For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. @zenith widget we have recently converted all of our points over to SE, we have 1 viewer who is showing as 0 exp with the correct number of hours even though his name is 2nd on our leaderboard right now. so upon checking, there seems to be 2 of the same name. 1 being the import and one being the manual adjustment from me. However, the problem is that i am unable to delete points from or remove the incorrect one. If i try to delete the broken one, it removes the correct one

@flat pebble 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly. There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points. It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time. Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

• StreamElements bot modded and in chat
• Active overlay with alerts
• StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

Last night i ran a giveaway that i had setup through streamlabs

and the streamelements bot contradicted my streamlabs bot

Is there anyway to make the streamelements bot mimic or not contradict the streamlabs chatbot?

The overlays work, but you are limited in what you are able to do. You best bet would be to discuss those options with Bebo support. Animated scenes are heavy, as they encoder has to pre-render everything first, which causes that 1-2 second delay even on high end machines

@weary mist I understand the delay you are talking about. That is not what happened. What happened was the Starting Soon scene ran for 15 minutes. I transitioned to the Talk Show scene but all that was streaming was the StreamElements home page when you are not logged in. I then checked all the rest of my scenes which were all showing this home page, including the Starting Soon scene which just ran fine for 15 minutes.

that is odd. The only way that should happen is if your overlay token was reset, or the overlay items were deleted from your My Overlays page

that is dependant on when twitch notifies us that you are online. That itself only effects chat commands/timers as those are able to be set to offline/online/both

twitch itself can take up to 15 minutes to send notification through the API that you are online

no, when the interval is met, the bot checks the chat to see if the chat lines were met in the past 5 min, if they are not met in the past 5 min, the timer is reset

I would suggest you make an offline timer, with 0 chat lines, set it to 1 min, and see if that fires off

I am playing the music per second computer, which means, that I need to keep the option "Show on stream" on, to make sure that it is being played by my second PC. Hey stream elements. I have been having issues getting my streamelements chat to display onto my OBS, while streaming on twitch. I am able to see the chat through twitch. But it doesn't pull through to OBS. I have refreshed the cache on OBS, which didnt work. When I look at "my channel twitch chat box" in my overlay, the text doesn't seem to have a colour assigned to it. When I assign a colour and save, the same thing happens and it will ahve no colour assigned to the text? I wonder if this is the problem, would you please beable to assist me with this?

no, the thing with affiliate is that you are not guaranteed transcoding settings (quality settings) so most of the times viewers will be restricted to source as the quality option, and a high bitrate can make it so some viewers will get a lot of buffering

x264 is the preferred for visual quality, but depending on what game you are streaming, you could try nvenc encoding, to see if you can get a more stable higher framerate, even something like 720/48

you could probably leave the advanced option enabled, but uncheck the enforce encoder settings option. I dont use the simple settings view, so I dont really remember what the advanced options check box does

the other option will do just what it says, where it will restrict the bitrate to twitch's encoder settings, so with that, you could not go over what they sepcify for bitrate limits on your output

if you uncheck that option, then yes it should, unless you have a net issue, or twitch does some twitch stuff to derp out

with it checked, it would also make it so if you set your bitrate to like 6k, and twitch had a limit of 4k for 720/30 that your bitrate will not go over that limit

@pulsar gulch yeah, it looks like if you use simple view, and check the use advanced settings option that should use the encoder settings set in the advanced view. I am not 100% sure, but it might just use the settings like the profile and preset, and bitrate is set based on the view you are in

If they're not showing, log out (https://streamelements.com/logout) and log back in and theres no reason it shouldn't show the next host you receive but if it doesn't show - come back and we can explore more options.

Custom bot name requirements

• StreamElements bot modded and in chat
• Active overlay with alerts
• StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.
