@mighty cipher I would advise you to use OBS Studio rather then SLOBS. Slobs is know to be Unstable in terms of savng settings people complain often that all there scene set ups...
Maybe you set up your OBS Studio wrong , I dont use OBS but maybe in this disord can help you or in the OBS discord

I can't help you with the StreamLabs OBS, as that is a separate company's product. I do recommend trying to go live instead with OBS Studio, you won't have to deal with that cloud backup upload thing. All of our overlays are built in the cloud, no uploads needed

Hello, I'm running into an error with StreamElements and I'm not sure how to fix it?

My mod created a fun command that involves slapping people with a random fish. The thing is that it was created with Nightbot, but StreamElements has picked it up when I imported the commands. So every time someone writes in the "!slap" command, StreamElements spits out the code and Nightbot will just spit out what it's supposed to.

The problem is that StreamElements just literally pushes out the code rather than the result that Nightbot does (I've attached a picture for reference) and, when I go in to try to delete the command from StreamElements through the chat, it won't delete the command because it can't recognize it. Even in the StreamElements browser, there is no such command attached to the account, so I don't know how to remove it. Even removing it from Nightbot doesn't seem to eliminate the command when it's put in. Typing in "!slap" will result in StreamElements regurgitating the code despite not having the command attached to it.

How do I fix this? o_o Thanks for any help that you can provide!

The issue isn't on our end @rain mesa unfortunately. Many of our streamers have been reaching out to x-split for help for a varying list off issues when using SE + Xsplit :/

What you will want to do is to delete the existing gift variation, and create a new variation. You will just want to make sure that you set the variation to gift, and change the message. the default is {sender} gifted {name} a subscription! once you do this you will have the same image in the gift variation.

For some reason my stats/streams aren't being tracked... Dashboard shows a host I got, as does Ground Control, but I received multiple follows and didn't receive notifications through the overlay, nor are they tracked on the dashboard. Filters have everything checked. Overlays work fine in testing and aren't hidden. The only thing I can think of is some kind of verification/authorization issue or maybe there was a temporary service outage earlier? I've honestly got no idea. Just tested with my bot account and I receive the e-mail from Twitch for the follow, but nothing on dashboard.

hi guys. i have noticed that my obs is lagging when i have the overlay on lately. it makes the stream really studdery. I tried a whole bunch of different things, making sure vsync is on, monitor capture, window capture, etc, but it comes back to the overlay. I have them set to "turn off when not active" but if I have one active, it makes the video studder.
Does anyone know what i could do to fix this?

@frigid talon Well usually the raid and host alerts come from the same alert source via the twitch API, as far as I'm aware, but when a streamer raids, their channel is put into host mode automatically afterwards.

If you want though, you can disable one of the 2 chat alerts for the bot's chat alert mode:

Why does it have to be a store item? Can't you just have it like what you have set as a normal response command but without the redeemable item?

I have the media share widget working through an overlay but im running into one small problem. when I switch scenes my music stops like it should but when I go back to the scene the music is on it doesnt restart the music. is there a way to fix this?

You are essentially stopping the widget to work, so you most likely need to do 2 things:

1. Skip to the next video
2. Have the media widget on a separate overlay(thus in a separate browser source) and don't have the "Shutdown when inactive" option on it. This way it will continue playing regardless if you've switched scens(presumably)

First of all I'm trying to set it so that all subs get 3 free requests (which I assume are daily) and all there-after are tip only. I've tried setting the request mode on "via tip" and "both" and neither have worked for this.

So, the max free requests is, not daily, but until their requested songs are played, they won't be able to request more

For example, I have requested 3 songs and other people as well, but my songs are not playing, I cannot request a 4th song, until one of my 3 is played.

But I can pay you to have 4th song

if I so want to.

As for the SR to be sub only mode, change the 2nd marked box to subscriber.

"Via Tip" or "Both" is just the method of requesting

Recently paid for webm files to customize alerts and overlay. I know how to import them, however. The design I paid for needs to have text centered within the animation. The only text layouts I have to use are the 3 stream elements provides. Is there an offset or anything for the text notifications? Where I can center it on top of the webm file.
