your options look like they are going to be very limited, you want a low rtt and a high quality

i would suggest doing 30 fps, and around 2500 bitrate if you are using x264, and 3000 if you are using nvenc

and you still might have buffering due to the quality of the connection to the twitch servers

the stream itself seems stable, based on the overlay animation, might want to set the fps on the browser source to 30 to match the stream, but the gameplay did not appear smooth, that might be more of the game and its settings

Hey when I was making an overlay from scratch I added an alert box but when I try to change the image that's shown for my subscriptions it still displays as the default blue shark. I hit save and all my other alerts are changed to what I want them to be. It's just my sub alerts that won't change to the video with my logo

Anybody know what would cause the Streamelements Sub overlay to come up, but not with any video? I had a 20 or so meg video with audio set to both my default Sub, and multiple month sub alerts, but every time I tested it with any video it would only have the text even though the webpage showed the video (The image is my Preview window for my stream.)

I converted the video to a GIF and uploaded an MP3 as the alert sound and that works perfectly fine, just a drag to do that for every MP4.

OBS Does not have the lastest version of Chrome inside of it, and Chrome has implemented a function that disables audio playing videos without interacting with the tab first

so MP4s will not work for the time being

Once OBS updates and enables the function, then it will work.
That's why it works in tab, but not obs

Then I would make sure that you dont have anything blocking communication from ground control, like a VPN, proxy, firewall, or anti-virus

if something is causing the communication to be blocked, I would not expect that to make a difference.

its all done via the API, you put in the token, the app reads it, and displays options and activities based on that. If the token is wrong it would tell you, but since it just says you need to enter the token, it really seems like something is blocking it

@zenith widget at last. About that issue of video alerts not playing sound in any output (browsers and obs) I went deep on this issue. Yesterday I found that with obs 32bit was working. but then after a laggy night streaming (that was really painful and yes extreme "solution"). So I started all in a, maybe non sense. Review of my sound system. I never liked the realtek drivers (it really sucks, but sucks all over the way. Personally I have to have that native in my Main board). I removed the driver and connected (instead of jack a USB headphones through windows drivers) it happens that as magic the whole sounds started to work back again as It was before. So now I can hear the alert music in my headphones (witch is pretty useful to get my attention of what is happening on the livestream and chat). And also video alerts now are playing sound/music with mp4/webm or gif+sound.
So I address this issue right to Realtek. Thank you for the help!! Seriously I lost 2 nights trying to solve this....... Its pretty neat right now. If it is important my specs

23:21:39.904: WASAPI: Device 'Microphone (2- Trust Gaming Microphone)' initialized (just that initialized ). Notice all sounds in my PC was working "pretty fine", desktop audio, mic, windows sounds, other sources. Only video alerts made with streamelements was causing this issue. For the record, even more strange, only internet explorer browser was playing the alert sound. I love you guys, thank you for the amazing support.

I can't seem to find a way to remove any sort of "top commands" that could be deemed offensive. It seems that whilst I was offline a person by the name of Taburz_Blism has gone into my twitch chat room and spammed things such as !jack_loves_hitler to "troll" me. Custom bot name requirements

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

Mac does not currently support renaming the bot.

@last oriole 10 minutes of watchtime are given to those in chat when the loyalty points are handed out (every 10 minutes). Therefore, loyalty must be enabled for watchtime to work properly. There is no direct link between watchtime and all-time points. It can’t be calculated from the amount of all-time points a user has because subs may earn points at a faster rate and !bonus all command increases all-time points for users in chat at that time. Giving points to a single user does NOT affect all-time, only when giving to all in chat.

So I tried adding a gif to it but OBS would just crash. Is there any other way? I know you can use "Media Source" but then you only have 1 gif playing over and over. Would like to add a Media and then make it blank for a short time and play another gif I made. So it will be more noticeable when it pop up.

Few things to try, reboot machine and run the install before you run other applications. Make sure you don't have antivirus or something that could be holding a file in use causing a race condition

well, first of all, congrats on your new project being SE Live (gotta give credit first), now i been having some issues, as when i play an alert, first of all there is a problem with the activity feed, where alerts will show up on stream but for some reason doesnt show the volume playing with the alert, then afterwards the activity feed bugs out, and there is a huge problem with RAM leaking as it keeps consuming more and more RAM, despite the app crashing, the CPU ussage goes really high while using it, and it can be a pain for streamers with low end PC's, now i know this one is more something for me, but id love to have this as a plugin i can turn on and off, and not having to reinstall OBS if i want to delete it (cause despite disabling it from the menu, the problems were still happening)
Like i said, good job dev team c: you guys are amazing and keep up the good work! 😄
