I have 2 alerts widget installed into one scene (1 solely for TTS and another one for visuals). When I am trying to hide TTS alert widget (by setting its dimensions to 0 by 0 pixels), it works just fine at first, but later when I re-enter the same scene, that TTS widget is getting automatically reset to 950 by 750 pixels dimension.
How can I hide an alert widget so that it will not rescale itself back to default resolution?

Why do you need 2 alert widgets in the same overlay? This is not best practice.

@mild gull I tested the multiplier function and it works fine. It's likely your account isn't recognizing someone's subscription, perhaps because they didn't share it in chat. Just in case, you can try to log out and back in to StreamElements, but otherwise, if they didn't share their resub in chat, the system has no way of knowing they're a sub, as it's not reported through the Twitch API.

Their development is pretty far behind OBS Studio. Its not that they are always intentionally blocking things, but with such outdated parts and plugins in their software, we cannot guarantee reliability with their software. We recommend, and support the development of OBS Studio

There is a default command to set points: !setpoints. Maybe the broadcaster has to enable it, in case it is disabled.
We don't transfer points after a name change automatically.

Yea, I've been playing around with that setting and not seeing wins come from it. What seems to help is limiting the emotes from 5 to 3. At 100% I wasn't seeing any wins happen until I brought the emotes down to 3.

Try to set up the TTS in every Variation, too. The variation are ways to fine tune the alert depending on the "amount" given for the action.

Consoles can't handle overlays on their own. You need a capture card or remote play to get the gameplay onto your PC, and stream from your PC.

Cooldown doesn't reset when you change it.
If you had a one hour cooldown, used the command, and changed it to 5 seconds, you still need to wait that one hour.

Hey i got a problem with stream elements. my twitch username is iExile8 but when i go on streamelements site its stuck on my old username which is iexileog. it wont change it or anything. for example when i go to https://streamelements.com/iexile8 it shows error 404 not found but when i got to https://streamelements.com/iexileog its working but its on my old username before i changed it

Am i assuming correctly that this should change the StreamElements bot to what I have specified for my both channel. If so I went through all the steps and it's not working.
Custom bot name requirements
- StreamElements bot modded and in chat
- Active overlay with alerts
- StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
- Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
- Ground Control app must be running
Steps to enable custom name
- Sign in to https://twitch.tv/ with the bot account
- Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
- Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
- Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
- Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)
Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

just installed OBS.Live, it seems it made the "Stream Information" and "Twitch Stats" panels go away. is this supposed to happen? any plans to add support for those?

Settings -> Stream -> disconnect -> connect
Its a known issue that our plugin removes those windows after each restart of OBS, so the only work around at the moment is the one above.

Runs at about 10 in OBS only. Logitich software runs 30 no problem.

You just add a web page, set a custom resolution (1280x720 or 1920x1080) and you should be done 😃
You can also enable or disable browser excel oration in your advanced settings. Depending if your hardware can handle it

Steps to make a command trigger sound on stream:
- Go to Stream Store page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/store/items
- Add an item that has these settings on it:
- Stream Perk
- Loyalty settings to your desire
- (Next step) Add contents (image and/or sound you want to play)
- "Redeeming this item shows an alert
- Redemable via chat
- Skip Requirements
- Get the item name/command from the 2nd creation page
- Go to commands page here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/bot/commands/custom
- Add command with desired name and have response for command as:
${redeem item_name_here} - Go to your overlays and edit the overlay you use.
- Click on "widgets" and add "Store redemptions" widget. Click save and you should be golden.
- Test your own command in chat and have OBS or editor open to hear sound
- ???
- Profit in viewer interaction and that dosh
