also notice performance issues with the game after a while using slobs (definitely not my pc)

@quasi eagle Unfortunately, you can't make a custom command "!pubg" and make it call "!setgame pubg" as there is a protection set in the bot to not be able to call its own commands. This is to protect it self from infinite looping. Also placing an alias on the command won't help as well.

All host settings for alert widget and chat bot module(the one that spits out in chat about follows/alerts) is site wide changed from 0 to 1

Meaning that if the auto-host is with 0 viewers, it should NOT show up in chat or alert box on the overlay

but it will show up on the activity feed, as that can't be changed

In OBS you can put filters on it, so you can basicly "cut" the corners, i can't really show you since am on someone else laptop atm

if you want to have different settings in different scenes for the webcam, then yes, you have to make individual sources. There is a box in the settings you will also need to check so that the camera turns off when you are not on that scene, as the camera will only activate for one source at a time

If you're referring to people that host you with 0 viewers, we changed the minimum required viewers from 0 to 1 for all of our users

If you want 0 viewer hosts to appear both as an overlay alert and in chat change the settings in your alertbox and in the chat alert module as KITE posted

Hi. I'm currently only using an overlay with just Kappagen widgets. No other alerts, no chatbot. It's been going nuts the last few nights. Emoji explosions all over the place. I read up in chat and saw you changed something about autohosts, but I have a small stream, I don't get a lot of autohosts. It was just going crazy out of nowhere. My viewers were like "Omg stream is possessed!"

I mean, it worked normally. When someone followed, hosted, autohosted, donated, etc., it went off. Which is great. But when nothing was happening it was going off by itself over and over.

It was host notifications that came through our new connection, you just didn't get the alerts themselves since you don't have an alertbox from our system

Then it was going off at the auto host with 0 viewers. It was adjusted site wide from 0 to 1 to avoid the spam of alerts and chat module of 0 viewer hosts

The kappagen cannot be adjusted to ignore 0 viewer hosts at the current moment. No ETA on a fix

I use the other service and i have it set to show alerts with 0 viewers. So I know when I get hosts with 0. I get like 1 or 2 hosts like that per stream. That's all. I'm small. And it was going off over and over and over and over.

@dry latch Look. I have explained it 3 times already. We have a NEW connection with twitch. One that other services do NOT have (as far as I know). This connection is MORE reliable with the host notifications, so much so that you will see higher number alerts than other services (SL, muxy, etc).

Unless a small streamer with 10 people in chat is suddenly getting 10 autohosts a minute.

So those "random" pops you were getting from Kappagen were those alerts that you didn't see in other services, but would have seen with our alert system

At this time, there is no way (like Keizar said) to stop kappagen from popping on those alerts, but the best solution will be to turn off Kappagen auto-explode for Hosts, and do a manual command in chat

I get what you are saying. That every kappegen is a legit autohost that I am not seeing from the other service alerts. I just can't believe I get that many. It was so many. I could be wrong, but I just don't think there are dozens of people autohosting me.

I haven't made any changes but now the alerts (followe/sub/host) all show up in the activity feed but don't alert on stream. When i do the test alert on the overlay it works but thats it. I have reset the JWT token, rebuilt the alerts and still nadda 😦

if its 16:9, setting the browser source to 1920x1080 should make OBS fill the canvas with the source

Well, the site is optimized for chrome, so it would be ideal to get it working in chrome. 2 things to try. 1 would be Ctrl+shift+r , to do a refresh ignoring the cache, 2nd would be a new incognito tab

Hi again. It seems like my overlays are still having a hard time loading. I uninstalled Avast, which had been blocking my access to SE, but when I went live, my alerts weren't working properly. I got sound but no gif, though kappagen worked. And then my chatbox didn't work at all. Eventually, my overlay stopped working all together and left me with a black screen.

It seems like something's interfering with my browser source loading the URL. It takes a while for overlays to load whenever I switch them.

For stricking, bolding the text, you may as well try some HTML tags (example <br> provides a new line )

You can't add overlays to a mobile stream, IF you are using the Twitch App. There are other mobile streaming apps that allow overlays. Afaik BitStream is one of them...not really sure. Gonna look back in the channel and see what others have suggested for use

okay so I had this issue earlier this week: Hype cup doesn't show bits in the cup on OBS.

I followed the instructions provided to fix it but the hype cup still isn't fully loading bits and strangely in OBS only. I redid my overlay as 1920x1080 and then loaded it in at the same size with Cmd+F to resize. Still no dice. Left is OBS cup and right is when viewing the overlay in a regular browser just now. I even resized my OBS canvas to match and no changes.

I don't understand it at all. Originally, when I posted yesterday, it seemed like Avast was blocking my access to the StreamElements website, so I uninstalled it. When I went to stream, everything was wonky. Chat wouldn't load. Alert gifs wouldn't load, only sounds.
