Are you testing from the overlay editor with OBS open? If this is the case you will hear multi audio unless you have the overlay editor muted

• Ground Control app must be running

Steps to enable custom name

1. Sign in to https://twitch.tv with the bot account
2. Install and run Ground Control (!gc for download)
3. Visit https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ and generate an oAUTH token
4. Copy/paste everything in the box to Ground Control oAuth settings and enter the name for the bot account
5. Restart Ground Control (custom name may take a few minutes to take effect)

yeah, if you change the font while the overlay is open in OBS, it will sometimes change to default text. In my experience just toggling the visibility of the source will reload the font properly

If we don't have the internal 5 minute timer, then the bot can get banned by Twitch. Its the USERS job to set different external timers and chat lines to be met.

What is the logic behind you having all of those timers on the same timers and lines?

I've answered your question before, the same way I'm explaining it to you how it works and people understand it perfectly and change up their timers and lines and they are happy.

From what I can see from the camera shot, it looks fine to me, maybe the graph isn't showing it, but the count in the top left is. I'm not sure what you have the graph set to, so I can say for certain. You can also view all the events a bit lower, or in the activity feed section of the dashboard. And if you want the bot, just click join on the right, and you can edit what it does in the Bot section of the list on the left

Which exact responses are you referring to?

For emotes you can use !pepes command to turn the emotes it has and set to the default smiley faces.

As for the leaderboard, I don't think that is possible, as the loyalty system and the leaderboard is practically one and the same

(Or at least really closely intertwined, but not impossible to disable if said feature is requested a lot and put into the ideas board, as an option)

Hey I'm trying to make a command where if anyone says "I'm (blank)" in chat then the bot will go Hi, (blank) I'm dad.
I saw this on some reddit post and i really wanna make this work because i have a really really bad sense of humor.
Right now, it'll say the entire message, what would the variable be so that it only repeats what comes after the word I'm (or whatever the command keyword is)?

So like now if someone said "Man oh man, I'm tired," it repeats "Hi oh man, I'm tired, I'm dad."
But I want it to just say "Hi tired, I'm dad"

@lament blade Thats a tall order for a command response. What I'm thinking is maybe try out the regex on the bottom of the command settings. Not sure if that will help, but there is also this variable:

Not sure if that will help you, but it may seem like a way to "hack it" in the response

Other way is, have a custom code that processes the entire message and provides it into this variable -> ${customapi} variable. The variable tabs show this as an example, but you will have to have it hosted somewhere(not github):

Usually that custom code will have an actual response that goes back via the ${customapi} variable and will be the actual response you are looking for

If you don't have a Twitch Prime active, it doesn't stop other people using their twitch prime

Check if you've removed the sub notification from the filter

If they are already a follower, it will not award points if they unfollow and refollow

you can !bonus them points, or adjust on your leaderboard

Only way you will hear different sounds like that is if you have more than one active alert widget

I would recommend checking out the getting started video, as well as the others in the playlist to get used to how the overlay editor works. You can be as simple or complex as you want, it is a pretty powerful system. You can even find a theme you like, and only use certain pieces of that, or take pieces from it and duplicate it to a custom overlay you built. you can set a cooldown there

a user cooldown and a global cooldown

for your points command, you need to disable the Default one since those cant be set to Whisper:

then go back to Custom Commands

there you make a new command that sayes:

$(user) has $(user.points) $(pointsname) and is rank $(user.points_rank) on the leaderboard.```

or

if you dont want them to spam with the leaderboard

and while you make this command you can set it to Whisper!
