This was answered above. The button is in your overlays section.

It doesn't auto-adjust the positions of everything, as mentioned, so it will require manual adjustment.

Twitch prime (new and resub) and paid subscriptions (resub only) must be shared in chat manually by the person subscribing in order for the subscription information to be sent to StreamElements. For twitch prime, the user needs to have sharing enabled on https://www.twitch.tv/settings/prime. Hey all, I have kind of a silly question. I recently started streaming and there's a viewer that continually gets automodded by the bot. He literally says "hi" and gets dinged for a chat violation. As far as I can tell, it stays like that until I open up the source settings, re-paste the url and save the changes.

then it changes automatically. Another thing that happens is certain elements don't load. For instance, when I'm on the "stream countdown overlay"... the countdown clock itself doesnt load. Could this be a internet connection/bandwith issue?

Chatbot (client): Will it be available anytime soon? I don't NEED an application, but it makes things much easier. The "Ground Control" app isn't really that useful.
Sound effects for specific users (User1 can use sound.mp3, others can't)
Are the timer events randomized? Example: 7 timer events and event 3 is being picked randomly, instead of 1 through 7 and looping
Can I give viewers ranks? I've got about 50 ranks set up and the viewers will probably want to keep them (based on watched hours)
Active chatter bonus on points? Also more points for being a regular? Different multiplier for subscriber? 2x is a little bit high.
Are points given only when the stream is online? The loyalty page doesn't give any information about that
Points for sub gifts? Is the person who gifted it rewarded or the "subscriber"?
Automatically give "Regular" to a viewer after x hours. Is it possible?

Sometimes I gotta make commands on the fly. It's possible to do per web overlay, but an app is sometimes a little bit faster and more productive (especially if I don't have to login, using two pcs for streaming)

Hey there! My Cheer alerts are not consistently showing. They show on my activity feed but will not pop up on my overlay

I can see from the control box, the red outline, that it is oversized

if you right click on it, there should be a fit to canvas option, its ctrl+f on pc so maybe cmd+f on mac

it shuts down the source so it is not running when it is not visible, and would enable and load as soon as the source is visible. If you dont set that, the countdown will keep running until the overlay is reloaded

if you have an overlay with audio, like alerts, it would play the audio in any running source, so you can get audio echoes with multiple alert widgets

Ok Kite - that worked. PLUS I noticed my Lock icon was Unlocked... allowing changes to be made to the sizing. Even if it's just Mac OBS making it by itself. By locking that icon, it seems to have fixed it.

@primal mantle please edit the link to your channel. As for editing thr playlist i suggest doing it from the dashboard them GC as its known that GC is buggy with the current version of Media Share

@trail condor the widget itself isnt limiting any of the events so there has to be something else in play here.. did more cheer events show up in the DATA tab (top of the overlay editor) under "Session Data" ?

hey people! My wife kinda has an issue with tips not going through, she's using the streamelements tipping page. I know the tips go through paypal, but the person who donated says he got a "success you tipped" message on the tipping page but there's no money taken from him and no paypal payment pending or anything. Any tips on what could be wrong? She successfully received donations in the past, last one being on July 29th. (if you need the tippping page I can link it)

streamElements just keeps track IF a transaction took place . then it becomes a event and there for a alert.
If the Site said it was successful its just a confirmation that paypal didnt give US a Error message. that doesnt mean that Paypal couldnt do the transaction and still have an error.

I am pretty sure its Paypal issue he should try to donate again if he doesnt mind

I'm having some issues using the preset theme overlays from your website. It looks amazing, but when i do transitions they always seem to load in slowly. @slender yoke only thing I could Imagine that you could do is, making a own Overlay for your Alertbox - deleting every alertbox widget of your overlays - Insert the Browser Source of the AlertBox Overlay in every Scene and setting it to "Shut down if not viable" - Disable the "Shut down if not Visible" to all Overlays you have so they dont have to load.

This could fix your issue with the loading of the overlays but it mot certainly cost you more CPU

@narrow coyote If you use hot keys for each scene, and then on stream deck use 'Hot Key' under system instead of the OBS SCENE function, it loads the scene in the preview. Then use a hotkey for the transition and voila! It works!

you should be able to resize it, until you reach the native resolution of the gif, unless you are using custom CSS, then I am pretty sure you would need to specify the size in the CSS

The position and size will be for the widget itself, if you increase the size of that, and the gif does not get any larger, that would mean the gif is at 100% size

so i would say do what kite told you, change your donation link to your SE tipping page, then users will get rewarded with points for tipping. kite also showed you that following rewards 200 points, and i showed you how to get notified of 0 viewers hosts.

StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

I feel dumb, I'm logged into twitch with the name I would like SE to use, but the twitchapp link for the oauth is giving me a really short code, I paste it into the JWT section on ground control section, and nothing happens. I logged into the SE website with the other account (bot account) and used the JWT token from that and still nothing. T__T What am I doing wrong?

G2A Pay would need to be enabled manually for you, it is primarily for streamers outside the US. There is an option to enforce login, so users have to login with their Twitch, and that is the best protection against charge backs

is anybody else having issues with the streamelement bot not showing hosts in chat but showing in activity feed with 0 and there are a few i know that have viewers in the background.

The chat alert module by default will filter out hosts that are under 1 viewer, unless you set this to 0

@floral badger We dont have Mixer support, and the YouTube features, including bot, are separate for each platform, so you would need to configure this separately, the alerts are also separate for each platform

@fading fossil Make sure to :ballot_box_with_check: “Shutdown source when not visible” for all browser sources (all OBS scenes). So I have low hopes with the previous question, but is it possible to have a command with multiple responses or something like the popular Nightbot quote command?

For example, in nightbot, amouranth's stream had a !rule command where we could write !rule 1 and it would pull the 1st entry, or !rule 3 for the 3rd entry. Or am I better off using streamelements quote command?

@maiden ledge not sure what you mean, as there is a quote command with SE. You can !quote add/remove and trigger quotes with !quote or !quote <number>

A channel I moderate uses the ${random.chatter} variable. Is there a way to re-reference that same output? I've tried ${user2} and ${2} with no luck (there is a ${user} variable in the 1 slot)

@daring pagoda i am pretty sure that is not possible, as the bot can't be triggered by its own messages, thus making re-referencing impossible.

@split basin i am not sure what went wrong. did you insert the browser source in OBS, set the resolution of said browser source to 1920x1080 and made sure the browser source was situated above your game source in OBS?

I cant really help with that, my only suggestion would be to try OBS Studio, or OBS Studio with our plugin OBS.Live. StreamLabs has also been known to try and block our services, and we cannot guarantee reliability with their applications

yes, because the mic/aux is your mic. the iphone sound i couldnt tell tbh, are you playing fortnite on iphone and streaming that? in that case that would be the game sound. you still need an audio source to pick up your mac sound for the alerts to play

The overlay audio would be playing through the main audio device for the computer, if you are not capturing that audio device, there will be no audio from the overlay
