You add the OVERLAY and GAMEPLAY provided via the capture card into a program called OBS and then just stream to Twitch

I'm a tad confused. I changed my overlay's on the website to a 1440p resolution, but when I enter it in OBS as 2560x1440 it leaves it in a blank space. Am I doing it wrong?

I did try to add the browsers source, and set the dimensions as 1920x1080, and use the "Fit to Screen" feature on my 2k/1440p canvas, will that display okay on Twitch? (I am rescaling as 720p ofcourse 😃 ) Any help is appreciated, please and thank you ❤

@ornate quarry when you change the overlays on the site, it just adds more space to work with. If you want to make it scale, set it to the 1080p the themes were designed at, then set your canvas in OBS to 1440p, then create the browser source at 1080p, save, hit CTRL+F

@jaunty nacelle The !editcounter command works for count variables created like $(count name). If you just used $(count), you have to use !cmd options cmdName -count 1

when events come in, they always register

Twitch takes 15 minutes to notify through the API if you are online, so after that, it should say you are online (again, this only changes the red light, and activates any chat commands/timers that are market as online)

Does anyone else have the issue where the token bounce setting on the Hype Cup doesn't work with the initial dumping of tokens into the cup? I set the token bounce to 1 and all of my initial fill tokens bounce right out of the cup, but when I replay events manually, there's almost zero bounce on those tokens.

@dark sleet As for the command, check your custom commands as well. Most likely the donate command is an alias under !tip. I would suggest to check most commands that may relate to the tipping page.

@ashen ginkgo I'm not sure...if your friends are having issues loading your tipping page, then they have something that blocks the site. I scrolled up and saw others helping you out with the same problem and you mention it doesn't work then it works.

I'd suggest telling them to refresh the page with CTRL + R or CTRL + F5 (this is called a hard refresh)

Other things that come to mind, they have something that is blocking them from acccessing the site

So im tryying to get Custom Bot Name to work with the Ground Control software but it doesnt want to work when I click test bot

• Create a twitch account for the name you want to use
• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

Hello, I'm new to the discord but looking at the questions that are asked, I think I'm in the right channel to post my question. I'm sorry if I'm not.
My problem just occured today. I don't stream super often, but when I wanted to start my stream today , I noticed that 3 out of 4 scenes with different overlays did not work. (My in game overlay, BRB, Stream starting) The Stream ending scéne does work.
When I go to the streamelements webpage to search on this issue it says
"If you're seeing a white page/overlay with a Help button on the bottom right corner, there is a cache problem.

1. If this is happening on your browser, perform a hard refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R.

2. If this is happening on your OBS, edit the Browser Source properties and click the Refresh Cache button."
   For me it happens on both. When I launch the overlay trough the website I get a blank page (without a Help button) (in chrome & edge). When I try to open it in internet explorer It gives me the help button. but using Ctrl + shift + R doesn't help.
   Also resetting the cache in OBS didn't help.
   Can anyone help me with this issue please? 😃 Thnx!

Its never been configured to be one after the other. I'd suggest to not have all the minutes/timers on the same type of minutes...for example 5/10/15/20/25 minutes or 7/14/21/etc

Hi all, I have a question regarding my overlay. I'm using one of the overlays from SE and wanted to use the Stream Beginning in XX:XX countdown overlay

unfortunately, when i used it yesterday, the countdown didn't work. Is there some place that I need to set the time? I changed the original countdown from 10mins to 2mins while editing the overlay itself and thought if I just used the overlay, it would countdown on its own

Hey guys, so while I was streaming a friend of mine gave me donations but the alert didn't pop up, when I went to the StreamElements website I could see the donations on the dashboard but on stream It didn't show anything. I use streamlabs obs btw

@icy lantern Make sure to open the browser source settings for that overlay, and hit "Shutdown when not visible". Then, when you switch off that overlay, and go back, it will refresh the cache of that overlay, and the timer will restart. Each time

If it was fine under a different user account, it would seem that there is something different between the accounts, maybe the audio device it is playing from, or if you used some other audio software that has per user settings, like a sound mixer or equalizer

If the only thing that changed was user account, my best guess would be something software related, like the audio settings that could be set in the device properties, or some other software that can do things like audio equalization

Close the web browser and try adjusting the audio levels again, if you are using show on stream, try toggling it off and adjusting audio levels again

I am having an issue where a super theme that I've been using and loving on OBS has magically decided to not show up despite the browser source remaining unchanged and the editor showing everything just fine.

Is there a way to use channel-specific emotes in custom commands without subbing the SE bot?

@lament blade I know you can use your own channel's emotes if you use an o-auth for your bot to act as you. To do this with the streamelements bot, download the ground control app, navigate to settings and scroll down to custom bot info and generate an o-auth for it 😃
