@silk edge This will have to do with your canvas size in your broadcasting software. Sounds like you are using a non 16:9 aspect ratio. Twitch enforces a 16:9 aspect ratio, so if you have a different aspect ratio you are outputting to or capturing, then you will get letterboxing

Settings > Video. But if the source you are capturing is not 16:9, for example, using an ultrawide monitor, you are going to be dealing with stretching/squishing of the image, or letter boxing

I don't believe there is a way for it to autodetect what game you're playing and have it automatically use a specific overlay.

At least as far as I'm aware.

I usually just change the game capture program while in studio mode and then switch manually.

It's very important to his viewers as some have hundreds of thousands of hours and it's what's concerning him and his viewers. Is !watched imported from SLOBS to SE and if it's not automatically, is there a way to pull it out as a CSV and import it somewhere somehow?

so you don't have to reset the countdown timer manually, just set a date/time on it and you will be good to go for the contest countdown and show it on stream when you go live and don't have to keep OBS open 😃

@twin sentinel maybe Kappagen is not present on that overlay OR chat listener stopped to work (sometimes twitch breaks connections, this happened today a lot of times in Poland as their Warsaw server was glitchy), the best way is to check either this overlay of presence kappagen and/or reload overlay

Switch item to "stream perk" and allow redemption via chat and change that from !redeem item to ${redeem item}

But I have got another question regarding this.
How can I restrict the emotes not to leave the box, I restricted them to?
ATM they are flying partly outside of the box and "coming" back in some times.

I see that you can add widgets and such on the online editor, but, it's a bit difficult (I'm more use to the StreamLabs way, but, moving to StreamElements now). There are 2 work arounds as this is a Twitch App issue:

1. Reinstall the twitch app
2. remove the /me in front of the commands or change them to not respond that way.

So, when they do that, i have to go to the leader board, search the 2 users and take points from one and give them to the other

and that command knows that it has to take 500 from the user1 and give 500 to the user2

that you add via text source in obs

We on the other had call those labels - widgets and you add to your overlays.

@kind epoch Alerts are working fine, if it was a single event, that would indicate something specific to the event. What type of event was it, and is it in the activity feed? Also, there is nothing required for alerts, like ground control, you just need an active overlay with an alert widget

@jade remnant If everything is in the right tab, try setting the counter to a number or set it to 0, I recall when testing it I had to do that. Ex !editcount wins 0

@prisma grove the thing to remember is that you can't please everyone. There are people that hate using paypal. There are people that hate using credit card, etc. Having multiple payment options for them is to try to reach the middle ground. Plus, these things are protection for yourself. Yeah, it may make some people not happy about some information we record, but we record them for a reason. If someone charges back, we protect you by making sure they can't tip anyone else. We track their twitch account so we can see where that information is coming from.
