Just following up on the Prime sub and SE issue I raised after my Wednesday night stream, where the notification didn't display: i've asked the subscriber, he does have it set to share prime subs in his settings, and both Streamlabs and Muxy are showing it in their alert listing (even though neither had bots in my channel). Is there a wider issue, or does SE not see Prime Subs the same way other services do? Thanks. @zenith widget

@storm falcon StreamElements never touches the money. We just get a notification from Paypal it went through and that's when we trigger the alert

So if no transaction was made on Paypal. Seeing that there was no record of it in the other Account, there was no transaction taking place. So no alert. @storm falcon

If yes, we do have 2 swedish TTS voices you can use to speak out the messages, but those won't work on english messages

Remove the alert widget entirely and recreate it...but to avoid that, test with just adding a fresh alert widget and test with the sub messages. So right now you have standard profanity protection enabled and the way it currently works is as a regular expression. Meaning the standard profanity protection includes ass saying glass will disable the alert. we can set it to censor it out that way the alert still plays but any bad language will be hidden

@shy mist emulating events will not show chat alerts, they have to be real events

@dense radish The best solution is to configure one widget in an overlay, and then use the duplicate widget button to send it to the other overlays, then you would just need to go into the other overlays and delete the old widget

Question: I have special alerts for subscribers and raiders. I would like the alert sound to continue if I switch from in-game scene to a talk scene. Even if I have both scenes with the 'shutdown source when not visible' unchecked, the alert sound cancels out if I switch scenes. Can I prevent that from happening?

Store redemptions continue to play if I switch scenes, but not alerts.

No, you just need to make sure you are on the most recent version of OBS. OBS.live is a plugin.

For that error, it sounds like something that happens when there is a certain file being locked. A restart of your comptuer, and running the install file first (before opening anything) can help

@fluid quest first, open an overlay in the editor on our end, and add the Custom Event List widget (in the stream labels section). Then just copy/pasta until complete. Then, if something doesn't work as intended, check out the guide for that exact widget in #dev-chat, as it will point you in the right directions for what needs to be changed if needed

Thats what im trying ot figure out, I bought a friend streamer of mine the Clearview one from NOD, Works perfect as everything is seperate elements, took about 2 hours to set everything up perfect. change the videos in the standard alert box, import overlay images all that stuff... piss easy. the only thing you need to add locally is the background animated videos. Make sure the 1st box is ticked, 2nd unticked, 3rd ticked, 4th unticked and 5th ticked when adding the media sourch

There might be something that changed with this plugin that those tools look for. It could even be a simple text file with a specific name that is looks for. This is the first iteration of the plugin, and there are bugs, but this one is not one that we can very easily figure out, especially because lachhhtools isn't something largely used with our system (because we provide an all-in-one platform)

The bot name is modded however if i press the join channel button it just puts the streamelements bot in, not my named bot. What am i doing wrong?

4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

@warm spire Ok, so twitch has something called "transcoding" which is open to channels that are affiliate and partnered. In order to get that transcoding as affiliate, he needs to have a current viewer count of I think it was 75+ viewers, in order for Twitch's system to provide transcoding(or in simpler words, to provide the options for different quality control by the viewer)

Twitch partners have transcoding enabled on their channel by default afaik, as they can always pull 75+ viewers when they go live

@warm spire If his stream is buffering for you or his quality is too much for you, you can ask him to lower his bitrate to lets say 3500-4000 bitrate and output his video quality to 720p

Hey, we have added the Mediarequest recently but have now the problem that REQUESTED songs get skipped and songs from the backup-list are getting played instead, even though the requested song was in the queue as next song to play. Hope someone can help there 😃

Have you tried playing the requested song on your own? Getting the link and opening it? Sometimes when the song is blocked in your region it just gets skipped.

(but sometimes the media request just freezes and needs a manual skip bcs of said youtube region or label claims)

The twitter module is enabled is most likely enabled for your twitch and youtube accounts so it posts in both places. The chat overlay just picks up what is posted in chat but streamlabs probably has a setting to ignore certain users

As for getting a properly overlay on top of your Xbox gameplay, you will need a capture card, hooked up to a PC that has OBS on it

Overlays are then added to OBS and the gameplay video source from the capture card as well.

@radiant crest Well its getting colors right mostly and positions if you want to fully mimic it.

If everything is part of their alerts, you can try to import them, but if its an overlay setup in SLOBS, I don't know if we can import that, as it exports in .overlay file, which last thing I know we can't import that to our overlays.

All the alerts things SL have on your account can be imported via our import tool here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/import

and it goes into 1 condensed overlay

Usually any custom CSS they have should be imported properly. If it doesn't work, you can poke in #dev-chat for assistance, but most variables are located in the pinned messages in said channel, so you can just replace them if you have to after the import

Is there a way to setup the chat element without it cutting off words like this at the top? Like I can increase the height but depending on the sentences, it'll just cut off at different parts. Idk if I'm explaining what I'm looking for well.

Nah it is not part of slobs, I rather not touch that with a 6ft pole.

It is just base widget with one of their preset styles

@plucky marsh ну рестрим чат это другое. у нас интеграция твич чата и он простой. главное чтоб был на месте. рекомендация - монитор в потретный режим и обс на всю высоту и читайте на здоровье)

Edge does not paly well with the site, as its optimized for chromuim. Chrome is the preferred browser, upload should work no problem in a different browser
