Does anyone use the Pretzel Rocks desktop client? I find that as soon as it starts all my other sounds (including StreamElements browser sources in OBS) get very faint to the point where I almost miss the notification. This doesn't appear to cause any issue on the stream side of it, just my side of things.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help with my streamelements. Currently I use the Overlay editor in SE to send notification sounds from my computer into my mic and onto the stream while im streaming on PS4 (My PC is in the shop). I was using this method for a while and randomly yesterday it stopped working. I can force say, a follow, or a sub, and the text to speech, sounds everything works. But when someone that is not me has donated, subbed, followed, etc. Nothing happens

Is there a way to merge users in streamelements? I have viewers who changed twitch name and I would like to merge their old data (hours watched and currency) with the new name.

We can only track when a streamer changes their name, but if one of their viewers changes name, we can't connect their new name to the old one. We just get them as a pure name from the viewers list and assign points to them.

This means we can't transfer watchtime, but you can transfer points manually to their new name.

Hey! I'm hearing my Stream Store audio redemptions come through more than once.. I've only got the store redemptions in one source in the scene, but I hear it repeat about 5 times.. Just want to check, if I have the redemption widget in other layouts in other scenes will they all play at the same time even if the scene isn't active?

Custom bot name requirements

• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

Because for quality wise, you and ease of settings - having the mic on a separate audio channel is better, since you can control the audio levels directly from OBS

if the game + music are louder then your mic for your viewers

General volume control is one thing, but gain controls what the microphone can pick up around your voice like echo

but both play a factor on how loud you will sound to your stream.

ok new question... I added the countdown feature to the leaderboard extension panel on twitch, and I've tried setting and resetting the default tab to points instead of countdown, but it keeps defaulting to the countdown when i visit my channel

Unfortunately, its just a limitation of the current overlay editor. The editor is on the list somewhere to get some love, and rotation of images is one of the most requested features, so it is on the list of considerations for when the overlay editor gets some love

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

Guys I need help. I'm doing a charity stream today. I have my campaign with Tiltify and have my donation tracker and alerts all set up. HOWEVER this is part of another main campaign. I am part of a bigger team. The team has a master campaign with mine underneath it, along with several others. When I attempt to create a second donation tracker using the main campaign link, the widget doesn't pull any data...no goal and no progress. Any idea what's happening?

I am having issues with my stream freezing again. I was able to do an 8 hour stream last night with no issues, but right just my video froze twice and i had to press the default button in my sources settings for it to work again. Any reason why this would happen?

Even selecting or deseleting "use the entire screen for emotes" with Kappagen changes CPU by 3-4%

Kappagen is one of the heavier resource widgets, and will require some CPU, even when no emotes are being displayed

@narrow coyote , doing some experiments this morning, even if I hide everything on my game overlay in elements (which means OBS is displaying nothing from streamelements) it still uses about 14% GPU. My other overlays use 6% and they are displaying pictures.

Something in that game overlay is creating the extra CPU usage

Open task manager, expand OBS, see what is taking the most CPU. Disable each source, and close the chat and activity feed one at a time until you see what is taking the most

OBS.Live really should not take up much more resources compared to OBS Studio, but it has been seen on some systems with older CPUs

Ok sooo huge news @jade remnant I selected to separate (front from back) outputs on the on board audio drivers on my Supreme FX audio card THIS ALLOWED me to load my Browser on a separate line AND ALSO have my other PC & game audios . Additionally! As a first attempt fix.... simply delete and re-add the SE url (found in the editing overlays page to each scene of OBS with the properties of SE browser . I hope this helps someone who has been tortured for a long time.
