Depends on what's in the overlay, like animated elements, hype cup, kappagen (all these are more CPU intensive) and what your computer hardware is as well as your encoding settings

I keep having issues where I have 3 different scene layouts for different camera areas and sometimes when there's a notification it'll play it three times and I have to switch my scene to the other camera angle so it'll finish the notification and won't do the double notification.. super weird but annoying as hell lol

• StreamElements bot modded and in chat

• StreamElements tipping page in the panels below the stream (!panels)
• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

Make an overlay with an active alert and use it. If you've changed your tipping link on the panel, that means that you won't see tip alerts on SL, so you will need our alert box.

You can import most stuff from SL if you'd like.

If you've enabled the "redeem via chat" option on the item you will get its name as a variable you can place. For example:

@somber token the goals dont reset until you reset them from the goals tab in the widget data. The StreamElements bot is not a mod in your channel, so it wont be able to time anyone out. if you type /mod streamelements in your Twitch chat, that should take care of it

ok, so if your OBS canvas is 1080p, you should make the overlay at 1080p, and set it to the same resolution in OBS.

even if your output is 720p

OBS will handle the downscaling when it composites the canvas before sending it to the encoder

if your canvas is 1080p its best to have the overlay at 1080p as well, you will get a much higher quality image overlay from that when it down samples. If the stream is lagging, that could be a few factors involved, including your hardware and encoder settings

It looks like the banned word system was updated, making the video out of date now. If you make a new phrase group, you should be able to add multiple words, phrases, or regex expressions, to make a list that way

A little puzzled to why this is not displaying a correct countdown time. Should be 00 days 23 hours. Also the Time Zone keeps saying America while in the configuration I have selected Canada's timezones. Have I missed a setting or does it take some time for the panel to do the countdown correctly?

You cant "delete" Full Controll. SInce no one has any Access

so if you log into Account 1 and there is no management accounts

I turn off the text to speech on the variation and it won't even talk when the minimum 10 bits is cheered.

This probably won't affect too many people, but I still hope this can be addressed. My problem is the filename of the Ground Control app. I really hate how Windows displays desktop apps by default so I customize everything with an app manifest. All of the apps I customize work fine except Ground Control because of the filename. the folder it installs to is fine and uses an underscore instead of a space, but the exe name uses %20 instead. I'm not sure why a URL encoded space character is used here, but that %20 breaks the ability to use appmanifest to customize the icon. I was wondering if perhaps someone could ask the people who work on ground control if they could replace that %20 with an actual space, or even an underscore so everything will work properly.

The reason I know it is the %20 and not something else, is cause i replaced it with a space and it instantly started working. Ground Control doesn't work with the exe renamed, however, so I can't keep it that way.

I have a !donate command through nightbot and when i got streamelements i imported my commands, i want to disable it through streamelements and have it run through nightbot, because when you donate through streamelements it does not appear on stream. I cant seem to disable it on streamelements though as it does not show up anywhere in my commands, any ideas?

the command comes up through nightbot and streamelements, the nightbot link is a streamlabs link whereas the streamelements is is a streamelements tipping link, even though i dont have the tipping enabled

i have searched for it on custom commands and i dont see it, which confuses me

No. This is Streamelements and we have our own plugin for OBS, while SLOBS its a fork of OBS - their own version of OBS.

Streamlabs develops and supports SLOBS, while the developers of OBS Studio, don't, as far as I know

a Fork for a program version means that the version being developed may become significantly different then the master version.

And we are not Streamlabs - if you want something done for SLOBS or plugins(if they have any, as I don't know), you are better asking their support or Discord.

If you want to see a live update on who is following you during streaming, use Ground Control app or the Activity Feed page. Left side of dashboard menu -> Activity Feed

Hi guys, back again. Still struggling with the 'chat stats' part of the extension and after delving a little more, i have found out that these stats are not showing for us on the SE site either. These settings also turn themselves back off again after saving and exiting. Could this be part of the problem?

Out of curiosity, why do you need the cam between 2 layers? But your answer is your 2nd question.

You can use the Duplicate layer feature to just duplicate/move the cam frame to a different overlay while it saves its actual position in the overlay

I see. Yeah use the diplicate feature - click on the widget/layer/frame you want and on the left side click on the 2 papers with the red dot - thats teh duplicate feature.

I accidentally deleted my Alertbox in the purple wave theme, now I have to set it up again. But if I insert this in purple wave as alertbox he takes the data from the last followers as an example. And does not display the alerts.

low latency mode, has nothing to do with delay of the bot.

@low spoke Like Kite said, the Streamelements bot is not in your channel. Any delay that can happen between you getting a new follower/sub/cheer can only happen on twitch's side. We are constantly listening for said events. The Tips alert is processed via our platform the moment we hear a callback from PayPal/G2A Pay that everything is fine.

Low latency mode is and should be mostly available for high viewer streams and its a on-demand basis, meaning that you may not get low latency enabled for you and it depends on your connection to their servers as well. This only affects you and your chat interaction.
